Great spot to just hang out and release some steam. They do allow you to rent out a gun but you need to come with another person for obvious reason. You can also just bring your own to shoot. Stressed out from work? This gun range can definitely allow you to let loose. Not too familiar with ammo and guns in general but for the price I thought it was decent.

Been to alot of ranges and my expectations are usually fairly low. They are typically staffed by egocentric, unfriendly people with too much lead exposure and not even customer service exposure. This place is different. I was very surprised by the staff, who was very prompt, knowledgeable and hold your breath...friendly. They asked us, rather than assume we were inexperienced and did not have that macho derogatory tone that range hands seem to develop, they were positive in their demeanor and we felt instructed, rather than told about the facility and how everything worked. I would easily give this place 5 stars if the overall experience was a little more affordable. At $17.00+ for a bag of 50 9mm reloads, they are refilling everyday with our brass, they are likely staying profitable. Not that they shouldnt make money, and yes you can bring your own ammo to avoid paying that price but the fun is cut a little short by cost either way as they dont allow any of the super cheap Russian Wolf or similar and no Steel case, bargain basement or bulk. The easy test, if you have a bunch of ammo and dont know, is to check the ammo with a magnet. If it sticks, leave it at home. The facility is well maintained and lane rentals are reasonable, they have vending machines, bathrooms and a lot of Glocks for sale. The booths are very spacious and well lit and you can double tap with a 1 sec pause between. Fun place, overall I would recommend it, if it is your first time this is a great place to start as these employees are genuinely helpful and that makes it a good time for me everyone.

I went there to purchase a G19. The tall guy without tattoos was probably on his lunch break or I don’t know why he didn’t want to do all the paperwork for the purchase. He just kept telling me the system was down and no other information regarding what I can do to purchase the gun that was on sale (which was still in stock) or when it might be back working again. He eventually offered to call me back to let me know if the system started working again which I think should have been something he should have suggested in the beginning. Anyway he never called me back and I brought my business elsewhere

You cant even sit in the lounge area and wait for someone without constantly being asked if Im waiting on someone. You forget your ID and you not only get berated by your friends but you also get berated by the staff for deciding to wait for them to finish. Whats the point of even having a waiting room if you cant even sit in peace to use it?

I bought a $80 yearly membership to be able to have access to the .223/5.56 and 7.62 calibers. The membership also gets you $7 off fees, and $5 off gun rentals so if you go more than once a month it pays for itself. Good quality range. The hangers can be a bit rough sometimes and drop targets. But it’s cool that they have a clip to hang your extra targets in the booth so you can keep the table clear for gun and ammo.I really appreciate that they allow “high powered” rifles as some people would call them. The staff are friendly as well.I mostly went during the week, only time it was busy for me was Father’s Day, but that’s because they had a promo.Overall it’s a good place to go and I would recommend if you’re in the area.

THIS PLACE SUXZ! When you first walk in as first time customers you should NOT feel like u just joined the military!! Your told where to stand what to give and where to sign as drill orders! After you have to pass, a TOP OF THE LINE gun handling visual/demo in front of the RUDEST “Manager” of this gun range/boot camp, and if you slip up once you will not be able to shoot! I HAVE MY GUN LICENSE AND STILL COULDNT SHOOT! After my Visual/demo “the manager” said my to boyfriend and I we both messed up the SAME THING?!!? We pointed the gun at him, and, he wasn’t able to show us on video for playback! His word against ours. The only person is there was “the manager” and made me feel like he was rude, a racist cop. I went to RMR today to break-in two new pistols. Having never been to this location, I was wondering what kind of experience I would receive. To be honest, I had a blast (no pun intended). The staff was friendly, courteous, and most helpful. The cost was cheaper than what I had expected and the experience on the range was excellent. Having spent the last 13 years using outdoor ranges, I was a bit out of my environment using an indoor range, but nothing about this experience was less than exceptional. Will be back real soon!

Not only are they willing to give advice on which firearms to rent out, they also take their firearm safety very seriously and teach their patrons to proper way to handle a weapon. The Rancho Magnum Range was easy to find. Upon first arrival I was immediately disappointed on the limited parking. They have a tractor trailer taking up most of the parking in their parking lot so I had to park around the corner and walk around the building. When I went inside I was met by one of the workers who greeted me. He was kind and attentive to myself as a customer. The place is really neat inside. They have several gun safes with the guns you can rent inside them. They have blue lights inside of them making the guns look really neat. The range was small. It was about 30 to 40 feet long with maybe 8 or 9 lanes open. The range was clean and well ventilated. It was well lite up with the spotlights. The price I paid was around 18 bucks and some change for entrance. They check your ammo for cheap Russian ammo so leave that stuff at home. Overall I liked this range. It would be better if the range was longer and allowed bigger rifles.

Took my fiancee there. She had shot only once before that and it was on private property so very laid back. The staff at Rancho Magnum were very professional and gave her some detailed gun and range safety instructions. After going over the basics, he handed me a training pistol and told me to take a few moments and go over things with her (he had asked if I wanted to do it or wanted them to do it). I spent a few moments going over grips and stances and then we returned to rent the guns.We rented a few guns that we were considering buying. The staff also talked briefly about home defense situations and were quite helpful. I want to iterate two things about them. . .very professional in making sure she understood rules and safety. . .very helpful and welcoming on her first range experience.Ill probably be coming back to test one or two more guns.

A great range, with friendly staff. Ive been shooting here about once a month for years, and always have a great experience. Range fees and pistol rentals are very reasonably priced, and the staff are very helpful if you need it.

I brought my wife and 5 of her girlfriends, all first time shooters, to range as a start to her birthday weekend. We started with a 30 minute gun and range safety class with one of the instructors, Robin Kim. He displayed more patience than I could have ever mustered with my wife alone with the whole group. It was well worth the nominal fee and range fees. I strongly recommend to anyone taking a first time shooter or group. It made my time much more enjoyable.

For anyone living in Ontario/Rancho, this is a good place to shoot. I didnt really care for (what seemed to be) the lack of general protocol (safety). Its nice that they rent guns to test/try, but I feel safer in ranges where people have to bring their own firearms. The best thing about this range are the hours of operation - theyre open late for those of us who have hectic schedules.

Ive been there about 5 times in the past 5 years and they have always made improvements to the range. Went there recently and had the best service from any range Ive visited. The guys working the counter are welcoming and very helpful. The one with neck tattoos even took my friends through the basic gun safety instructions with clarity and depth.I got the sense that they rely more on ensuring their patrons have adequate firearm education (even if they must spend 15 minutes on training you) versus security inspection and profiling in order to keep their business looking and feeling welcoming and safe. The prices may be a bit higher than other ranges, but you can clearly see that the money goes toward heavy investments on the lane maintenance and upgrades, the main showroom/aesthetic appeal, and most definitely customer service. These guys really do seem proud of their establishment and work tirelessly to maintain its integrity.

Not only are they way over priced, but they are not kid friendly. They wanted me to bring my kids birth certificates in order to let them shoot, but they reassured me that they would copy them so I wouldnt have to bring them again. Wow thanks for that... I kindly passed and told them I did not want them to have my childrens documents just to shoot a gun. I have been to many other ranges up in the high desert area and none of them ever wanted my childrens papers, as a matter of fact one of them even let my children shoot for free with a paid adult... its nice to see that some places still encourage new and or young shooters. Unlike this place, we are slowly losing our privacy and freedoms in this country and the more we tolerate this kind of treatment the more they will keep taking it away from us. Sad to see a gun range of all places having these types of unconstitutional policys.
