A great towing company. I might be their number one supplier of people illegally parking in my spot at my apartment building. When I call they recognize my number for how frequently I call to tow peoples car. It might be one of my favorite things to do is to watch their car being dragged away and knowing they have to wake up to their car missing with a $300+ ticket to get it back. I read these other reviews complaining of their car being towed at a apartment building hoping I was the one that made that happen.

They intentionally go out to private properties around 4:30p.m. and illegally tow cars before closing hours so they may charge the overnight fee. I go to my buddies apartment, use the restroom, talk for 15 min. I go out to put the parking pass on and BOOM!! My car is gone. These people are crooks and deserve to go bankrupt. I wish nothing but the worst for this companies future endeavors.

If it was possible to vote negative stars I would! They illegally towed my car that had no violations and was parked in a private property and safelisted. The error was made by the incompetent employee who patrols that property. Even after confirming everything was how it should be they refused to release my vehicle unless I paid an absurd fee of $400+ Even though my car had no reason to be towed! 30minutes after it being towed! Even until the next day and given all the evidence they held my vehicle illegally and would not release! Management is non existent and the female employees are terrible! No manners or courtesy for customers as all they’re trained to do is take money even if it’s done illegally

Absolutely the most unprofessional towing company I’ve ever been in contact with. They were not on the same page with each other and kept telling me different things when my car got towed. Their prices for a tow are beyond over exaggerated. Just plain old thieves.

They towed my car in my own residence and held my car hostage. They refused me access to the vehicle which had the paperwork that they said was required to get the vehicle. To clarify, they said I required proof of ownership to get the car. The proof was in the car. They refused to let us get the proof of ownership out of the car without the proof of ownership, that was in the car.

Look, I get i t. Its unfortunate when your vehicle is towed when its not your fault. And yes, the charges were awful. I was going to stray away from leaving a bad review based on my own personal experiences, and to keep in mind these reviews are about the service of the shop. This shop service from one rep, specifically, is pretty freaking awful. I called in, polite, inquiring info about an impound (I paid over 1k in charges because my vehicle was stolen, but I didnt put up a fight because I know thats just the process and how it is. I dont beef with this guys, its the person who stole my car.).But the fact that Ive already been through my experience, and for me to call the office and have a rep sound ANNOYED that I am asking questions? Hello. You guys already make it rain over there, the least you can do is have the slightest bit of empathy or at least DONT sound like Im inconveniencing you? You get paid to do this, you already know the majority demographic is completely annoyed, depressed, or stressed out. Get it together.

These guys are over priced pieces of sh@* that towed our car for an arm and a leg. We have 5 kids and 2 are handicapped with our handicapped plate. The car was towed for an hour and they tried changing us over $400. Straight garbage.

Avoid doing business with these people. I got my car towed over the weekend and took it out first thing on monday and they searched my car without permission which is illegal! They throw my personal belongs from my middle consol/ glove compartment out on my passanger seat and the scavenged through my trunk. Poor company along with poor employees!

We called to clarify that the towing company had our correct location and the dispatcher was extremely rude. I understand she might’ve been having a bad day, but look, we’re broken down in the middle of nowhere, we’re having a bad day too and are still capable of being polite. She eventually told us that they weren’t willing to pick us up and we needed to find someone else. After reading other reviews, we’re happy to not give them our business. Geico should never recommend this company to its customers.

Their heavy-duty wrecker service is good had them reposition a load

Called gieco said these guys were our towing service. ETA was 1:30 minutes. 2 hours went by then got a message saying the call was cancelled. Had to wait for another tow company for another hour because of this.

I couldnt give no stars or I would. A simple mistake made from a very nice tow guy could have been easily rectified instead had to deal with Andre a rude condescending man . He basically called me a liar and had an air about him that he didnt care or was so removed from the situation. I had a flat tire and the person that changed was very nice he just put spare on wrong and it seized lug nut no harm no foul just wanted to get fixed would be around 55.00 instead of being a professional he argued with me and said I was lying and even had the tow driver that did the repair talking on another phone asking what I did wrong. If you can stay away from this company do . Horrible management !!!

Allstate Auto Club dispatched Steves Towing to assist me with road service on July 7, 2015 in the a.m. The gentleman that arrived was courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful. His name is Chris and he is definitely an asset to your company.

They forged paperwork to make the car seem as if it had been there for more than it had and also I didnt receive the letter until 2 weeks and it was 1300. These will be arrested soon believe me I own a used car dealership in menifee ca and never seen such shady practices

My daughters car was towed here because of bad tags. Rancho Cucamonga PD uses their services, poor judgement on their part. We went to pick up her car after our bank had closed. When we arrived we were told we couldnt use our credit nor debit card to pay. The credit card needed to be in her name because its her car or we could use exact cash. So we had to wait and be charged another day. How convenient for them!!!

AVOID AT ALL COST!! If I could give them 0 stars I would. They towed our brand new 2016 car that is two days old from my apartment complex (that I pay extra for to have my car parked inside the gate) due to the parking permit not being visible. Once we arrived at Steves towing, they claimed that there were damages already on the car and scratches, they showed us an image of a car that wasnt even mine and filled out a report claiming that the car was in fair condition. AGAIN, this is a brand new car, we would not have bought the car if there were prior damages on it. We refused to sign the papers and took pictures of the damages. I ended up having to pay $277 to release my car. They were extremely rude and on top of that they are LIARS!! They will definitely be hearing from us to follow up on the damages done to my vehicle. This place is a SCAM and shouldnt even be opened for business.

All the reviews above gave me some comfort by letting me know I am not the only one. You have to watch out the lady. She can get in a mad mode suddenly when you are still normally talking to her. When there is a misunderstanding, normal people or service will talk and explain, but she will get mad and threat. Getting mad is a method often used to cover a lie.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. They are WAY OVERPRICED. They charge for everything. This company will take your vehicle out of your own carport from your property own condominium. They have no laws or city codes that supports the criminal activity. When they take your vehicle is this manner, they are considered criminals. No service they can provide should be trusted. Police involvement is my next step. POS!

Do not use this tow service! Especially if you do not want to get ripped off. My mother in law (elderly) used their services and was towed only 2.5 miles home and was charged over $200! She mentioned the price to us the next day and when we called to inquire the price per mile they said it was $10 per mile. Once I explained my mother in laws situation the operator got rude very quickly and hung up on me. They never even gave her a receipt explaining costs. We cannot get her money back but we can help others not get scammed by letting you know.

My car was towed here. I understand that they towed my car at the resident’s request. My one star is because they broke the door handle on my car and tried to tell me it was my fault. Jason was very condescending and rude. I would never voluntarily do business with them.

If I could give these clowns a negative star, I definitely would. My car breaks down in the middle of nowhere next to the San Bernardino freeway and the ETA was 1:57 AM, mind you that it is 10:30 PM. So I decide to catch a Lyft home and leave the keys so they can complete the tow. So then I get a call from the dispatcher who asks why Im not there and as I try to explain to her the situation, the phone acts up and I cant hear everything she is saying because of the constant breakage. As I say Im sorry, I cant understand you, you are breaking up a bit on the phone she says you know what, Im just gonna cancel the tow and hangs up. Extremely unprofessional. Nothing to say because everything bad has been said about this place already. How do they expect people to pay for this. Speeding tickets arent even this much. Smh i dont understand how ppl can actually do this to other people. Make it a resonable price at least. I still have to feed my family and this was literally the money i was going to use to buy groceries. I stopped by my sisters appartment after hours to morn her dad and my step fathers passing after hours. I was literally only there for an hour and now they towed my car and dont even care. While I do understand that my car was parked in a no parking zone and that it was legally towed; I dont understand why they would drag the car and ruin the tires or open the sun roof in the rain and tell me oh I think your sunroof leaks or where my laptop went.
