My son’s birthday party LOVED it! My son is such a gamer and definitely had allot of games to choose from! The owner was so helpful and the kids and adults had a great time! I will be back. Parents and grandparents from my son’s party also played and expressed wanting to come back again! I think the venue is really nice and clean and easy to find parking and overall an excellent experience! Thank you for a wonderful birthday for my son!

Loved it! It was my first time and I will go back ! Me and my kid had a really good time. I suggest kids aged 10 and older should go check it out cus fun!

We booked my sons 15th Birthday party here even though I was a little unsure how it was going to work with a large group but it turned out great. The kids went for the entire two hours and never got bored. They enjoyed playing together on the same game and individually. Looking for a way to entertain the kids with minimal output from you (the parent) then I would highly suggest Zion VR. Also, they do not have a large party room but are willing to open up the lounge area for 30min for something simple.

Great place, cheaper than buying a VR headset. Integrated comms, so you can talk to your party without hassle, and choosing games is only a couple button presses. Overall, great experience.

Good but not super.They dont have 80+ games as advertised, but they are better than AVA.Theyre also overly strict on time.Considering we were the only customers they had, they they could have given us the extra 10 minutes to closing

Staff is fantastic. Very helpful with my group of newbies. I wouldnt recommend playing more than 1.5 hrs. It plays with your head. Extremely fun to interact with your family or your date.

Shawn the owner manager is so kind, attentive and helpful during our gameplay. Prior to arriving, I called to check availability and prices, we then decided to go, so he stated on the phone he will prep the stations for us. Spacious, clean atmosphere. Good vibe all around, very welcoming. I definitely recommend this cool VR gaming place to all Californians & outside visitors! Affordable reasonable prices. Tons of game selection. Youll love this place and become new friends with Shawn.

Amazing experience, one that you just have to try yourself. much better than I expected, this place is geared towards younger kids but I am an adult and brought an adult friend and we really enjoyed it. The staff is helpful and friendly. When I didnt know how to start up the game they kindly talked me through it. If you get motion sick I dont think it will be a problem for you because I did not experience any issues whatsoever such as sickness or blurry vision. if you bring a friend they actually give you two headsets so that you can talk to each other while you play games either in single player or multiplayer you can hear each other the entire time which is really cool!

Shawn (Shaun?) was very helpful and friendly. The equipment was great and the experience was lots of fun!

Would highly recommend this place if you are looking for multi player VR games. I hadnt really played a lot of VR games but wanted to play in tandum with a couple of my friends. The guy at the desk was really really helpful and patient.

What a cool experience! My first time getting to play with VR and it was awesome. Sean/Shawn was super helpful, sweet and awesome. Made sure to give us an assist when we got stuck in a game. The hour flew by and we are so looking forward to coming back very soon.

First time doing VR and my goodness, it was hard to put down. Really a ton of fun, alot of games to choose from. Multiply player games so you can play together with the party you brought. All in all a great experience. The gentleman helping us was amazing. He helped us pick games and connect with eachother. All with a smile, he was wonderful.

This was my first Virtual Reality experience, and I must say, Im not disappointed

Took my mom for her 70th Bday and we loved it! We spent time in the haunted house and especially liked the Nature scene area that you can enter and manipulate- I even stood 6ft from a Brontosaurus! I cant wait to go back.

This place was cool. A few small computer issues in the beginning but overall a cool place. Kids loved it.

It was fun, but most of the games are pretty similar or are difficult to understand when playing in group. The staff was not watching to help when we were stuck.

Fun experience and great for group events/parties!

This place is great with over 80 games to choose from. The archery games are a must to experience. We couldnt get enough game time. We even went back the same day. Good price and good customer service.

A unique experience thats worth seeing once, but multiple visits are not for everyone.I went here for my significant others birthday, and was surprised that VR was already creating small business. The inside of the store is relatively dark, save for the entrance and hall way. The majority of the room has been converted into moderately sized cubicles that are equipped with a VR helmet containing speakers, microphones, and graphic lenses. The associate at the time helped with all the tasks, from putting on the VR equipment to using it. The controls are generally user friendly, but those who are unfamiliar with gaming may need some time for getting used to the interface (i.e. the side button is a little quirky at first). As with most VR headsets, the graphics are a little blurry, and may need some adjustment for adequate viewing.In terms of games there are a plethora of them. My friends and I only had a one hour time window, which we dedicated solely to the multiplayer survival zombie game. After about ten minutes I became used to the controls, and was slashing and shooting at the undead with relative ease. The game does take a little bit of movement, but fortunately the cubicle rooms are padded, with enough space that hitting a wall is unlikely and harmless. I found the zombies somewhat horrifying at first since they are up close to your face, but you get used it as a long horror movie slowly loses its treachery.I can say the first third of the game was very fun, but after the initial VR excitement the gameplay became reptitive, and in the last ten minutes I dropped out of the game; my were very tired, and I needed a break from gaming. If I had to choose between playing another 2-D cooperative survival game like Left 4 Dead and the VR game we played, I would always go with the former.I dont regret trying out this VR experience, but its not for me. 2-D graphics are still better than the ones in virtual reality, and the mechanical skill of the controls wear off after one or two sessions. But thats just my opinion; when I was playing there were another two people already situated, and they seemed like they were astute and having a blast. VR is definitely an experience some people would enjoy, especially those who like feeling immersed. Its like going on carnival rides: for some people one little roller coaster is enough, while others want to feel like they are on the brink of death. VR is similar; you need to try it once to examine if you enjoy it, and if you like it then you need more time to maximize your satisfaction.To be honest, I have tried other VR sets before, and like my previous tries better than this one (I prefer an archery game I played much more over the zombie one I describe). However, this is the longest VR experience I have encountered, and Im not sure I would be willing to buy a set or go to venue again after this.So should you try Zion Virtual Reality Arcade? Its definitely worth a shot.Note: I posted no photos of gameplay nor the venue due to confidentiality of players.

Went there for my sons 16th birthday...he loved it and wanted to stay longer?

Thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The gentleman here was experience helpful and it was a fun experience. Definitely made for two or more in a party to truly enjoy the experience.

Fun birthday party and the games were for all ages

An enjoyable experience, but overall they did not have a lot of selections for the price, you pay. The group experience was a fun one, the staff is very helpful and serviceable. The atmosphere is nice, but the thing it is lacking is more group oriented content, party games are needed I feel, but I would recommend it if you have never gone, bring a friend :)

Do yourself a favor and check out this amazing business. Went in today with my non-gamer girlfriend after seeing a poster in the local Temple coffee and we both had a BLAST. Sean (the owner) was very accommodating and gave us a full tutorial, but their set-up is incredibly intuitive and user friendly. State of the art, no motion sickness, and well worth the pretty penny.

Unbelievable till you try it. Im HUGE into tech but to have such an absolutely professional setup available for prices that are SO much better than the 2,000$ to own it yourself is amazing! Take your best friend, take your significant other, take your grandma and try this out. It is an absolute bucket-list item and is just insane!

A very nice family-owned virtual reality venue. The staff here seem to care about their business, and they offer decent prices for use of their equipment. Their headsets and controllers seemed clean and working well.This is also a great place for groups, as they have 8 Vive stations, set up with voice chat to each other and linked for multiplayer games.Otherwise I dont have much to compare with, it was simply a nice place to be and a pleasant experience. I would most definitely recommend this place.

The best vr experience ever! Prices are very reasonable and well worth every penny. The guy Sean that works there is so helpful the whole time you are playing. Over 40+ games to choose from and its multi player. Zion is the place to visit for vr.

Great experience! I went here for a date night. Could not have gone better. I was able to communicate with my date via microphone. Worked surprisingly well.I have been curious about VR for a while. Thought I should give it some time before investing. After my experience using the Vive I can tell they are ahead of my expectations. Still going to wait a bit longer before I invest. This is a great place to hold me over till then.

The Arcade itself is pretty good! The VR headset is easy to put on but can be nauseating at times whenever you play physically exerting games. Virtual Dodgeball, Eagle game and the Zombie game were worth the 1hr time slot

Super cool place to test the world of virtual reality. they have a ton of games to play and even multiplayer ones. the more people you go with the cheaper it is. i wouldnt go every weekend, but its definitely worth it once in a while.

Great price and a ton great games especially the multiplayer games. An hour is not really enough in my opinion.

Staff was incredibly friendly/helpful. They help you set up everything and get situated, you can go by yourself or bring friends and play multiplayer games with them. This business deserves more recognition. Highly recommend this place for gamers that cant buy themselves a VR system.

Best place for VR that I have been to so far

1 hour might not be enough...

This place KICKS ASS and Shawn/Sean, dont know how he spells his name, but he is GREAT and very helpful. He doesnt just leave you to figure the games out. If you are having trouble, he is already on it and explaining to you how to do the game through your headset.Great prices, making an appt ahead of time is highly suggested so you are locked in at the time of your choice, but not required. Sold by the hour and can book it for as many hours as you like. And you van play with multiple players. Thats where the real VR fun begins and gets very intense.There are 9 rooms and over i thibk it was 40+ games on the menu and all are categorized by the difficulty levels.If you want to really experience some VR, this is definitely the place.

Great...fun place for kids

Went with a group 11/5/17 and it was ok. They have only HTC Vive VR and are missing some of the biggest games. This is acceptable. What is not acceptable is the staff constantly kept our volume low. We had to ask numerous times to hear the games.

The staff was professional, friendly and helpful. My family had a great time playing individual and group games.

An absolute blast!In the mid 90s I went to a VR gaming booth in a mall. It was very cool for the time (mostly giant polygons on a fixed path) and ever since then Ive been waiting for it to advance and explode into the mainstream. Finally its here and its a TON OF FUN.The owner was really nice and helpful. If me or my friends had an issue, since this was our first time, he was right there to help us out. I stuck to the multi-player games and they ranged from simple fun to exhaustingly fun. Lots of first person shooter options, but I also saw some cool Google Earth VR, and other games available as well.The headset and headphones were comfortable for me. The controller tracking (to make sure that your hands in the game match up to your hands in real life) was great. I had one small glitch with that but the owner was quick to fix it and it was my fault anyway.I had a very brief moment of feeling disoriented in the beginning but that quickly passed once I started interacting with menus and entered the games.I could have played longer and cant wait to share Zion VR with friends and family!

People helped me with anything I needed and all of the games were fun.

The VR experience was amazing! Each Vive device is in a small room like a video arcade. Theres a screen outside so your friends can see what your doing in the game. The space was nice. Its $30 per hour with a max of two people sharing or splitting the time.There are many games available for the Vive, including multiplayer. I tried a virtual painting game where you paint the air around you. It stays where you put it. I also tried an undersea adventure. My favorite level was The Abyss, which is the deepest level of the ocean. One hand is a flashlight. You can interact with on screen animals with both hands. At that level you see angler fish, jellyfish, and one surprise I wont ruin for you. My husband tried a co-op zombie fighting game and an archery game. We split the time 50/50, which was easy to do because there was a clock function in the experience. I dont remember if it counted down or up, but it was useful for us to pace ourselves. We went with friends a who also grabbed an arcade. It was so much fun!

Absolutely brilliant experience. The staff are friendly and helpful, answering any questions I might have had. The tutorial they gave me was intuitive, very self-explanatory and it made my game time go much more smoothly.Im so happy to know that ZionVR is here in Sacramento, as it is now the closest place to test out the HTC Vive, without needing to travel to San Francisco or Las Vegas. I definitely plan on coming back here and I encourage everyone to check them out!

Great VR experience, played several games, and the staff was cheerful and quite helpful. The shooter games were my favorite, but they had a lot of options.

Shaun was very nice, curious, and helpful.

So I called asked about what the virtual reality was about and I was interested in coming in so I drove about 30 mins away and as soon as I arrived they said that they had a party coming in and we cant take us in very rude and a lack of professionalism, I dont recommend this place at all poor customer service and lack of communication

Tried it for the heck of it and it was a blast! Arizona sunshine is the one I played. If you like shooting zombies its the one. I will deffinetly be back
