This is quite a challenging peak to get to. Be prepared for long ascents/descents, and some challenging scrambling (It may be possible to boulder near the but that is not recommended at all). The peak is totally woth all the work. You can see many of the peaks of northeastern San Diego county. From trail heads its about 8.4-8.8 Mile round trip. Total acent is 1700 ft. and you peak out at around 3900 ft. Again I highly suggest you attempt this peak if you are a moderately skilled backpacker or a regular hiker with some bouldering experience. The top is very steep.I only warn this because I almost fell off a granite slab trying to top out. This was right before these pictures were taken. So please be safe everyone.
