No one was there, which was great. Huge park for large dogs, only thing I didnt like was the water for pets is turned off. Make sure you bring your own water and bowl!!! They have bowls but they gross and dirty.
Its was so fun and relaxing me and my friend loved it there ️
Cant wait till Covid-19 is done. Love this park.
Great place to bring your child to swim! The very large slide is great, my daughter can’t get enough of it .. I think this is one of my daughters favorite places to be in the summertime.
Great place. Well run and always spotless. Kids love the indoor slide
Nice staff. Very diligent lifeguards. We love taking our kids here. The only issue Ive ever experienced had nothing to do with the establishment. Just a parent that refused to pay attention to their child randomly pulling open the curtains of clearly occupied showers...
Great indoor pool with lazy river and slides. I took the kids (11 year olds) in the dead of winter and the place is nice and warm. There were several birthday parties going on. the kids had a fabulous time and requested to come again.
This is a great place for both kids and adults. The pool is indoors so no need for sunscreen. If going on a Sunday, try to get there when the pool opens. It gets to capacity quickly and people are made to wait in the lobby until someone leaves. You are allowed to bring in food and drink. There is a good area for toddlers.
I was okay I would of gave 5 star but I payed for 10people and my son got a scrap on his foot from coming down the slide there and they made him stay out the pool... they didnt have waterproof bandages or a wrap to hold it on... he was so upset watching the other 9 of us have fun so I made everybody in my crew leave because it wasnt fair to my son it wasnt his fault
It is a nice pool. I would definitely visit so much more if the chlorine was not so strong. I am not the only person making this complaint and I am very surprised that no one seems to care if people are turned away because of the smell. Our eyes burn every single time that we visit. It is absolutely horrible. I love the set up of the pool, I love the lazy river, I love the slide, the toddler area, everything. Its a great pool.
Had my sons birthday party there!! He had so much fun!!! Wish the space for rent there would be a longer time frame. We had to rush getting everything cleaned up and moved out for the next party waiting!!
I love coming here to swim and chill with my friends and family. The only thing is the high levels of chlorine. Every time I swim I often inhale the chlorine and it burns my nose but I still love swimming. I recommend coming here.
Sometimes there is a wait, but other than that there are great slides, the lifeguards always make sure everyone and everything is safe. There are several attractions there and precautions, The attractions would be the little kids area where there were a mini slide, a spraying area, a little sprayer, and a bucket dumper. In the main area theres a lap pool and it helps inspired swimmers. They even close off a portion of the lap section for games such as Volleyball. There is a big yellow slide too, which was very nice. They have a lazy River and a whirlpool. The prices are also very convenient . I suggest going here for fun! They even have a 10 minute break for adult swim.
We have been to this aquatic center several times, but will not be returning. Despite some inconveniences (including the fact that the vending machines never work), we always considered it a fun place to take the kids. However, after visiting yesterday, I will not be returning.Although the directors assured us the chlorine was at safe levels, my family and friends all had terrible reactions to the chlorine fumes. The chlorine smell was overwhelming to the point I could not breathe. My children were crying because their eyes and chest were burning. I could not keep my eyes open. My youngest son complained of burning in his private area. We were sick the rest of the afternoon with headaches and nausea.I called and spoke to the director. She assured me that everything was standard, and suggested that we must be overly sensitive or borderline asthmatic (we are not). Seven people (that I know of) were affected yesterday - there was definitely something wrong. The director offered free passes for another visit, but these will certainly not be needed.
We’ve been going several days a week since school has been out. For all the hundreds of children that come through, the facility is really clean. We have seen them reach capacity a few times, but it has been times when the day campers are there. If you want to get in without waiting, arrive early - you can’t be mad if you read this review but decide to show up at 1PM when the campers are there and have to wait to get in - that’s your own fault.Read some reviews where the parents were mad that the lifeguards weren’t babysitting their children. There’s always been 5-8 lifeguards on duty, with more in the break room for their rotation. Bring friends with you if you want someone to entertain your children because the lifeguards are there for safety and emergencies - they aren’t babysitters or entertainment pieces. You can bring your own food, and there’s a vending machine should you want to buy a snack there. The two things I would change about this facility, is to 1) originally have built separate changing areas for 18 and over and 18 and under, and 2)to have put an area like the party area that has seating only, so there’s a few more places to sit that aren’t in the path of wet swimmers going from place-to-place.It’s a great pool for kids, overall.
I find this new building as good indoor swimming pool. I want first time entering the prices sale. I live north Raleigh on North Carolina. I hope plan to be go swimming.
This is a friendly safe spot for everyone. The admission is reasonable and is a very fun place as well..my kids and I love this place.
I like taking my kids here on the weekends. Its a nice facility with some good classes, and it has a sort of splash pad for the kids. Great place to swim especially if its raining outside and the kids need to burn off some energy.
Clean and fun! My daughter does swim team here for the past three years and it never failed to be boring for her!
Me and my family had the best time when we attended this pool!I just wish it was the same price as all the other city of Raleigh pools.Other than that, NO COMPLAINTS FROM ME!!
Wonderful family place for swimming in summer or winter. Great place for the kids pool parties.
My family loves going to this pool! But the only thing is the chlorine is so so strong! It almost smells like bleach is being used also.. after we leave our eyes are burning and our noses are runny and can hardly breath in and out. I went today and came home and showered and can still smell the strong chlorine
My family has been coming here for the last few years, we have loved it every time. We have learned to avoid the full capacity is to get there a little early like near opening time. My brother has had his birthday here every year for the past 3 years. His friends and there parents all loved it.
I only parked here for Greenway access. Nice access point.
An great place for all ages
Love taking the kids here. A bit small so it could be a wait if its busy, but it is necessary to not have an overcrowded pool. I think they used to have pool noodles, but they didnt this time.
Very fun place nice staff. Guest can often act ratchet and kids need to learn Respect. But always a fun place
Went after Xmas day. Got pretty much entire pool for ourselves.
Pricing is fair. Pools are clean. Entertained a two year old for about an hour. Money well spent.
This is the most busy of the city pools that Ive been to. Its definitely geared more towards kids playing than adults swimming.
Took my 4 year old son here for the first time today. We loved it. I’m sensitive to chlorine but the water did not bother me at all (its obvious its in there but not in an overwhelming amount!).The entire facility and pool are in great shape and very clean. The employees there were really nice.I didn’t realize until we got in the water that there is an area with powerful jacuzzi-like jets! You sit on a step and it massages your back and feet at the same time. As a mom of a wild little boy who wears me out daily, I gotta say I loved that area of the pool the most lol!
Cool, cool place to swim. Lanes for laps, mazes and slides are just a few attractions.
We always have fun with our kids swimming there.
Great place for an indoor swim in the winter. Although, it is VERY HOT if youre not swimming. Staff is very friendly and helpful too.
Nice facility. Great staff. Excellent, friendly life guards.
Great for family and friends... The pool maze is cool!
What a great park, trails, playground, athletic feilds, pool, dog park
You cant sit on the side of the pool, and its a little awkward to get to different parts of the pool, but its a good family spot and fairly cheap.
Great place for children to enjoy water activities, very versatile for the variety of ages in attendance!
My daughter loved it! Very kid friendly! The staff are very nice, I lost my keys and they were very helpful. Although I never found my keys, the staff did an awesome job of being supportive during that stressful moment.
I loved this place. My kids and family members enjoyed. It is worth the money!!!!!!
It was amazing I loved it but the only thing that took long was the wait because more and more people can each time. But thats it I loved it, it was amazing.
Kids had a blast. Not the cleanest pool but it was fun.
Just Awesome Had A Great Time Swimming With My Kids On This 4th Of July
We will not be returning here at all !!! We waited 1hr to get into the pool. We were not told why.... Rumours there wasnt enough life guards so they had to lower the capacity :( the water was very cold :( and the locker rooms were filthy! Also alot of people sitting pool side eatting, drinking, chatting ..... As this was a 1 in 1 out system it was very frustrating watching the lack of swimming from a high amount of people. My daughter who is almost 4 who had to sit and watch through the glass in the waiting area .....at this circus ! This whole pool model needs looking at..... at the least giving a good clean . If I could I would rate this 0 stars.
Family friendly indoor community pool with a small lazy river and giant slide
We love this pool. Kevin, the manager, always goes out of his way to make sure everyone has a good time. The facilities are safe and clean. Our son with special needs loves coming here and we always feel very welcome and accommodated.
I have attended this pool for several years, daily. I want to thank them for an inviting, clean and entertaining place to exercise. This pool ha so very much to offer from toddlers to adults as well as safety vest, free to use, for those who love water but are not strong swimmers. The staff has been consistently well train, attentive and friendly. They supply noodles and soft larges balls for kids. There are water slides-one large and one for toddlers in the shallow section, water spouts, a whirlpool vortex and a lazy river which I like to walk-with the current and against. Marci teaches a great aerobics course on Tues. and Thurs. There are water jets that make bubbly water and a bench to sit on if your back needs some jet water action. The staff are consistently welcoming and friendly. Arron, Priscilla, Michelle George, Lindsey, Brianna, Sterling, Garrison, Christian, Carly, Samantha, Austin, Ariel, Patrick, Johnny and the other members of the staff are attentive, friendly and work to keep this a wonderful place to be. Thank you!!!
I attend this facility for water aerobics class; best move I made in a while the instructor is nice and motivating. The facility is pretty nice also. I never been to a pool with water jets. Awesome!
Great place and staff. Too many dumb/stupid/entitled patrons not following simple rules and not watching their own children that cannot swim, they either snuck out and left them or they are glued to their phones...
Staff was friendly & so the center was nice and clean. They just need to make sure they stick to their waiting policy for “everyone”. A guy came in ahead of us and got a ticket for his family of five but not everyone was present, the ticket was given to him without any hesitation. About 20 minutes later a lady and her daughter came in to celebrate a bday and they were a family of 6 but not everyone was present and she was denied the ticket. The rules should apply to “everyone”!
My kids who range in age from 4-13 loved it! Theres a great zero entry area for the small kids with splach buckets and a small water slide. They have 2 Lanes for laps and then a pool area for just casual swimming. There is a vortex that my 7 year old was obsessed with. The big water slide, 3 stories I think, was a hit with my older 2. You have to be 48 inches tall to go down that one and it leads into the lazy river. There were at least 6 life guards stationed around the pool and felt very safe. They have great changing rooms and a nice area to sit and eat lunch if you bring one. Fantastic place, well be going again.
Great for the whole family. Kiddie splash area, lap lanes, whirlpool, lazy river waterside, water basketball and volleyball. Love it!
Great place to swim in from out of town visiting family wanted fo find a place for the kids to burn off some energy. Great prices lots of swimming area, including a lazy river and water slide.
Loved the family changing area it made it easy to get my daughter ready and keep her safe. Kid play area is great. A few rude staff but otherwise a good place to stay out of the heat.
The pool have different sections with various depth, keeping litte kids in mind...
It’s soo fun u should go soon very fun
Awesome place to bring the family. They have a nice water slide too!
I love how they have different things to do with the kids like water slides and water park for the smaller children. My brother goes there every week because he has swim practice with his coach and other children. They even have a place for birthday parties but it does get too crowded which makes it hotter inside.
Nice pool, but the employees spent a lot of time joking with each other on their phones and not paying attention. I had to watch my kids instead of relying on the lifeguards because they were rarely watching the pool. I would appreciate better management of employees, more professional. Disappointed.
Fun place, the only thing I dont like is that they charge if youre not going to swim.
Definitely one of our family favorite places to swim! It’s worth the drive for us on a rainy day. There is a lazy river, a toddler splash area including a toddler water slide and a giant tube waterslide for older kids/adults. We always have a lot of fun and spend a solid 3 to 4 hours here since they allow packed lunches by the pool. There can be a wait on the weekends but it’s usually not long and the staff is very accommodating. They also have the best family style bathrooms/showers of all the community pools in Wake county!
Lots of fun, great way to spend a cold or rainy day
Great for families and adults who are looking to swim laps.
My kids love to come here. My oldest and here friend are 15 and have to pay the adult price which is fine but then are required to get out of the pool for adult swim time. I dont understand the reasoning behind this. If I am paying the price for an adult than they should get the same privilege as them, or change the pricing for them. I do t think I should have to pay more for them if they are getting the same privilege as the younger children. Its not a matter of the money it is a matter of fairness and principal. Then when I asked staff one told me 18+ and other told me 15+ for adult swim. I think prices should reflect the privilege given to the guest
Pools are wonderful, clean environment and great atmosphere
Great indoor swimming facilities specifically geared towards kids. Several fun water features including a water slide, lazy river, whirlpool and buckets that dump water on your head. Zero depth entry into the near the buckets and small waterslide make it great for toddlers as well. The locker rooms with showers are also very nice to rinse off and get dressed before you leave. You can also host birthday parties here although the time allowed is a bit rushed.
My daughter loves their pool and giant slide.
Fun place to go, only wish I could have gone down the slide with my 20 month old.
Best Indoor Pool in Raleigh. Play area for babies and giant pool and slide. Prices are reasonable. Sometimes there is a line
Great Pool area to play in when there is no wait. There is a very strong chlorine smell inside the pool area. I have been here about 5 times and 4 of them were good while in my last visit we waited almost an hour to get in because they were over capacity
Great place
Great public pool. My kid loves the water slide, whirl pool, and lazy river. Nice wide lap lanes, too.
Its really nice mini water park, but the amount of chlorine will suffocate you. Your eyes and nose burn even if you dont get wet. Poor kids cant even stand it. We left after 20 min, and didnt even take time to change. We needed to get out and get fresh air!
Great place for kids
Great park, great Aquatics center, modern, clean, beautiful walking trails. One of the best.
Nice facility, but the chlorine use is heavy and really burns your eyes, even when not swimming.
Great place for the whole family to enjoy!!!!
Really nice pool and changing areas.
I showed up and they said there was full capacity and atleast a 45 minute wait, sis i’m hot and i want to swim not wait, ugh.
I really like the pool sometimes its full. Its really fun and I like the water slide but when its full you have to wait for like 2 hours. It would be fair if they let the people swim for like 2 hours and then let the new people get in.
Nice place to take the kids. The huge waterslide, lazy river, and vortex are a lot of fun.
Really restrictive about swimming, didnt really enjoy activities either
So much fun! Indoor pool with water slide, whirlpool, splash area.Only give 4 stars b/c it was so crowded we had to wait ~20 mins to get in
We have been there a few times for birthday parties and my kids loved it. The staff is very nice and they keep the place in top shape.
Enjoyed this with two grandsons.Dressing rooms are very cold; not great for changing children.Otherwise Id give five stars.
Great place to have bday for kids. Friendly staff.
Ive grown up around this park and i have loved this park form the beginning but now we have a pool! before i became a lifeguard there i loved everything about it. As soon as i was old enough to get a job there i took my chance and got the job. Ever since i worked there i made and met new friends almost everyday no matter if it was other employees, patrons, or old friends that i havent seen in a long time. Its been a great first job and the best experience in my life. If i could find my first job over again i wouldnt have it any other way.
Lovely life guard named Emily who was there when I went. This is a great place to take the kids, even in winter!
Nice small water park; my kids enjoyed. Keep in mind that you cant really swim much but can play with kids.Chlorine levels were high and I had a burning sensation in my eyes later. Plus seems like they select guards who will never even try to smile.
Its little small and not clean enough for my liking but 20 bucks for 2 adults and 1 child aint bad I will go back.
Great pool...so fun for the family!!
Too many rules, lifeguards constantly telling adults thing not to do even when you are one of 5 people in the entire place. No ones safety was in question, but I were constantly nagged while playing with my daughter. Sir, she cant stand there or sir you cant be in this area of the pool while the slide is on (no one at the pool) or sir do you see that sir, she cant jump from there etc etc. It was constant, again no one was in any harm ever.
