Best night Ive had in a while. We did run into some issues with someone in our group not being dressed properly (he was wearing joggers), but we simply werent aware. We were able to work it out in the end and get my friend a change of clothes. Im glad we did as we all enjoyed our time here. This place has awesome drinks, music, and a high energy vibe. Will definitely be back.Edit to add: As for everyone getting upset over the dress code.. Whether or not you agree or understand, its there for a reason. I think the dress code makes the place even better.
Gotta go with at least one other person. The place is nice, if you want to have some fun it is great! The staff seems nice. I went by myself, no one wanted to talk or anything. Not a great place to meet people. I highly recommend it for couples!
Good Club for younger crowds. From ages 21 to 34, definitely. Older than that, Definitely Not Adviseable.
FOR ANY ONE UNDER 18+ IT IS ACCEPTED THURSDAY- SATURDAY,I went last night with my lady, Everything was well balanced, The drinks were a good price, the water was only a dollar, Bar tenders were Great, Security Was not strict at all and THE ENTRANCE FOR SATURDAY WAS 5 DOLLARS A PERSON, Alot of Girls, The lights Were good,And of course the music hit hard.I think that covers everything, 10/10 would recommend.
Showed up for NYE party and was turned away because it was a collar only dress code for the event. As you can see this was not list on the website in the image below. Had to go all the Walmart on NYE just to buy a shirt. Thanks Walmart for being open! Do better Still Life!
I went on New Years and because I was wearing a Patagonia sweater and some Lululemon sweatpants I wasn’t allowed in. Apparently I wasn’t dressed appropriately. I looked presentable and they turned me away. Unless you are dressed in a suit or a dress on a busy night then they are really disrespectful. Worst club I have ever visited.
Nice venue. 18+ crowd with alcohol for 21+.mostly EDM club music.
I dont usually go out but I had a fantastic time here. Great drinks and awesome people. The atmosphere is relaxed and they play great music.
A very simple club for very simple people. DJ wasnt that great. It all depends on your group if you will have a good time or not. Personally I would go to or throw a house party.
Had a blast here for a bachelorette party. We had VIP service. Our cocktail waitress Tara was awesome. She came back often making sure we were good and refill our drinks. Bouncers were great and seemed to be on top of any issues that were trying to occur. The outdoor Tiki area was nice to be in since it go really hot inside. The bar staff out there were great as well. I do wish some better music was played, but I did dance the entire night.
Good time especially to go and have fun with friends. 18 and older club tho. Drinks are good and Id say cheap, staff is nice also.
The music is fun and the atmosphere is usually great but on occasion it gets very crowded and you’re just getting pushed around in there. when this happens, it gets hot and sweaty and kind of gross
Such a great place. Been going for years.
First time there and I’m not even remotely entertaining going back. The DJ Alski Love couldn’t get even 1/5 of the people at the nightclub to dance. He kept remixing great songs and it was just awful.
They charged me 12$ for 2 bottles of water and the guy said it was 1$ each. Im really disappointed
The music is phenomenal, but nobody really like to dance. But if youre the type that love loud music and alcohol, this is youre heaven
Definitely pregame still life Greenville is way more lit though
This wasn’t just a nightclub this was an experience. Amazing staff and a great atmosphere. The DJ had everybody dancing all night long and the drink prices are not even that crazy
This was the lamest club I ever went too!!! I will never go again, waste of money
Good atmosphere and staff, just gets hot inside quickly and the resident DJ kinds sucks so we go on nights with guest DJs
Club atmosphere with the potential of running into underage girls. Music was stuck in the 2000s. It’s a great club for freshman’s in college.
Havent been to a nightclub in a while, but this was a pleasant surprise. Great music and a fantastic audio system. You could feel the bass thumping through your chest!
Great spot for electronic music and dancing. Bartenders are great and the VIP lounge upstairs is very nice. 10/10
Had a great time dancing, music was great but staff was incredibly rude I went outside to get some air. I didn’t even realize the X marks on my hands smeared off from sweating and dancing shoulder to shoulder, as I was still catching my breath I was picked up from my seat and was told to leave, after asking the staff that if he could just put the X’s back on, he told me I was being difficult so he tried pushing me, with me not moving the first time I guess he took it personally and started to get physical so I put my hand up not trying to cause a problem keep in mind that this was a 30 something year old guy and I’m 19. So I strongly do not recommend still life, be more professional and talk to your staff which are the face and reputation of your business
Why post a dress code if it isn’t available to the public and you’re rejected at the door?
I get VIP service all of the time and the bottle prices change at the cocktail servers convenience which is not a good business strategy. The rudeness is blown out of proportion as well. Definitely wont be bringing my clients here again!
I think it’s creative and smart business to have Thursday night As college night. There are not many places to go where you can dance and dress up to hit Raleigh’s downtown as a young adult. To give a 1 star for this, it’s just rude. Older adults have a pick of many other downtown night clubs to go to or just pick a Friday Or a Saturday. You can’t please everybody.,
Too crowded inside, but has nice outside area
Great place to turn up. Seabass is the best bartender
Its an 18+ club with no dresscode
The music is 97% dubstep. Wish they played more R&B. The setup is nice tho
Nice place great atomsphere nicest people and great music best place I have been to in a long time reminds me of my collage days
Rude staff. This is not an LGBT friendly club at all. I chose to go out as a transgender female to have a good night and enjoy myself. However, the door guy had an issue with my attire (it was crop top). Yet allowed other females in wearing similar outfits or even more risqué. As I was leaving the club, he chose to address me as BRO or some other masculine term he used and proceeded to ban me not because I caused issues or was rude to anyone but literally because of an outfit that showed my stomach(Despite several females walking out behind me in similar outfits OR booty shorts showing cheeks). The only reason I can rate one star is because the bartenders are super nice and the DJ actually is awesome. Unfortunately, I am banned over something so minor and it just goes to show this is not a progressive place to be yourself and have a good time.(Dress code cant be used as a defining factor if you are letting other females come in with similar outfits. That in itself is discriminatory and a double standard)
Always a lit time with whoever you go with and even better when you can hype up the party
It was solid, but it was mostly frat kids and overpriced drinks.
Worst club in Raleigh. Think they’re a 5 star, nationwide known club and have ridiculous rules. Cant get in with joggers, or any pants without belt loops. Cant wear jordans, boots, Timbs, or hats which i think is a little racist but whatever. They Wont let you in with a slightly faded i.d or slightly cracked. That aside the venue is very small and the music sucks 90% of the time. Vip section is trash and is literally right next to the crowded dance floor. Ive been there like 10 times and they still turned me away cause my i.d was cracked. Wouldn’t recommend 0/0
Was my 1st time here and I loved it !
Okay music, kinda gets crowded, okay prices & nice workers....but still very fun
Came the last 2 Thursday’s and got in without a problem, this past Thursday I went and was told I needed a college ID to get in, but other people that we asked in line did they have a college ID they told us no but were able to get in. Also the guy at the door was extremely rude about it! I guess you need to know people who work at the door to get in. Ended up going to cornerstone where we were welcomed, and the music and drinks were great!
Great music and light setup. But dance floor is small and it gets super crowded easily. Not enjoyable at that point
Great experience, perfect to rock the floor. Good crowd. Surely repeatable.Prices, drinks, space is average. The decoram & music was very nice.
This place is very bad. i was told at the door I wasnt allowed in because I didnt have a “membership” when the people before me wasnt asked anything about a membership
Choose anywhere to go in Raleigh but this place. Although the staff is really nice, the management sucks. Over a month ago values were wrongly charged in my open tab, and the house has done nothing to return my money, even though Ive contacted them over 8 or 9 times. Ignoring my emails seems to be very pleasant for them.Edit: since they insist on lying on my face, Id like to make myself clear once again: the money charged inappropriately on my tab was not $2 dollars. It was not a tip for one of the bartenders, unless they are accustomed to have $15 dollars tips from the costumers without them knowing. I did said that countless times to you and its absurd that you insist on pretending this didnt happen.
Decent club. Sometimes hit or miss, but Ive always had a good time. The drinks are VERY expensive here.
Im not one to write a review but I felt this was necessary. I had been in contact with a manager by the name of Saki. I booked a table for Saturday and she told me to text her when I got to the club and she would meet me at the front and escort me to my table. I text Saki 5 minutes before I arrived and she never responded nor did she show up. Come to find out she was not here at all and some other person took us to out table. They stuck us in a small corner that was supposed to fit 8 comfortable, well it did not. We asked to be moved to a bigger section but we couldnt. The alcohol was also watered down, which is crazy because I didnt by drinks I bought bottles. So for 300 dollars I got two bottle of watered down liquor. Multiple people in party pointed it out to me. The music was not diverse, it was more pop and techno fist pump music than anything else. To put the icing on the cake I text the manager about two days later to let her know I left my card with our hostess and she did not respond. Still to this day I have no heard back from her. I wont be coming back and I wont be recommending it to anyone. Very disappointed.
Threw up on six people, lots of fun would go again!
Very LGBTQ friendly and opened minded. Very dragqueen/Transgender friendly. Doesn’t participate in HB2. Very kind staff
Used to be a good place to go and have fun, until my friend and I were told we couldn’t get in because of a new 21+ rule (“come back on college night”) along with so many rules and changes. I live in Greenville and I don’t really care for that one either .
Bad music, weird vibe, expensive cover... left within 5 minutes. Would not recommend!
It was a fun vibe, however this is the first bar I’ve EVER been to that tried to charge me ($2) for water!
Great club, great feel, great music. But not great for adults on Thursday nights because its the 18+ night. Everyone who turned 18 about 5 minutes ago comes here on Thursday nights. I guess if partying with children is your thing.
Outstanding nightclub experience. Managers and staff always look out for what you need, cover&drinks are fairly priced, DJs are phenomenal and the club itself is very spacious. Good vibes all around every time I go there! Definitely the place to check out when you are out on Glenwood.
There was definitely way too many people. There is an upstairs, but it was closed and there were way too many people downstairs to meet fire codes. It was gross to walk through all the sweaty people. I was touched innapropriately and wasted money. Worst club experience ever, worst part of my birthday.
If you are black don’t bother going to this spot. They wont allow you to go in under the pretense of not being a “member” lol. Pathetic
Great atmosphere good people to party with
The bouncers can get a little personal. They let themselves get involved in drama and will hold grudges against customers so as to ban them from the club and therefore providing profit based on personal matters. All in all I loved the club... while it lasted.
The energy is always high and the music is always good, it gets really crowded but that could be a good or a bad thing depending on what you prefer. The patio is really nice and has a lot of space, and it makes for a great escape when you get tired.
The bouncer is the biggest joke you will encounter ever…
It has $5 entry charge. Pretty much good crowd expected. Nice place to hangout
Patrick Swayze would be dissapointed with these bouncers
Small place. Not alot of girls. Music was good and staff is polite. But be warned, cops prowl around this place 24/7, so pay attention and always be safe.
Great time and good atmosphere. Drinks were good as well
The club was jumpin jumpin
My favorite place to be on the weekends w all my girls! The staff is so friendly and welcoming
It’s alright . I may say a low budget place crowded by kids
The management is horrible, the bouncers are disrespectful and especially the bartenders. Definitely not recommended and I was even charged extra for my drinks.
Not the best place to go for your first time going out to a club, the live music they had was not good to dance to. A lot of college students go here, fraternity guys mostly. Could have just been a bad night to go.
If your 20 go ahead. If your 27-30 think again.
Sleek and modern nightclub that focuses on customer service and experiences. Best place in Raleigh to celebrate any special occasion.
Nice little dance club scene is Raleigh, it has very nice vibes and makes a fun night with friends
Cool set up, Its like as close to a club as Dt Raleigh has to offer!
Sebastian makes the best shots in Raleigh.
Great club IF they didnt have such a stupid dress code. Seriously this place looks like Chilis so why cant men wear Jordans?
Maybe one of the best place to hangout and enjoy a drink and good electro. Fish bowl is the best drink at 8$ and if youre lucky, some frenchies will be there because of one of their business school is on the NCSU campus
Its fun but it should be more lit. Like more people, they need something to draw people in more.
I imagine its a great place if youre 21 but pretty boring for 18-20 year olds
It was my first time at this nightclub and I liked it a lot, it has a great music .. Only $5, entry charge
Best club experience in Raleigh with upstanding staff and management. I had the best 21st birthday experience.
Unfortunately Thursdays is ONLY for College students, will be nice if everyone has access.
Good drinks. Ok music
My go to club for a nice relaxing experience.
Paid $30 for a christmas bar crawl. They were CLOSED! Horrible business practice, do not reccomend
This is an energetic place to hangout on Thursday nights if you are 18+ in the summertime because in the winter time its literally dead. A good thing is that there isnt ay dress code unlike Solas, which is another place that is open on thursday but i dont recommend it. At still-life the entrance fee is only $5 and they play mostly rap and techno music. Sometimes towards the end of the night they play rock music. The fishbowls are very good and theres a lot of friendly people to meet, just be cautioned that if you ask for a song they probably wont play it.
If i could give 0 stars i would. The website is very misleading in the size of the venue. Very small and crowded. Will not be returning
Good one
Nice place for young adults or people with a lot of energy
Too many dudes, music terrible, girls weren’t tryna dance, dance floor small. But it was aii
Its an ok club. Music wasnt great when I went
Fun time with my friends
Not really diverse
Great drinks, great music, great times!
Nice for the younger people
SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!! DJ doesnt even know English....all music is retro......beat.... no words at all... all night! Waste of time. I take one day off a month for that. A joke.
Amazing time. Great VIP experience.
College crowd, anticipating more mature scene!
Good edm sometimes.
Crowded but a fun experience most of the time.
It wasn’t a good experience the music sucked so bad !!! It was small and crowded also my phone got stolen from here !!!! It was a horrible night all together
Thursdays usually very busy. Hit or miss on Friday / saturday.
Nice crowd & DJ.
