I had a good time. I like the social distancing because you sit with who you came with and not strangers. Its not too crowded and you can enjoy the show. It would be nice if the chairs were a little more comfortable.
My 1st time there. My brother had been a few times but he was very upset this time. The waitress came to our table once and said we owed her a $6 tip. He said that the times hes been there hes never had to do a 2 item minimum per person. He wanted to leave but we had driven 2 hrs to get there. The place was small but I liked it. We sat directly in front of the stage. The sound quality was good and the food was good. I could only give 3 stars because the service was off and my brother said that it was not like that before
We had a great night last night – out to see Brian Regan at Goodnights comedy club. I felt totally safe (meaning no danger of virus attacks!) And everyone was very socially conscious and had a great time just like we did. Great to be out again - having fun. We sure needed a laugh and Brian supplied many!!
Great show. They are practicing social distancing. Upon arrival your temperature is taken. Staff wear masks and gloves. Now its not so crowded which makes it a little more enjoyable
Great place and always a great show. I take girls on dates here all the time to compensate for me not being so funny.
Great experience. The staff were friendly and the show featured Earthquake which was pretty entertaining. I would give a five except the vegetarian options were non-existent and it was a tad cold.
I truly enjoyed the show. It was my Birthday and I laughed all night long. Coco Brown and Joe Joe the comedian had me crying so bad I like to lost my lash on one eye. It was truly needed after the burial of my Antie Carolyn. Rest Easy Antie...I always Love you!
Nice clean small club good food and great seats. Not a bad one in the house.
Im not gone yet trying to find the time but it looks pretty good and Ive heard a lot of good things about a from other friends full re-rate once I go
They truly enforce the social distancing rules!!!Clean and fun times at GoodnightsI miss the pack room and the energy from the crowd, but who wouldn’t love their personal comedian
We saw a great show that was made even better by the friendly and efficient staff.
Been here several times but Yamilla that was working will call is rude. I can go deep in to detail but I wont. She may need to work behind the scenes.
Great time with friends! Always love coming here!
I have tickets to the show on Sept. 12 me and a group of friends came from Greensboro nc. Got to the locations 45 minutes before the show to be informed by Yamella that there was no seating room and we could not enter even through I had a ticket.
Nice atmosphere. Right up next to your favorite comedian, the service was alright but the staff was very friendly and sympathetic.
Decent venue, convenient location, well made drinks. Cant attest to the food, only had pretzel bites which were hot, crispy and tasty. Easy to hear and see comedian, not too closely packed to other guests. Staff were friendly, server was great (woman named Alex, if I remember correctly). The only thing I wasnt fond of was having to wait outside when I purchased reserved tickets. If the seats are reserved why must we wait outside, why not let holders of reserved tickets be seated upon arrival? At any rate, overall enjoyable experience, will return.
I came here on open mic night to watch my first ever stand-up show. The main entrees down below were rather disappointing, but the appetizer options during the show were fantastic. As for event itself, it was really great. The audience was engaged and laughing, the people going up were charismatic and did their best, and the comics were friendly.
We went to the 2 item min, no cover open mic night on Tuesday after being invited by a friend. We were late, but still I was a bit shocked by the lack of hospitality.Upon arrival, I found myself in a greeting room with no greeter, two sets of stairs and sound from both places.Lucky for us, their was a group of performers out front who we were able to ask for directions. When we went into what seemed like the correct room, there was a gentleman at the door. Relieved to see a staff member, we waited. However, we were greeted with a, Yes? Having never been there, we were baffled by the idea that we were supposed to just know where to go and what to do, so I asked, Do we just sit anywhere? He gestured to a group of unused tables and says they are available. We find our seat, and are thankful that the service went up from there. Our waitress was excellent, I just wish we had that type of service from the start.
Great place for an up close experience. The key is to eat below so you dont have to wait like cattle before the show. The food below is also very good. Every waiter/waitress was efficient and friendly. People basically sit like assemblies here. So use the restroom before the show.
Club was empty and comedians complained about it on stage. The dj/sound guy was good though, and server was nice and not in the way.
I recently purchased tickets from goodnights comedy club to see the comedian Chris porter. The service charge and cost of the tickets were astronomical and the service charge was not made apparent until the purchase was confirmed and my card charged. The goodnights website said that due to covid, customers must show up at least one hour early to get seats with their party. So my party showed up one hour early to essentially bake in the hot sun until goodnights staff decided to open to doors 30 minutes before show time. We were very disappointed as we have been when attending shows previously at this lackluster venue. Chris porter was amazing though!
If they venue was larger I would give them 5 stars. My husband and I have many a great date nights at Goodnights Comedy Club. They have some great names coming through there. The food and service is good. The only bad comment I have is it is tight in there.
I had such a great time at this cozy comedy spor. Yes I mean very cozy so if you have a problem with being close with strangers then not the spot for you. Clearly I have no problems with it what so ever. The food was good but is pricey which was expected, drinks were pricey and full of juice which wasnt expected but truly I came for the laughs and they delivered. Oh and make sure you order everything you need at once because it takes a while to get your food and drinks.
My wife and I visited while we were in town ate dinner and caught the show. Dinner was good, server was very attentive. Show was 3 acts all were great. Would recommend!!!
Great venue for comedy. Up close and personal. Seating can be a little tight, but most folks are friendly and accommodating. 2 item minimum if you dont eat dinner at the club, but that seems pretty standard at comedy clubs these days too. If you arrive early enough, you can wait in the bar and get seated a little earlier than the outside line.
Really great space. Downstairs has a bar and full menu. Staff was super nice. Really fun vibe in the whole building. Upstairs has the stage and also has food served throughout the performance. Little tight as far as room went but it also made all of us feel like we were right next to the comic which was awesome. Well definitely be back.
Perfect date night spot!! Saw Lavell Crawford this weekend. Hilarious as always. Really enjoyed Isaiah Kelly!!Location is great, plenty of parking and the restaurant and bar look great. Must get there early if you plan to eat before your show. I will definitely return.
First time visiting Goodnights. The comedy acts were excellent. What soured the evening for us began in the restaurant. We ordered cilantro chicken tacos. The cilantro was dried from a jar most likely and barely noticeable. We asked for some fresh cilantro and were brought what seemed to be parsley. Not really sure. Then to top it off we were told that ice tea refills were not free. At $3.50 a glass I guess we should be happy. Again. Our evening of comedy was enjoyable but greatly diminished by our dining experience. We hope our criticism is taken into account for future customers. Sadly we will not be among them. Good luck.MS
Love most of the comedy just very crowded. Surprisingly, servers manage to get to you as well as any other casual dining venue. Pick the right style comedy for you & your group, plan on being very cozy & it is a great escape night out.
A bit small. Has tight seating against a window in the back. Needs updating on the inside. For the most part it was a great experience. Loved the comedy acts for the night. My wife and I looking like royalty on our anniversary night. Check out my twin as most people have said I look like. #Doppleganger
Jourdain Fisher oh my goodness he was soooo great! I loved his performance, he had me laughing way after the punch line. I am looking forward to his CD release. Thank you Goodnights for hosting such phenomenal talent!! I will certainly be back. Sending love from Greensboro
Awesome. Saw Ali Siddiq.
This place is great! Food is good. Waitress was on top of it. The only thing they could have done better is give the lady next to me a warning sooner. Half the show she was talking with her friend and laughing really loud when a joke wasnt told. She also kept bumping into me - I honestly think she had too much at the bar downstairs.
I reserved tickets for the show came 45 min out the way just to for them to be sold out! Im from Fayetteville nc
Comedy show was good. Bartender was great... waitresses not so much. We drove 2 hours for the show and since we won the Tix it was worth the drive. Service needs definite improvement...
Nice club. Easy to see and hear comic. Its not a fancy and extravagant set up but neat and clean. Good night out.
The show was wonderful, my friend and I had an amazing time. It was a birthday surprise for her and she had a ball. Will return soon. Oh and the cheesesteak egg rolls were the best.
Amazing customer service! John was great and helped me get an order corrected quickly. I thought the transaction was a lost cause but John made it right.
My first time there.... it was awesome. The food was good and the comedians were very funny. Really enjoyed myself
2 drink minimum is an 80s - 90s concept that is DIED! You should be able to enjoy the show without feeling like you are at a stripclub or male review. What if you do not drink alcohol? Buy $5 Cola or bottled water, am I at a professional sporting event?
Jon Reep was hilarious. Also the two comedians before him were great too. We really enjoyed the show. The price for shows like this are becoming less affordable. Between the price of the tickets and the required purchases at the show, we spent well over one hundred dollars. This was for two of us.
Great show! Just not a fan of the seating arrangement at this location. Didnt like having chairs turned away from the table to see the act.
Cool spot. I have not eaten there but drinks are good. Go early to get decent seats area is a bit small but you will be laughing too hard to care.
Good, intimate comedy spot. Prices are reasonable, but beware the minimum order amount if youre trying to keep costs down. If you dont eat before the show, youll get seated later, so just be aware if you want to be up close for a popular show. I wouldnt expect the food to be good, but thats not really what this place is for.
Fun place, tickets are reasonably priced. There is an expectation of a 2 item purchase, which is to be expected at a club as such. The comedian line up is great. I would suggest eating at the Factory to get the best seats during the show, just wished the menu was expanded some.
Great Club and staff is nice. My wife and I always have a great time. I highly recommend this spot!
We went for my sisters birthday. Best time ever! Hilariously funny! Time well spent! Worth every penny!
Great place for comedy. John Reep was hilarious. Great service and nice set up. Easy in and out Parking available also.
Good nights staff, service, food, drinks are great. Were never disappointed by any means. A must try is the cheesesteak egg rolls!
The comedy was GREAT, AMAZING, FANTASTIC etc. The service prior was subpar although the food was good. We ordered food and 3 drinks st the same time. Received food and 1 drink. Ate the food, drank the drink, well I drank,...When the server returned, empty handed, she asked if we were ready to pay ( show seating had begun) and the other 2 drinks were supposed to still be coming. Paid for everything and continued to wait. We finally went to the bar and they still werent made... 45 min after ordering. Requested a manager who looked at me like I had 3 heads after CALMLY explaining the situation, like I was insane for asking for the items i PAID to consume. Then...I lost it.The End.
Three great comics, unusual for openers to be that good. Food was good and hot. Drinks were prompt and cold. Kayla did a fine job.
Really enjoyed our time at the Anything Goes show on Saturday evening. Laid back, fun, and will most certainly give you an ab workout! Directions to get to the seats were a bit unclear but other than that it was super pleasant!
We went to the 730 show on Saturday.and had a fantastic time. The food at the restaurant was delicious and Desmond was an amazing waiter. He really hustled and made sure everyone was attended to and taken care of. Our food took a little longer than expected but he ensured that we had seats so we didnt have to rush. Extremely pleasant and helpful person. The show was great (Titus). The waitress in the show was a little rushed. We got our bill at 830 and the show did not end until 930. Drinks are a little pricey but that is kind of expected. With that many people in the crowded showroom it would be nice if they would turn the ac down. By the end of the show it was hot. All in all a great night.
Great place, social distance used.
Ive been coming to Goodnights for years and never had issues. This time I was disturbed by the waitresses EXTREMELY rude behavior, demanding tips for bare minimum service & constantly interrupting the main act which is why we were there. The talent is always great but the food staff & the nickel & diming this establishment is doing will now cause me to think twice when acts come here. Theres other comedy clubs popping up more & more in the RDU area & Goodnights should consider all these review sentiments vs. dismissing them as they are not the only choice in town anymore. Sad to see the quality change so much.
The show was amazing, probably one of the best shows I’ve been to in a while. Reason I gave it 3 stars is because I felt I was being nickel and dimed though-out the whole process, $20 fee for buying tickets doesn’t matter if it’s online it in person, 2 order minimum per person, $4 waters, $15 sandwich’s and the list goes on and on.
Great atmosphere, courteous front and back management. The food is delicious and decently priced. This is my favorite place to go, reminds me of intimate jazz and comedy shows in New York .
Small and quaint. I took my date. There for the comics against Humanity set
We made reservations for dinner thinking that since the two drink minimum would be waived and we would get priority seating it would be worth it. IT WAS! The food was pretty good and the prices reasonable. We would recommend the Mediterranean platter, the bread and humas were great. Beers were about $6.50 for a pint and they had a small selection of craft beers on tap. Be sure and get to the restaurant at least 2 hours before show time, or you will be rushed. The show was the best part, funny and ran at a good pace, and we did get good seats.
Arrived at the club and went downstairs to the bar and dinner area to order some food before the show. Was told the kitchen was closed and we could order food when we went upstairs to the club. However, there was a group that arrived after us and was able to order food and drinks. Went back to the hostess to get menus to order food. Again I was told the kitchen was closed and that we could order food upstairs in the club. Im still confused as to how people could come in after us and was still able to order drinks and food but we couldnt and had to wait till our show started to order. #confused
Good price and a good time. Each comic offers a new experience. Will return.
The food, The service, And the show were all very good. The building could Use some updating. The Stair ways are somewhat Challenging especially if you have been drinking.
Hilarious comedy and great service. Highly recommend for a good night out with laughs
Always fun. Laughter is the best medicine. Always a great time.
Although its a little tight in the seating area, Goodnights is still good fun. I enjoyed the show.
The comedians were hilarious. I hate the 2 item per person minimum, but thats common with the local comedy clubs. The food that I was forced to buy was good although I wasnt hungry and didnt want to eat while laughing. The food came out quickly. One critique would be that the servers should be mindful that the space is cramped and should learn to kneel instead of bending over. What I dont want is tail in my face as theyre taking other peoples orders.
I have been going here for many years. It is a perfect location to catch your favorite comics as well as see some very funny and promising up and coming talent. It also has a nice restaurant in the lower level which Ive dined several times. Be sure to get a good drink there before (or during) the show. I have yet to figure out how to get the elusive front row seats but try to get there early.
Best comedy club in the city. Always the best headliners and comedians around.
Really fun experience, had a great time. We attended the Brad Williams show and it was hilarious. It was not well organized and very pricey on top of that. A yuengling costed $5.50, we buy 12 pack of yuengling for $12 dollars. The show itself was $25 each, but then they tack on an extra $5 service charge each. Theres no way avoid the service charge either. Then moving from the factory to the show was moving 100 people up a single stairway. However, it was a lot of fun. It would definitely be a common trip if it costed less. Once in the show room everything got much more organized and relaxing. All the staff was friendly as well. Highly recommended, just be prepared spend some money.
Lots of fun. Got there early had a great meal. Wish there were more entries, but had enough for me to find a good meal before the show.
Nice place the comedy was pretty good the food is all right a bit on the pricey side for what you get if youre going to go to the show do dinner first then the show
There are some great comedians and the servers really work hard to take care of everyone. My only complaint is how packed in we were. I literally ate on my lap because the table was so small for 4 people, and theres not a good way to get to the ladies room without disturbing everyone in the middle of a show. It was a special event, so perhaps its not typically that tight. Overall we had fun, though.
Small, intimate spot. Very welcoming. Drinks and food prices are a little expensive but a great time for date night or group hangout
We had an amazing date night last night! Laughing together is always the best medicine and Goodnights had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard.
They bring great comedians. My husband and I have visited a few times. The only reason it doesnt have a 5 star is the seating. I wish they could re-do it, at times you cant see because of the person in front of you. The spacing is absolutely terrible at times. I literally kept touching the person beside me. We were packed in there like sardines.
The comedy and the food was great! The fact that you cant get free refills on non alcoholic beverages and they charge the same thing for water ($3.50) is a little much; but everything else was well priced.
Fun comedy club that gets some great comedians. Drinks are a little pricy, but not unreasonable.
Went there for the first time last night and had a blast. Nice venue. Very clean. Friendly employees. The food was good too. They ask everyone to wait in their basement bar before the show but I couldnt stay down there long because it felt claustrophobic.
I feel constantly gouged there but many of my favorite comics perform there so what are ya gonna do?
Always a great night out.
It was fun but the show was not very long. Food was just ok. And some of the audience were annoying!
Always have a good laugh when I come here! Friendly and helpful host, waitresses and staff! I would absolutely recommend this comedy club to anyone.
We went the day after Valentines day. The comedian was from NY and it was a great show. The drink was good but there was hardly any liquor. This place is closed to a lot of great restaurants.
I love this place just not the waiters. The waiters now are really nit that friendly nor attentive. They are not familiar with the policy and make up stuff as they go. The menu changed where they now dont offer buffalo wings. The buffalo bites are horrible. My chicken Gyro was pretty good. A bit salty and chicken overcooked but ok
Great atmosphere! Server Kayla was sweet, Thanks!
