This place is absolutely beautiful!!! There are lots of trails and a place to fish. There are picnic tables and benches in so many random places, but its nice to know there will be a place to sit close by no matter where you are. There are a couple of pavilions for gatherings. There is a lot of information posted all around about the surroundings so that you know what you are looking at and what to expect. I didnt get a chance to check out the cave yet. Please donate to them in the donation box if you come to visist!

A very pretty park located in one of the worst sections of Hardin County. This place is well maintained and has great MTB trails, however residents from local Radcliff frequent here as well. Last time we were there we seen a group of people passing around weed with their children playing right next to them. If you do go, bring a friend for safety and make sure to lock up your car before heading out on a trail.

Beautiful, clean. Plenty of trails that are simple and cleared, fishing, ice cold water for swimming. Shelters for parties, grills, plenty of shade. Multi parking areas. The road there is narrow with a few blind corners, so use caution and watch for small children!! Definitely worth the trip!! And best of all its free!! **Please note that due to the heavy rain, part of this area is closed to motor vehicles until it can be safely reopened to the public. You are able to park at the top and walk down but please be careful with small children as the water is very rough in some parts and high in others.**

This hiking trail is one of the most scenic in the area! There are two lakes, and there are tons of trail to walk. Due to the elevation 1 mile of walking is a great workout. It’s a beautiful area with picnic benches and tables, family friendly, pet friendly, and just an awesome place to visit near Fort Knox! Highly recommended.

Plenty of hiking trails, mountain biking track and interesting history with the natural spring. Is a great way to cool off in the summer. Open from dawn until dusk everyday. Bathroom facilities are all closed due to COVID concerns.

My family loves the trails, the views are amazing, and I love going here during the fall. My kids live taking a dip in the creek too. Its cold but refreshing.

Beautiful, quiet, pristine escape. Plenty of tables with seats that are socially distanced. Cooler when hot outside. I did not go to the bottom, just to the Welcome Center area. The downside is that the restrooms and info center are closed due to COVID restrictions.A wonderful place to visit frequently!

Literally one of my favorite parks of all time. Ive been going here for years. Beautiful trails and just a lovely, cool spot. Also, perfect for wading, creek walking and paddling. Definitely recommend water shoes but most people are respectful and take their trash with them. Lots of big flat shale rocks to just sit on.

This a super cool place to explore. Lots of trails. Waterfalls and creeks run throughout the area. Free to get in, limited parking, and there are restrooms available, although they are closed right now due to Covid-19. There are a number of wooden steps on the trails. The trails are kid friendly, just be prepared to walk a number of steps. Recommend this park for an afternoon of exploring.

Today we celebrated my daughters baby shower at the park. It was a good place and the pavilion was only 26 $$ for the day. Six years ago my husband and I been to Saunders the first time and we love to go there ever since.

We loved it. Went hiking for a while and got super hot before we went to see the springs. The kids got in the water multiple times and loved to splash around. I would recommend going after a rain or in the spring season. Was worth the trip.

I cant spend enough time here. This park is beautiful. If you live in the area it is well worth a visit. There are several areas for gatherings under shelters. My boys love waling out into the cool spring on hot summer days. There are abundant picnic tables available for use around the park. In warmer weather the park can become a little crowded, especially around the main areas. The road leading down is a little sketchy. You need to use caution because it is narrow and can be difficult to see traffic moving in the other direction. There are lots of fun trails to walk and a beautiful lake with a trail around it. If you have limited mobility you will probably find that at least half the park is difficult to access. You will probably also note that several of the areas need some work. Some of the stairs on the trails are in bad need of repair even bordering on dangerous (pieces of rebar jutting out). Because of the maintenance issues I rated Saunders Springs down a star but I still recommend it.

I was super surprised and impressed with how cool this area was. The trails seemed short but well marked. We went on a Sunday and it was a little busy but their were a ton of different spots to get to the water so it was still enjoyable. Its free to get in and open dawn to dusk.

I love bring my family here for a good day away. I also love it for photography sessions with clients.

Great place to hike, fish, or just picnic with friends and family. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because of the trash in and around the reservoir. There are garbage cans around the area yet trash still finds its aay into the water and along the trails.

Great place to walk or take family

The place is awesome they have so many well tended trails and signs all over the place to guide you. It would be a great place to take your kids and even your dog ( must remain on a leash at all times) park rules. The place would also be a place were couples could go on a romantic picnic or other extra curricular activities as adults do. I give it 5 stars because its that nice of a place.

We Love coming here as a family. On a hot day this place is always cool. I think the springs help keep the area cooked down. Great for hiking, fishing and playing in the creeks.

Very nice and relaxing, unfortunately the rain put a little damper on things but we plan on going back soon and spending more time. We highly recommend it.

You can take a peak of this small treasure when you’re driving towards Fort Knox Army Base. It’s very deceiving, looks small from a far but it’s actually a lot more to see than it portrays. The place lives up to its name. The nature of it all is preserved very well. There were streams and small water falls! There is no charge/fee to enjoy this nature! Loved it!

This is our favorite spot for weekend hikes. In summer many locals come here to cool off wading in the Springs. This place is maintained well and cleaned up every week. To bad visitors leave trash especially around the Pavillon areas .

Great place to walk, run or jog. Amazing views of wildlife and scenery! Soany different paths you can take and end up at the same place. It has parking and is great for everyone including pets!

The place is beautiful. Waterfalls, spring water to wade in. Kids swimming in spring water. Old 1800 cabins. Nature trails, caves. Plenty of picnic tables, grills.

We had my grand-daughters birthday party here. The kids had a great time! I loved this park and will definitely be back.

We spent two hours on the nature hiking trails before heading in the opposite direction to cool off in the, cold as ice, spring fed waterfall and stream. Extremely beautiful!

During a 2 week training mission I attended at Fort Knox I found this gem of a springs tucked away just waiting to be found. There are a lot of trail options for every fitness level and you can access everything fairly easy.The basis of this springs is a water plant. There is a reservoir that holds the water and a few small falls and a river that run through it. The trail is very clearly marked and there are very detailed signs at each intersection describing the options and the terrain for each way. Its up to you to decide!The stairs that are built into the side of the slope to get you down into the gorge are very steep. There are also some steps that have the steel stakes sticking up OVER the top of the step. CAREFUL! Watch your step and you will be fine.This place is gorgeous! Not to packed either. There are benches and covered tables throughout in case you want to stop for lunch that you may have brought with you. Overall a gorgeous place to visit and a perfect place for photo sessions

Absolute gem of a park right in the middle of Radcliff. Beautiful trails, scenery, picnicking areas, and great place to take the kids to play in the creek!

Gods beauty is abundant here. The trails were clearly marked. Picnic areas and grills clean. Parking areas were nice and the roads were smooth driving through. The cabins have signs in front with their history. A perfect place to visit.

Great park to explore. Many trails although they are generally climbing out of a valley or into a valley; many stairs. Beautiful place right in town. There is also about 11 miles of Mountain bike trails on the upper side of the park. They are very well maintained and continually being updated. They are different than the average trail in that they wrap back on themselves frequently it can be frustrating and confusing if your not aware the first time. Please respect the signage after rain or melting snow there may be closed trails.

Had a blast here today! Lots of trails to explore with beautiful views all around. This is a very family friendly area, tons of fun for the whole family. If youre feeling cooped up and tired of staring into a TV or tablet, go here and get back into nature. Bring a towel and hop into one of the creeks to cool off after a short hike, and a fun day.

This place is incredible. The trails are awesome, the mountain bike training yard is awesome, the water is awesome. I know Im not being very creative here, but I really cant give this place enough praise.

This is a great place for biking and hiking. They have several trails for beginners to advanced. Picnic shelters and bathrooms are available throughout the park. Its a nice place to go birding as well. Kids of all ages typically enjoy this park. Some trails have several stairs to climb and some are paved. Be careful driving around the park, steep hills and tight turns.

This place is beautiful. Its a great setting for professional photography . We had pictures of our granddaughter taken here and they were wonderful. Its very quiet and peaceful and the cabins are fun to check out.
