The Wisconsin watercolor show is beautiful. The paintings are so nicely displayed so one can step back to appreciate them. Such talent!

The gift shop had more items than the actual museum. The exhibits were nice and fun, but it felt I paid too much for what is easily a thirty minute trip.

There seemed to be room for more exhibits. If this is one of the largest collections of arts and crafts most of it must be in storage in a large warehouse.

Personally I loved it there. All the exhibits are far enough apart that you can take them in individually, and not so far that it seems sparse. I brought my kids (4+8). They thought it was cool but Id take them to the childrens art museum in racine, if we go again soon.

I havent actually toured the museum, which looks quite nice - but visited the museum shop. It is beautifully stocked with contemporary craft jewelry, ceramics and other quality, hand-crafted items. There are also books and cards, plus knick-knacks, like clever napkins, tableware and scarves. The stores buyer obviously has a great eye and an excellent list of artisans - both local and farther afield. Well worth a stop!

Great pottery and exhibits my grandkids loved the earthenware and use what you have art work.

We took our grandkids to see the Peeps exhibit. It was awesome. The creativity was off the chart. Of course, everyone voted for their favorite.

Always fabulous displays. I never tire of seeing the new exhibits. Plus, do yourself a favor and visit the Museum Store. Lots of quirky fabulous items for sale. I truly love this place :-)

I really enjoy seeing the different exhibits. I go about once or twice a year and each time I see something different.

Very unique collection of paintings, photographs, ceramic, and jewelery art. Well curated. Gift shop was also unique. I spent about two hours there. Street parking was free and very easy. There is also a parking garage nearby.

As a lifelong Racine native, I love having little treasures right in our own backyard. I loved their recent Enamels and Goblets exhibits.

Mostly modern art of youre into that...very quiet place to go stroll around.

They had a pretty good book sale. Two dollars per book.

We went to see the Peeps show. It was well done and fun.

Its a nice little museum. Good to visit on quiet days. Most of the collection seems to have come from a single donor. Maybe in the future theyll add in more local or locally restored art.

When you join you also get reciprocal benefits at other art museums around the country. Always great items on display here and at Wustum.

Worth the short ride to Racine from Chicago or Milwaukee. The fiber arts exhibitions are spectacular!

A true gem in our Downtown.

I have Visited the Racine Art Museum on several occasions, I really loved the Always friendly staff & New Pieces on display very nice place for Racine to have right Downtown close to the lake and Monument Square where a lot of Exciting & Excellent things happen, Music on the Monument is the first Friday of the summer events in cooperation with the RAM and all of our business in the area always join in and have special events along with their favorite music and food and drink specials!

The best fine craft museum in the midwest. Yes, I guess Im bragging. Ive been a RAM member for a number of years. I enjoyed their fine polymer show several years ago. They always have interesting multiple exhibits. And now free first Fridays usually with activitiesfor the kids. AND, dont miss the spring PEEPS art show. Its wonderful to see what artists, kids, and groups come up with using many colors of the marshmallow Peeps. Anyone can enter, but limited engagement due to their limited shelf life especially if painted. Lol.

Great place!

The Racine Art Museum (RAM) is a beautiful small museum in downtown Racine.........a 30 minute drive from the Milwaukee airport.........the same distance from Chicagos Northern Suburbs as a drive to the Chicago Art Institute on a weekend day.The focus is the Studio Craft Movement..........art made from glass, clay, fibers and metals (think jewelry) and RAM is the best and most important of this kind in the USA....possibly anywhere.Check the website, see what shows are up and go for a visit.Not to forget, a great retail operation as well.

Fun place to visit

Im always blown away by the caliber of the exhibits for such a small admission charge. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and the store is just fantastic! RAM is honestly one of my favorite things about downtown Racine.

A really nice museum for Racine, youll get about an hours worth of enjoyment out of it.

Serene and beautiful

The Racine Art Museum is a work of art in itself, a modern landmark. The unique museum maintains collections of modern art and contemporary crafts. The chair exhibit was fantastic!I highly recommend a stop over whether en route to or from Milwaukee or Chicago.

They do cool activities for kids. I dont find the collections interesting but I am not super into art museums so it would be hard to impress me.

Five stars for an inspiring and fun visit to RAM. The wife and I visited right before Christmas and we were treated to a wide variety of surprises: festive holiday decor, an incredible glass exhibit, a found / recycled materials exhibit, repurposed wood / furniture, textiles, household crafts, et cetera. The list goes on. Local and global artists alike. And all in a beautiful space and in a beautiful location along Lake Michigan in downtown Racine. Wustum Art Museum (free admission) is in another part of town and also worth checking out.Check ahead of time for hours and for the hours of other nearby attractions so that your day goes smooth.
