Ive practically raised my daughter, here, since she was real little and weve always loved it! It was nothing for us to spend 6-7 hours, here, a day! We even met our best friends, here, a couple years ago and still keep in touch with them; quite often! Sadly, though, i was told by a staff member in August that you were going out of business that weekend. Are you still open? If so, well gladly come back in heartbeat!
Good place to go. We had a granddaughter s birthday party there. We had our grandson s birthday party yesterday. We be back sometime. Thanks again. The people was nice and friendly. The place was really clean.
We had a great time in the arcade!! The cleanliness, staff & food were all Great!!
Great customer service!! Friendly staff! Wonderful way to spend the day
Planned my youngest daughters first birthday party. We did a head count the day before indicating around 13 children would be in attendance. We were wrong. We had 21 children in total (and just as many adults). The Bonkers staff took the surprise with elegance. Our party planner Lauren was a fantastic problem solver. She was so helpful along the way, even after seeing our numbers double! It was a great “stress free birthday”! Thank you Lauren and all of the Bonkers staff!
My children absolutely love this place. I have a 4 year old and a 3 year old and they are always asking to go to Bonkers. We make it a special trip usually every other week due to a 30 minute drive.
This is a great place to let kids run and play. We had a little birthday party here and they let us bring in our own cake and decorations.
We just went stopped in for a BBQ Chicken Pizza, and it was so tasty! We especially enjoyed the homemade crust. It was amazing! Friendly service, and always a great experience. My husband and I usually just stop in for lunch. Never a bad meal!
Fun place. We really wish they would have left all the tunnels but the kids had fun.
Great time and place for my 2 yr old g-babies birthday party, even my teenagers had a blast.
It was falling apart. Straps broken and tied together
We absolutely LOVE Bonkers!! We just went again and are never disappointed. My hometown is about 45 minutes away, but we currently live out of state for military. We come home to visit frequently and we ALWAYS go to Bonkers! I went there as a child and now I get to bring my kids! My daughter just turned 3 last month and shes loved this place for a couple years now! There is something for all ages! I also have a 1 year old that loves going down the slide with mommy and crawling all over the enclosed toddler area. The cost of admission is SUPER inexpensive. The food is also amazing and very inexpensive as well. Manager is super friendly!
Love the new play area! Clean and family friendly! Great way to burn energy on cold winter days!
Kids had fun playing. We ordered 3 burgers, which was all burnt bad.. we sent them back and was told it would be awhile because they were backed up, we already waited 30mins. The first time... The second time was another 30mins.. I understand places get busy but its a kids place, could use extra staffing on weekends. Other food was good
Great place for the kids to play, but we will probably not be back after today at least for a while. We had to wait over 5 minutes for them to come open the handicap/infant changing room and it took well over an hour for our food. Honestly, they seemed way understaffed for a Saturday afternoon. Everything seemed to be in slow motion when it came to staff except for one gentleman who I would guess was either a manager or owner or something.
We ordered a pizza as soon as we got there. They never made the pizza... Even though it was paid for. By the time I brought it to their attention by asking where it was... And it was made... It was time to go. I was there visiting with my kids. I only see them once a week RN... So the fact they couldnt eat bc my order somehow was lost... Weighed negatively on our visit.
This place used to be awesome to bring kids... Now just more about how much money you can spend in games. They cut the climbing equipment by more than half so could put even more games in...
Im 15 and I love it more than the 4 year olds
It has changed so much all my kids enjoyed it then someone took most of play area out it is now a overpriced arcade more fun for 10 and under kids
Its a excellent place to take the kids and let them play
Great place for kids. Wi-Fi and a quiet room for the adults.
Kids had a great time. Seating for adults was nice.
Brought my 2 year old for the first time today and was horrified at what I experienced inside. We didn’t know if we needed to pay beforehand or how the place operated so we stood at the counter and waited for someone to help us. She was alone and busy with some people. We finally interrupted to ask her what we were supposed to do, she said we didn’t need to pay to use the Toddler area and we could just go up. We went upstairs, took off my kid’s shoes and walked inside the room and the first thing we found on the foam mat was a sharp pin! It could have gone through someone’s foot or worse, swallowed by a little one! Even if we disregarded that, the room itself was a miserable excuse for a play room. There were 3 pieces of equipment in there with two merry-go-rounds that kept revolving and did not stop at all. There was no way for a toddler to climb up or get off independently. No climbing structure whatsoever for an active toddler to practice his gross motor skills and there wasn’t even the most basic ball pit! My 2 year old was bored after a few minutes. We left soon after and we wanted to notify someone about the pin but no one was available. This was a Sunday so I guess they didn’t expect anyone there and thus did not staff the place appropriately? I don’t know. We just threw the pin away and I doubt we will ever return. Sorely disappointed.
Always come later in the day for my son due to time finishing work late. The Facilities are nice and reasonably clean but the employees seem like they just want to go home. At one point i tried to order food and they said they would have to start everything back up. I can understand preparing to go home but really this shouldn’t be done until after close. Visiting at the time i do i just get scathing looks from the employees, like please just go home so we can get home early.
Kids had a good time
Very clean and friendly environment. Fun for all ages and the new toddler town area is great for little ones. Great place to eat and play!
Great place for all ages and cant beat the price.... drove from Springfield to have my sons 2nd birthday party here and had a blast!
Overall this is a large fun affordable place to bring children of many ages. We did however in the three and half hours we spent here for the first time experienced some bullies and several adults and children that didnt follow the rules of the establishment. Some of my children and others were hit in the face with some of the equipment in the tunnels by older children and an adult. Why a male adult would hit a little girl in the face twice baffles me. She also happens to have epilepsy and often when she does, I have to perform CPR on her. I did address it to one of the employees and they kept an eye on the male and other boys. In the toddler town I witnessed several older children playing on the equipment even though its for toddlers. My one year old did get ran into several times by children who were not toddlers. There were adults and children that were either barefoot or wore shoes, not socks. We did have to wait an hour for food. Which we prepared for that. However when our pager went off and we received our food, it was room temperature. One of the employees let me know they were short handed but Im not the first person thats left a review that their food is cold. i did also recommend that they get security for their business. Most of the adults do not watch their children or care. Also in the toddler fun town, the floor is buckling in several places and needs redone. Its a tripping hazard. One of the outlet covers are broken off too. When children besides toddlers get on the toddler activities the motor roars. They are too heavy. If you want to keep that equipment in good shape I would highly recommend putting up security cameras and hiring some good security not only for toddler town but for the entire establishment. Had my daughter been severally injured that would have been a lawsuit you wouldnt want against you. Your employees on 9/14/19 were respectful and kind as my family was too. You are short handed and need more employees. I hope my review is helpful to others and the owner and manager takes my advise. I would like to bring my family back and have a better experience.
This place is amazing for the kids. But since they have changed owners the quality of the food has gone downhill and it is not good at all anymore. The staff is also very impatient when it comes to dealing with kids. The play area is smaller and in turn makes the play area too crowded.
I am BEYOND impressed with the Going Bonkers staff in Quincy, IL. Staff went out of their way to get me to the right person so that I may request something for parents that tragically lost their 2-year-old daughter 2 weeks prior. I spoke to managers in a timely manner and my request was turned into a gift. Thank you Going Bonkers (Quincy, IL) staff for your kindness and generosity.
Kids love it, I love it, and the food is good. Now even serving beer to adults. :)
Went for my sons birthday party, all the kids had a great time and the staff was excellent. Will definitely be a favorite for our family when we need something for the kids to do.
Whats not to love! Truly fun for ALL ages! Had a BLAST and will be returning Again and Again!
This place really lacks security. What is the point of armbands for the kids and their guardian when the staff are too lazy and never bother to check them? The last THREE times I have been there with my toddler, no one was guarding the exit doors and no one checked our bracelet upon leaving. Great place to have your child abducted!
This place has removed much of the climbing attraction over the years. Too many games that require a game card($$) to play. They do serve beer for parents to help numb the volume of screaming children. If you want something to with your kids, its something to do that wont break the bank but make sure you have some money with you!
Loud and active, the kids loved it.
I applied and im qualified they interviewed me but didnt give me a job because i had committed o crime 12 years ago people make mistakes all the time but you missed out on a good worker and it couldnt be im not experienced cause i got too many certifacations and im not a sex offender i sold drugs did my time going to college still in college and about to achieve my bachelors degree i just wonder if why you didnt hire me could be a racial issue or i got stereotyped
We had my sons birthday party here. The arcade games kept malfunctioning and stealing our credits, not working, double charging or not giving us tickets. We spent a good amount if time waiting on the (very busy) tech guy to fix our issues with that. They also cost what seemed like an excessive amount of tokens per play. The staff were a little disorganized and seemed inexperienced.Seems like this place doesnt have the money to fix their tech issues or to give their employees proper training. We will go to Scotties fun spot next time we seek this sort of outing.
Its a nice little place fun games and lots of food choices. Cheap if you just do the jungle gym part
Friendly staff, clean and safe play area and arcade area. The only reason I am docking a star is because the toilets were a little messy and no one seemed to be checking on them. They were not busy when I was there.
Me and my dad brought my little brother and he had the best time ever. And the burgers were amazing . Thanks to Lauren!!!!!!
My boys love it here! Family fun for all ages! ️
Fun place for kids and adulta to play. Very safe environment. And fair on prices. I highly recommend making a day out of this place
Bonkers has really gone downhill both quality and pricewise since i was a kid.
A great place for a kids and family alike to have birthday parties and just go out and enjoy themselves
Fun experience but found they usually seem to be understaffed. Food order may take a while to get to you because counter staff dont realize its ready. During parties when theres an increased number of children playing, they arent always able to monitor and correct misuse of the equipment when little ones and not-so little ones get a bit out of control.
I liked being able to let my kid run around, but I feel like the remodel took away more play area than anything else.
Great cheap place for kids and adults to have fun
This was once a great place to take your children to.. a place where money wasnt everything and now they are trying to compete with scotties
Was an amazing experience as usual though some of the games kept breaking and did give you your moneys worth but thats how their made all the other games were great though food and drink are worth the price and last but not the least the ladys were super feiendly and nice working there.
Great entertainment center for children
Today seemed like an off day for the staff as Ive visited this establishment before. Some of the games didnt work properly or at all. Food took a while. Was there by ourselves.
Boys love It
Awesome place for young kids
Indoor multi-level climbing structure. Fun for kids of any age (adults can climb around in it too). Great place to take the kids on days when the weather is to bad to be outside. Admission prices are very reasonable (cost us $12 for 2 adults and 3 kids) children under 2 are free. Their little food court is what impressed me. The prices of food are comparable to any fast food joint (kids meals even come with a little toy) but the quality of food is SO much better. They have a good variety and plenty of options on their meals. There is also an arcade upstairs (tokens only but they run specials on them (currently 100 tokens for $20)) with lots of ticket winning games. Might sound a little silly but the ticket cost on prizes is a bit better than other places around town. They also have birthday party rooms, offer 3 month and 6 month passes, even offer little things you might have forgot or ran out of (like socks for $1.29 or a diaper for $.50). Ive been in Quincy for 5 years now and this is the first time Ive Gone Bonkers. We will be going back regularly especially come winter time when we all are getting cabin fever. Check it out it is well worth the money
A pretty solid place to take kids for a few hours of fairly inexpensive entertainment.
A pizza took over an hour and there was only one other person with 2 toddlers there.. Too expensive and half the games don’t work...
Its a great family place and the price is super affordable. Kids have fun for hours while you secretly have fun playing arcade games
It is affordable and the toddler room is great. My toddlers love it.
The place gave me the creeps. It has loud music, its too dark and claustrophobic. My kids came out like addicted gamblers. They wanted more and more money to be able to play in the machines.
Their ticket takers kept breaking down. And they needed more people at the counter to help.
This place was so much fun! My kids had a BLAST and so did I!! A couple of the arcade games didnt work properly and it was difficult to find someone to rectify it but it was crazy busy so totally understandable. Over all, an excellent visit!!
If you are going here to let your kids run around and lose some of there energy then this is a good place to bring your kiddos. The play area was clean and ran from one wall to the other wall. Upstairs is a toddler room where there are two carrasels for your little ones to enjoy. However there are games everywhere. They are over priced on the games. The games cover almost the entire upstairs and cover almost the entire downstairs as well. The food is over priced and greasy but the staff is very nice and pleasant. Over all my experience here was nice and my only dissapointment was that the games had taken over almost the entire area.
What a fun place for the whole family! We visited for the first time. My immediate concern was cleanliness of a facility like this, but they have a great cleaning system to ensure no major issues.(see attached picture for details). The arcades are wiped down regualarly from what I observed. There are bathrooms on both floors of the place and they were clean as well. Costs: You purchase play cards for the arcades. The games cost anywhere from 2 - 8 tokens. You can purchase a single ticket for about $6 per child and adults were $1.50 (but only if you want to climb too)! Food: They offer pizza (15.99 or less), sandwiches ($3-4), drinks (up to $2.39), and kids meals ($5 +/-). The dessert include cookies, ice cream, and funnel cakes (around $3 -5). There was a quiet room in the upper center, Free wifi, and party rooms, which were small but fun and clean. Atmosphere: It is upbeat and friendly, secure, and the music was kid friendly from radio Disney. I wonder if they have a Christian music night for area churches and family! The toddler play area was not well monitored however, so if you have little ones, watch them closely. I am watching for deals to come back at a later date.
The kids loved it. The food was delicious. And the lady named Ashley came around checking on us several times making sure our experience was a good one. Way to go bonkers ! #funday #yummyfood #ashleyrocks
Not near as fun for older kids as it used to be due to being smaller after remodel And a larger toddler play area
It was ok they could have more things to do for adults but my kids and their friends seem to have a great time
They wasnt ready for a birthday party I had booked two months in advance. Half of the arcade games didnt.
Very affordable. My kids used to love coming here (10, 4, 3, 1) but.......today we found out they took the two slides away and a huge chunk of the play area; the only reason we come. And I saw the disappointment in my 10, 4, and 3 year old. They still had some fun. But the age that Bonkers is gearing towards will probably max out about 4-5 yrs old max. Hopefully they deliver the changes they’re making. Staff was all really nice and very helpful.
Great atmosphere and fabulous food!!!
Wow what a deal! My son (age 5) and daughter (age 2) both LOVED it! I had fun too and Im 35. There are slides and tubes and all kinds of obstacles to entertain you or you kids. I loved it there and wish we had one where I live!
Was excited to bring my grandchildren back to Bonkers. Heard they had updated the business. The outside was newly painted with bright colors. Was very inviting. Got inside noticed they had decreased the playground. Added more playing machines. Wasnt pleased with that. Would rather see children running, jumping, climbing, sliding getting physical interaction. Did play couple of the machines they werent working properly. Tickets didnt come out and or the machines wasnt working correctly. The staff was very helpful and pleasant.
Before people start bashing bonkers for paw patrol not showing up how about thank them for your refund, your play card, your drinks, pizza, and your smiling kids...I know my kids got more and did more than a normal trip to bonkers...So im saying thank you Bonkers and im sorry for what inconvenience this was for you..
I took my granddaughter to Bonkers for the first time and she had a wonderful time. I would recommend Bonkers. kids have a blast there.
Great place for kids and great food.
Awesome arcade! Fun for my kids
Its really expensive. I didnt get to play a lot of games
Took my kid there even i had a blast playing arcade games getting prizes just fun.
Nice place, their ticket stations need some work
Love that my 1 year old gets in free
Nice insure playground. Good prices reasonable. Not trying to gouge...
Great place for Birthday Parties and general fun.
Not trying to be a hater and they were in the middle of a renovation but it was sort of lame. McDonalds playground on steroids minus the good food. Although my stepdaughter enjoyed herself
My grandkids love going there. U can bring it own drinks & snacks not like most other places. Great place 2 have birthday parties.
I am editing my review to take it down from five stars to three. Unfortunately recently they made a number of changes to the facility that in my opinion make it not as fun or as great of an option for families with kids of a variety of ages anymore. They took out a portion of the play area, brought a bunch of games downstairs so theyre more visible and accessible to kids, upped prices on all the games and moved to a card token system (like Scotties Fun Spot). They turned the enclosed parent area upstairs into a toddler room, which is nice but it means that if you have children playing downstairs you cant get to them as easily. All in all Im no longer pleased with the facility. In their panic to try to go toe to toe with Scotties, theyve lost all the great points that made them a better choice for parents of younger kids.
Great atmosphere, food, and service!
Its fun but very expensive, unless all you take prt in is the jungle gym... Which is limited in excitement after the first few go arounds. Definitely take at least $100 for one child to eat and play, 2 adults to eat aswell.
So nice to sit back while the kids run off their energy
Kids enjoyed themselves. Great service! There were many teenagers working but they were helpful and polite!
My kids love it. Wish there was more climbing options for smaller kids.
Good place for kids to burn energy. 5 kids cost $30. Place is packed durring this visit. The whole place has a funky stale smell. Quiet room is a perk
