I love to go to Michaels. I love when they have sales on their semi precious gemstones.

Had a great time. Saved a few bucks with the coupons they offered online. Found some really hard to find yarn and customer service was above and beyond my expectations. Clean, neat, organized, well stocked, easy to navigate the store layout and I felt safe.

The associates were very helpful and using my phone I found a coupon for 25 % off my entire purchase! How cool is that?

The South Hill Michaels is well located and has lots of parking. The store is well organized and clean overall. It can be challenging to find a staff member for assistance and sometimes the store could use tidying up.

Lots of craft supplies....so much fun to look around

We are new to the area and I was excited to find out we are only five miles away from a Michaels store. I found the store to be very open and spacious, even with a nice continuous flow of customers. I love how well stocked and clean the store was. I was especially impressed with the planner and sticker section, which usually looks like a war zone at most Michaels stores Ive been to. This store has a very large selection of planners and stickers- a planner addicts dream! I already know that I will be a regular customer at this location.

Fun visit but hold onto your wallet cause they have so much stuff... Stay disciplined!

Im a tall guy so the stuff on higher shelves is easy for me to reach. I grabbed a small straw bale off a shelf not knowing there were heavy glass pumpkins sitting on top which were not visible. I caught one on my face which split my forehead. We were told they were display only items. I went to the bathroom to clean my forehead and check the bleeding only to find the paper towels were laying on the floor. Needless to say that was the end of my shopping experience at Michaels.

I really love Michaels & looking at all the crafting stuff. My only complaint is the lack of acrylic paint available which makes it very frustrating when thats the reason you go there. I do get it though, its a pandemic and i dont blame them. I was just frustrated.

Really wish the night crew was more friendly, i know they dont like thier jobs but there is no reason why i get scoffed at when i need my order changed because they didnt hear me properly. Just rude entirely.

From model rockets to rock tumblers, Holiday decor, art supplies, cake decorating, calendars, posters & prints, frames to flowers, wine crafts and craft wire...I could go on forever... Yup, theyve got it.Clean, calm, easy to navigate and big enough to lose your spouse if you wander off... Prices were good, staff is helpful, everything I would hope for and then some.

They always need more open registers somehow. Buying things can feel like camping out. But they have art stuff and Hobby lobby sucks.

I love Michaels and many stores new options for “Curbside pick up” with Covid regulations, but I have to say Michaels version of this is not only a joke but also highly inaccurate. My email instructions said to go inside and find the kiosk that said online pick up. When I arrived I parked in a stall that said curbside pick up and called the number but there was no prompt for pick up orders. I went inside to find the kiosk that said to press the button for pick up orders. I pressed the button that apparently signaled for someone to come assist me but waited almost five minutes and nothing happened. There was a michaels associate standing near me staring but wouldn’t say anything. I went up to her and asked where to get my online curbside order and she told me to wait in line. So I wait in line and I get to the register and the michaels associate radios to another person to get my order and tells me to step aside. Stepping aside mind you leaves no room for social distancing, the whole reason I wanted to do curbside pick up with a newborn baby in the first place. I wait and wait and someone finally comes from the back with my order. She hands it to me and I tell her something is missing. Instead of offering to go through the order with me, she stands there with an attitude acting like I’m wasting her time. Feeling awkward and in the way I tell her I’ll figure it out later and she leaves, not even offering a hand out the door with more items than I can carry with the baby in my other hand. Their “curbside pick up” is a joke and a total waste of time. I definitely could have gone in store to find the items myself in less amount of time than this whole mess. Save yourself time and just go in the store or avoid Michaels all together until they figure this out.

Store is getting a little sparse around beads, but the store is great, and the staff pleasant.

First trip back after them opening since Covid closure. Some of the areas were pretty picked over, but they still had a lot of product to choose from. Lines were short and we were out quickly!

The lighting was strangely dark, and I couldnt find anybody who was working on the floor, to get help from. But the store had everything else down great.

Went to use the Restroom, Someone had clogged the Handicapped toilet and stuffed it with Paper towels, making it Unuseable.

Could use some help with layout. Crowded and clausterphic feeling. Often cluttered and not easy to navigate.

I like their candle deals but everything else feels a bit pricier than other places. I only go in if they are the only ones to carry an it. This time I was looking for a wooden number but the options where very poor.

I just did the “buy online, pick up In store” thing for the first time and it was SO easy. The two lady’s who helped me figure out what the heck I was doing were very patient with me as well and made the process go even smoother. They even brought everything out to my car for me since I was since either a toddler!!

Id give 5 stars just for the canvas sales they frequently have alone. Add the rest of the art supplies I need and its as true a love as there ever was.

Good to see a brick & mortar like this. Dont go the way of radio shack. Good to have a Goto store where you dont have to search for the details of a product online when its right in front of me. If this store dont have it, I walk out with ideas for other projects and know where to look next time. Too many times I trust online vendors to answer my questions on the spot. Online browsing can suck..

I love craft stores, and I would have given 5 stars except that it seems every time I go to look for scrapbooking tools in particular, they are often out of supply. Perhaps that is an example of the great sales I often miss out on. This store is well taken care of and the staff is great. They are also very helpful when calling with questions, I always have a clear answer before the end of my call.

I was helped out well, as I had a last minute shopping to do for a special occasion gift to make and it was close to closing time. The staff were very kind about helping me find what I needed. The only thing is Michael’s seems to be more of a floral arrangement type of store these days instead of bigger variety of items. I use to love to shop there for the more unique things. But all in all having a fantastic staff that is helpful is a big plus for a store by far!

Michaels has all kinds of paints, glues, paper for home touchups and projects. They also have frames, seasonal decor and detail items. The store is huge so havent seen all their sections yet.

I was at the check stand buying stickers for my special needs daughter. We dont just buy a few. When we go, we buy hundreds. The cashier asked us what we were doing with all of the stickers and I told her that my daughter is special needs, autistic, and she stated that she has high-functioning autism. She was the sweetest and most patient cashier I have had at this store. She was friendly, thorough, and so positive. I appreciated her so much, and felt so great that Michaels hired an individual with Autism.

Always like going into Michaels weather its with my daughter to get canvases for daddy daughter paint sessions or to pick up supplies for at home projects we always find what we need. The coupons we get every month are pretty great to (just sayin). Staff has always been friendly to us.

I took my Granddaughters to get brush pens, we look up on Micheals website..We looked, looked. and asked couldnt find. I just happened upon this stock and she went right to the box on the top shelf, and there they were. I left with Two extremely happy Grands. Thank u stock at Micheals in Puyallup.

The store itself is fine, but NEVER EVER go for store pick up. The woman in charge made it incredibly difficult to get the ordered items, after a driving over half an hour with two small kids. She was rude and unwilling to even cancel the order so I could get the items myself despite the fact I had already paid. Went home, planning to come again on Monday, only for the order to cancel on its own . WAY TOO MESSY. Never again.

Nice store. Organized, easy to find things. Just wish employees were a little more engaged with their customers and didnt act like I was asking them for the world when I need help to locate an item or when i have a question. They act like how dare I bother them with a question as they walk by me in an isle. Other than that great store.

Great sales and discounts! Sales personnel are warm, friendly, and concerned about you finding everything you need or looking for. The atmosphere is bright, inviting and makes you want to stay to shop or browse every section there.

I appreciate not having to deal with long lines here. You go and get what you need, and then you get out. No BS, and friendly people as you exit.

The Veterans Day Sale was awesome. My only issue was that sometimes when i go in there 1 day, they have what i need and the next they dont. I would think with sales they would want to restock. Little bit disappointed however saved A LOT of money

Beautiful craft store. The strings or the fabric that holds space time together in (M-Theory) would be the energy that creates the attraction and holds your biological vessels quantum particles together and gives it mass so it can be a watchman and perceive time. Without that Quantum entangled attraction (strings of energy) that holds all mass together it would just return to the light where space has no time.

The one stop shop for all your crafty projects. Michaels always has generous coupons on their app and online or in store.Sales clerks are available on the floor to help you find stuff....seasonal and holiday decor is offered.

While the selection here is certainly unique compared to many other stores due to it being a specialty shop, the price tag for items might be a bit steep. Still, the place is a must try for anyone who likes crafting.

5 Star Service

I was looking for several items but to no avail, so I ask an employee, who answered questions nicely. She showed me in person what they did have. I noticed that Michaels was out of so many items that had not been restocked from the weekend. Yes I was disappointed, I will find what I need elsewhere.

They were well stocked with a good variety crafty merchandise. They also have excellent sales running for the holidays. I like that they have a good location too, as they are relatively close to just about any place else you may need to go, not far from the freeway, and there are several food options nearby. Theres a fantastic local pizza joint in the same complex just about 100 ft North of them, or a really good taco truck across the street.

This Michaels is a 3.7 for me - I order online and pick-up in store as well as shop in the store. Both checking out in the store and picking up orders is slow. In-store pickup is at the frame department, and either there is a line or no one is around. Can get help out though if you need it for big orders. There is a little bit of everything, but popular items are usually sparce, and things always seem a bit picked over. Walking around always sparks new ideas, but I usually cant get everything I want/need in the store, so have to supplement with on-line shopping.
