Gem of a museum in a boxcar. Youll love it if you read the Boxcar Children books, and even if you didnt. Hands-on activities for kids. Too tiny for a restroom, but theres a restaurant just across the tracks.

History preserved locally, neat little museum

This is a wonderful small museum in a box car. The author lived down the street and the school she taught at was a block away. This museum has pictures of the town over the years, a small naturalist section that is hands on for the kids, items from the books, the authors desk and type writer and more. Quite a lot of information for a small place and the volunteer was so nice!

What a fascinating place to come visit! Parents and families around the world come to see this lovely museum! Well worth a treasured peice of history!
