This was my first time visiting this park, I stopped in to help fix a AC on my moms RV. I can see now why she stays here from time to time on staycation. The park is very clean and well kept. It looks as if half of the people live there full time in both travel trailers and mobile homes and the other half are part timers or on vacation. Everyone seemed very friendly and the community pool is definitely a huge draw. Im pretty sure I saw a shuffle board area as well as horseshoes or bocciball too. I will absolutely go back again, next time Ill leave my tools at home and bring a pair of swim trunks. Lol

Nice park, always clean and well maintained. Many of the sites are pull-thru which is great. Not a lot of shade but otherwise a good choice. Close to Punta Gorda, Fishermans Village, Port Charlotte.

I love this place. Full bars on version. The people are so open and nice. The ground are spotless. Plenty of activities ever day. Heated pool and hot tub. And centrally located in Florida. Great home base for exploring central Florida.

Really well kept park, nice staff, very accommodating, very tight spaces to maneuver in but very clean. Nice club house, Pool. Nice large laundry room but very tight showers. Over all we would stay there again.

Tight fit. But nice and quiet.

Love this place, except for the loud air conditioner from a permanent resident, but all in all the pool is very nice. Came in on a weekend, office closed and had our package ready. Will definitely be back

We are loving the place! The staff is very welcoming and informative. The facilities are kept in pristine shape, and the location is central to everything in the area. There are multiple activities, daily, for the park community to interact with each other. We could only get in for two nights, this time, but well plan further ahead to stay much longer next time.

Nice pool and hot tub not crowded at all and open 24/7

We stayed 2 weeks at this Encore Park. Very pleasant park with many park homes. It served us well as a starting point to visiting other nearby sites. The fellow campers were very nice and welcoming. We like the area and will return next year when we return from the Keys.

Quiet clean park close to everything needed

Great pool and hot tub. Loved staying their as seasonals in 2015 and 2016.

Green. Beautiful landscaping with many trees and grass. Level lots with concrete pads or patios or both. Very attentive staff in the office. Nice pool, clubhouse and gym. Really a resort experience. Will return!

Clean, friendly staff. Nice club house and work out machines. Nice large pool with super huge umbrellas . Out of all the other parks this one is a 5. Im surprised overall its 4.4. once you visit other parks youll realize they have the best club house and amenities.

Very nice resort. All sites are pull through,. Pay for Wi-Fi, cable not available unless your staying 30+ days. Trash pickup at your site 3 days a week. Clean pool and got tub. Close to shopping and gas. Staff are great and very helpful. Had a bad breaker when we plugged in and they were here within 5 minutes of me calling and fixed it. Highly recommend

Fantastic is all I can say! Nice clean place to stay. We were only going to spend the night before moving on but do to circumstance beyond our control, we needed to stay a few extra days and they were so accommodating. Thank you Gulf View we will remember this.The Poglianos

Conducted a BonWorth fashion show at this lovely park. Very clean with a roomy clubhouse. The bulletin board outlined many fun activities. But the best part were the residents. Two gentlemen helped pull 10 racks of clothing up the handicapped ramp to set up and again to tear down. The ladies were the best! Coffee and desserts were served; the red velvet cake was infused with Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur. I felt welcome among friendly folks who know how to have fun! Special kudos to Fran, the Activity Director.

Second winter at Gulf View...great resort with very capable and fantastic staff. Hats off to Kelly and DIANE.... Lots to do, great activities, great location to PUNTA GORDA.

It is a hard decision to give a three star. Nice park. I called in for reservation for a 36ft fifth-wheel pulled by a dually. When I arrived I was directed to a pull through a site covered by grass. I was barely able to get out of the swamp. Tried many sites but did not work. The fellow who helped me actually worth five stars. I understand that the park wants to make money but honesty should come first. Should have said on phone:Sir, the last two days we had x amount of rain. We would love to have you but I am not sure if you will not sink in the mud.Plus street signs and lights make it very difficult to pass.

Friendly clean campground. Flat sites but retains water when rains. You may get stuck in the grass. Super fun activities during winter season. Very clean grounds, pool area, shower/laundry and club house.

Stayed there this weekend.I would NOT recommend this place if you are over 40 feet. Way to tight to get aroundAfter being there for 4 hours the power pole blew. I called the 2 after hour emergency numbers that were on the door. 2 days later have still not received a call back.People at the front desk were nice just nonexistent on the weekend.

Its a nice encore park. Not much of a selection in the area.

Within ten minutes of Fishermans Village. Close to downtown restaurants and the Fat Point brewery. The campground has the usual amenities with nice sites and concrete patios. My only complaint is how narrow the roads are. Yes, we will continue to stay there when visiting family in the area. We really like it.

The grounds are immaculate. The laundry room is clean and takes credit cards only. The people were very friendly.

This is a well organized and friendly park. Mostly rerouted people who are active and want to be involved. Lots of activities to keep you busy every single day. We love it here.

Its well kept. There are many different types of activities going on for every type of interest. The people are friendly and welcoming! Weve made many friends in a short time!! Its our second season here.

Came here from Orlando Thousand Trails arrived on a Sunday. Office was closed on Sunday but there was a package in the box for us. The site selected was too tight and we could not fit so we selected another site. No problem because most of the park was empty. Nice little park!

One of the most inexpensive places we found in Lee and Charlotte county that is not a dump! We looked at over a dozen before we picked this park.

I really enjoy seeing all my Massachusetts family here. We were the only young with kids family and didnt feel left out. Bathrooms clean all the time and so many activities to do.

For our new RV’s shakedown trip, we spent three nights at the Gulf View RV resort in Punta Gorda, FL. The grounds are well maintained. Everything we used worked as expected. The office staff was very helpful and friendly.

A quick decision and lack of local knowledge led us to this pet friendly campground. Its nothing more than a glorified parking lot full of bitter snowbirds. Pets are welcome but theres nothing friendly about this place. There is no view of the gulf whatsoever and its a 15 minute ride to even see the river, and at least 30 to a beach.

We have been coming here since 2013. We stay in the same spot for 6 months. Love the people, lots of activities, always laughter. There is a lot to do in the area, and many places to go for a day trip, shopping, good restaurants, sight seeing.Downfall is flooding when it rains. Moderate rain will flood this place. Too bad Encore Corporate wont do anything about it.

We love it here. Stayed here for the first time winter of 2011 counting the days to return winter 2012. Great location, small clean park with a nice clubhouse and large pool. Park is close to local attractions and resturants.

The manager, Diane Moore runs this place as hard as a German concentration camp. That is if you are new and a veteran. She picks and chooses who she will drop the hammer down on. If you are rich and have a new RV then you are fine. Hthe expensive RVer staff at the counter are pleasant.This place floods big time during rain. Damn near bought a kayak. The bathrooms are clean some days but nasty osn others.They asked me to uninstall my ratty awning which I did but after so she was worried about the corporate office seeing it on the ground. Make no mistake she is a corporate tool and as long as she can extract money from you she is happy. She is not a people person unless you are one of her relatives she rents to.They are supposed to mow the grass but they will only mow what they want, especially around expensive RVs.Katherine who works the desk is nice. At $751 a month I will never return.
