This art center is a non-profit organization featuring local artists of all kinds, and offers a variety of classes as well. The building is large and beautiful, with several galleries, and a gift shop for purchasing locally made items. What a nice place to visit!

OMG. a must go place. The art work is the mood. From stained glass to pottery to oil and watercolors...the art work is inspirational. We are fortunate to have such amazing artists. And the best part is they offer classes! Artwork changed every month. And the ppl are so fun, and pleasant.

What a lovely experience! Its nice to see local artistry on display. There are always new exhibits going on, and plenty of different mediums to view. The classes seem robust, though we havent taken one personally. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a stop!

Beautiful building with supplies, lessons of all kinds, lectures, a library and lots of displayed works by local artists. Im presently taking a watercolor class and I love it.

The Arts Center is a combination of a gallery and a series of workshops for fine arts including ceramics. It is a beautiful building situated just across from Fishermans Village in Punta Gorda. It is a very nice place to stop in and look around. You can also walk over from Linear Park.

Good local art work, classes, home of Common Threads, Fiber Arts group, meet 1st & 3rd Fridays 1-3pm.

I love this place, and every time I go, I get to see wonderful artwork and I can also get great opportunities with my artwork from being a student, like rewards, scholarships and probably more. You can take classes there over the summer and its very exciting and you get to learn something you have never done before, so I think its really worth it to go see the Visual Arts Center.

Got a really good store in it all kinds of artwork with classes that can show you how to do the artwork very fun and entertaining family oriented

Saw an art exhibition exhibition there and it was outstanding... wish they were more like that in this area. Just outstanding.

Very much appreciated site for art in Punta Gorda. Membership has its privaleges. Local watercolor artist is a blessing to our community Veteran population.

A wonderful exhibit there with pottery and metal called Copper and Clay. Worth checking out. I think it will be there until April 5.
