Great place for games. Has a pavilion, playground, trees, baseball field, lots of running space and is right next to the river trail. For some reason they took down the iconic fort that the park was named for, but is still a good gathering place.

Very cool skate park. Let the little ones okay around when no one was skating. They loved it. Good condition. It doesnt feel like the safest area, so would suggest an adult stay with younger kids.

Theres plenty of room to skate, ride bikes, play, climb trees, have a picnic or eat lunch. You can do it all out here! Great park.

Nice clean historical park but you wouldnt know how historic unless you really look close at the tiny print on a sign . As a park its very nice, great parking. 50 ft from the very well maintained river trail with underpasses to avoid any traffic at all. AS A historic site very disappointing. I happen to know that before the fort was built near this park there was an original fort on the opposite side of the river and it was decided one way or another because of the soil quality that the fort was moved from the north side to the south side. PROVO grew out from this point.if Im wrong please correct me.

I miss the old fort that was there in t he 60s,70s,and most off the 80s before it was torn down. But know it has a bigger and better place to live and play for kids.good we ne w d that stuff in th red 60s, 70s, 80s. We had worse things to deal with but know that my are open and retain thing just some moments of clearly. Lol.this do have worse things, gangs th e only utah bicker gan g was the sundowners, they were opposed to the hellsangles. But when you saw all off t hem on the freeway,it was a sit to see..

Like any skate park I don’t feel completely safe hanging out here but it is what it is. Really cool skate location for those interested in skating. When I used to skateboard I’d come here. Now it’s a great place to fly a drone if you’re into that sort of thing too.

Fort Utah Park was named after a Fort Utah replica built on the park grounds in 1972. The original fort didnt stand at this location, but was originally several blocks east of the park. The original fort was used by the Mormon Pioneers when they first settled Provo. The replica was demolished in January of 2017

Small skate park for street skating. I havent been out on a board in over 25 years, but took my 10 year old and had a great time. There are rails, copings all in a board shallow bowl. More than enough to keep you busy and have fun. There are also enough trees nearby to take a break in the shade when you need it.

They have recently torn down the fort leaving behind a somewhat dated park with 4 baseball diamonds for the local little league teams which are very active during baseball season and a small skate park which is very popular with the local teens. The facilities are somewhat dated, the parking area could use a resurfacing, but the trees are awesome and the grounds are well maintained. My wife and I come here to eat lunch/dinner quite often due to the great environment here.

Review №63

Nice that its close to the river trail. Sad they tore down the old fort, it was the only really interesting about the place, though it was basically falling down due to neglect anyway.Otherwise meh... The playground is subpar. The volleyball pit is a real mess. The baseball fields look nice, but they take up almost all of the prime space in the park and there isnt anywhere near enough parking for them.
