Black Box

The Black Box Theatre is a versatile open space theatre that is located in a dynamic space right in downtown Providence. For those who might not know, it is box shaped, and painted entirely black, with a small sound/light station for assisting performances with all sound and light issues. The sound/light booth might be called something else.The Black Box Theatre is a part of AS220, a wonderful spot that supports local artists and the art scene in the city. There is a bar next door that offers decent drinks and snacks.Looking for a space to host an event in the city? Consider this space!

Awesome place, definitely visit if you want to get out of the mainstream!

Venue is small but intimate. The sound, lighting, and acoustics are well handled for the space.

Small theater space where all seats are perfect. Good acoustics, too.
