Historic cemetery. 2 US presidents and many veterans.
The Princeton Cemetery broke our hearts because they did a poor job of placing my mother’s tombstone and refuse to fix it. They sold us one thing and delivered a very different and poor result. My mother passed away on April 8th, 2020 and was buried at the Princeton Cemetery on Friday April 10th. We chose a plot next to that of a deceased friend at the Princeton Cemetery, decided upon a similar headstone size and shape to that of our friends’ and specifically asked that her headstone be lined up with with all those in the same row. It is now July 6th, 2020. Her headstone is crooked, wobbly (it can actually be easily lifted) and it is out of line with the row it’s in by a couple of feet. Again, I was very specific with them. They gave me no information about when and how they would set the stone. And now, they say it’s all done and there is nothing I can do about it! Shame on you Princeton Cemetery for having added to our grief and pain...- 11/19/20: Even though I reported them to the Better Business Bureau, Princeton Cemetery still refused to even consider rectifying the situation. They lied in their response to the BBB about above matters. Now, when I go to visit my dear mother’s final resting place, I am filled with the pain of what these people have done while I look at her crooked and misplaced tombstone. It makes me feel like I have failed her one last time. So heartbreaking :(
Nice place to walk around with the kids
How is the soil there? Do you know how long the corps need to dissapear? Thanks ;)
So many historic people are buried here! Must see when youre in town.
How to find Aaron Burrs resting place? He is on the side closer to the Princeton Library building. He is in a fenced (short) group reserved for President of Princeton University. His father was one.
Disappointing. I tried waiting at midnight and there are no ghosts.
Its a beautiful place except I cant get in
Pretty solid selection of dead people. Not creepy tho
Some incredible names dotted around the place
Quiet serenity near the middle of Princeton. Historical.
Grover Cleveland is buried here
