The facility is really, really nice. Had not been to the Embry Riddle campus before. The light show started really okay enough. Maybe a little amaturish, but okay for the $6 I guess. But my ears are still ringing like a bell. WHO THE HECK DESIGNED THE PRODUCTION AND LASER SOUND SYSTEM? THEY SHOULD BE LAUNCHED... TO THE MOON! Get it together. You have a really nice planetarium, but you need to fix the AV. It was like nails on a chalk board by 15 minutes in to the show.

Nasty harsh sounding music. I am a musician and music lover. This hurt my ears!!!! Someone needs to fix their sound system. Sounded fine until the music came up.

Great people, wonderful idea, but the worst planetarium laser light show I have ever seen / heard. Huge amount of shrill audio effect at volume, causing everyone’s ears to ring long after the show. It wasn’t the loudness that caused the problem, it was what’s called transient intermodulation distortion, which is VERY bad for your ears and enjoyment. Also, I helped create the “Eye see the light show” at the Vanderbilt Planetarium in NY back in the late 70’s; and despite more modern, less expensive, much higher performance laser systems and controllers today, this laser light show was primitive compared to one created over 40 years ago. this laser ligh show’s problems are a function of creative development issues, lack of proper technical experience, poor laser collimation and related issues. Unlike a great laser light show where many people go back to see the same show multiple times, everyone in our party of 6 people, and several people I heard exclaim upon walking out, will not be coming back. Shame. A good laser light show should not hurt your ears or bore your brain. This show could be a huge success, but not in its present form.

Excellent facility, presentations and orations by Erik. They have traditional seasonal star shows as well as professional studio productions. Would have loved to attend a college like this!
