I just called to report an incident that happened at Antelope Hills Golf Course over the weekend where a stray golf ball shattered my window from a player at Hole 1 at tee off. I arrive at about 2:30 pm and I was waiting in my car for some friends to arrive before we played a round. I was not sitting there but 5 minutes and the ball smashed through my rear window. I called to report it this morning (Monday August 31) and the receptionist inquired with “Terry” who apparently did not even take my call because ‘there was nothing he could do about it’ and that his only suggestion was to contact “Billy Casper Golf Courses “, however no direct point of contact was referred. According to my research, the golf course could be potentially liable for reimbursement if proper netting is not provided and at hole 1 there is zero netting between the tee and the main parking lot. You can see from the pictures that I was not parked anywhere out of the ordinary and there were numerous other cars in the lot (25+ others). I just can’t believe management didn’t offer anything to rectify the incident, they didn’t offer me advice or even apologize for the inconvenience! You would think they could have even offered a free round of golf or a voucher to their restaurant? Absolutely nothing. Thankfully I got the person who hit the balls phone number and their was also a few witnesses; however, whether he pays is a matter of personal integrity. I guess be very wary parking in their lot and don’t expect any type of customer service or personable assistance if this happens to you- cause I be the first and I’m assuming I won’t be the last.
The golf course was a beautiful shape very busy Wednesday but to be expected. ? It is reasonably priced for all players. They tried to keep the play going on an even Keel so nobody gets backed up too much.
This was a big disappointment!!! They over booked and on the first tee it was back up with 4 four sums waiting to tee off. We consistently were waiting on holes to tee off and had golfers behind us on our a$$ because off this. We had golfers behind is hitting into to us and almost hitting us on multiple occasions. Most unenjoyable golf experience Ive ever had. At this point Ill never golf or recommend this course ro anyone!!!
I really like this place. The restaurant is a great place to eat. It has two 18 hole golf courses, an old and a new. Both are challenging and fun. It has a driving range but it is heavily used so grass can be hard to find. Two areas to practice putting and chipping. Golf lessons are available. Ive taken lessons and even a duffer like me can improve.
The golf staff and restaurant staff were very friendly and accomodating, and it was a really busy afternoon. Loved my drink special and the food was delicious.
Went for dinner. Fri fish fry and sat prime rib are great..
Super 36 holes on the north side of Prescott, an easier course and a tougher one thats more tree lined....both fun and enjoyable.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was great. Views of the driving range from patio was a great setting.
We had an great dinner at manzanita grill. Our server, Debbie is the best!
Manzanita Cafe for breakfast. Good food and great service. Nice mimosas...
Great course two of them I had a really good time here I drove there from Sedona no tee time and they fit me right in best course in the country
The course is in good shape but there are several places where there are not cart paths but dirt paths. Played the South course and only lost a few balls. The staff is super friendly and helpful!
Amazing food and great staff! Definitely going back!
Both courses are great, fairways and greens are well kept cut nicely. I think the North plays harder than the South but that’s a good thing. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. My favorite golf course you’re here !JT
Dinner was terrific, good prime rib and good prices. Put on your Must Visit list, check it out!!
Stay away from the restaurant they have there. Service and food is terrible. Went there for the all you can eat fish special. A total waste of my money. They use Bosa fish. A low quality farmed fish from China. Disgusting really.
Nice day trip from Phoenix, soo fun, good shape. Great staff
Great shape fun course. Tall rough smooth greens.
The actual course was wonderful and well maintained. But the employees and the way we were treated was less than subpar. We were a younger group in our 20s and as soon as we got there it felt like we were not welcome. Halfway through our game one of our carts died so we pushed it back to the main building, it had just enough juice to go if you pushed it. When we got back we received no thank you or anything for bringing it back, the employee just laughed at the fact we pushed it back. Im definitely not ever going there again and its quite sad we had to deal with any of this in the first place.
North side is harder. But both were fun. Course is in great shape.
Played both the North and South course this last weekend. Both are in great shape!
Course is in poor condition, cart paths are rough and bumpy.
Great courses, North and South, North has lots of trees and long par 4s or short and tricky par 4s. South is very open and more of a grip it and rip it course but still some strategy involved. Always excellent course conditions, friendly and helpful staff and reasonable prices. Both courses are must plays in Arizona.
Antelope Hills is a great golf course. They have two courses, a North and a South. Total yardage from the black tee boxes on the South course is 7014 yd. And the slope rating is 123.The North course from the black key Box the slope rating as 128 with a total yard of 6844 total yards. Antelope Hills also has an excellent restaurant inside the clubhouse area
Two courses, beautiful views.Staff is exceptional!Friendly, courteous, professional. As a new golfer it can be a little intimidating -- but these people are always understanding whats important to their customer. At least I notice this to be the case for my experiences there.
Great Fish Fridays.
I enjoyed the North Course much better than the other course. Roxy the bartender was super friendly and welcoming.
Great prime rib on Saturday night
We went Saturday for prime ribeye. Very good food. Wait staff was very good.
Great views & great course!!! Very busy!
They have done grips for me.. service is awesome..2 courses to choose from
Best day of golf EVER!! bonus.
Friendly and efficient staff!
Played today, the course was overwatered making the yardage more difficult to figure out. I think course management is trying to recover from some excessive heat that caused some Turf damage. Greens rolled true and were a lot of fun. Most tee boxes were solid and not an issue like the fairways were. For the price, this is a great value. In addition, the restaurant has good food and there is a full-service bar with a great patio to hang out and do 19th hole.
Fun course to play. Two 18 hole courses. North course is all tree lined, South course more of a wide open links course. I play South course. A lot of forgiving fairways. Minimal water on the course. Greens ran smooth. Friendly staff in pro shop. Large driving and putting area. Only real obstacle is the wind. Play it, youll enjoy it.
Played the South course today. Greens were fantastic for an Arizona course. Being from Wisconsin and normally playing in the Bullhead city area these greens were true, smooth and had some place. Tee boxes and fairways were in great shape. Staff was courteous and helpful. Will definitely come back.
I have never had a bad experience at this course. I have been golfing here many years, and everytime the staff is very helpful, and friendly. The course is always in great shape especially with how much play they get everyday. I would reccomend Antelope Hills to everyone. They also have great food!
Fairways nicely cut, greens lighting fast on the South Course. Great round.
Not a golfer, but our church ladies fellowship meets at the restaurant on the first Saturday of every month for lunch. Great menu, great food, great prices! Try their scrumptious chicken salad on a croissant, or the grilled reuben, with soup or the house salad (or any other choice of sides). We have 12-16 ladies each time, and everyone keeps coming back.
Staff is very helpful and knowledgable. Course is great.
Good course, no winter over seed though
Played Memoral day, $5, 18 holes with cart. For Veterans.Great time. Fun course.Hamburgers are delicious.
Supreme golf bungled my reservation but they were able to get me on the course regardless, I played the south course, very forgiving and did fairly well. Good balance of 3, 4 and 5 pars and a couple doglegs, bunkers on almost every hole and water hazards on a few. Very nice greens. My only complaints; On a Sunday afternoon it took me four hours to play through and when playing for the first time it can be tough navigating through the last 5-6 holes.
It is a very nice restaurant and a fun place to be with your friends. The meals are excellent.
Fun place with fair prices. 3 stars because there was no marshal and the front 9 was backed up considerably. We literally were 2 or 3 groups deep waiting. Seriously the worst to sit and wait for 10 to 15 minutes between holes.
One of my favorite courses in town.
I went to the restraunt they have at the golf course. The service was not the best, I know most people like to look at the menu and look what they want to eat but my mom and I already knew what we wanted. The server asked us what we wanted to drink and left right away when we finally got to order after calling her back it took forever 3 different parties who arrived a significant time after us got their food before we did. Not only that but they brought me a completely different order and the server got an attitude when I said what she brought me was not what I ordered. Then someone esle brought me the correct order and they dropped the plate on the table making a noticably loud noise. To my face the servers were nice but giving me and my mom dirty looks. All we wanted was to eat and leave. But some people are just having a bad day I guess.
Been a long time since Ive played here. Was always affordable and having choice of courses was good. Play north for sure in the summer.
Played the North course and really enjoyed it. Great price, course in good shape. Staff couldn’t have been friendlier. Enjoyed a nice Easter brunch — delicious.
Fun course, well maintained.
Very nice short game areas. More courses should be like this. Cant wait to try the seafood buffet and the Thanksgiving dinner. David
Has tonights courses the weather is beautiful
Try the shrimp and chips basket!!! Great cocktail sauce. Not the healthiest choice, but itll make you want to go back over and over. And I always hear from others who dont limit themselves to the shrimp basket, that their entire menu is really good. Salads, sandwiches, etc. Experienced staff with rare turnover. Golf course and restaurant open to the public. Tables overlook the golf course. Right by the Prescott airport.
Antelope Hills has 2 outstanding courses! The people that work there are great and the food is good too. I highly recommend playing there!
Long course for average woman golfer but always fun to play. Great food at the Manzanita Grille!!
Lots of fun, A little bit pricey but fun.
My husband loves these courses
Had a great time and tryed to golf.
Good to golf. Website doesnt show the actual total fees for any given day. Example: website says senior riding 18 holes is$31. But thats only M-T. Weekend is full price.
Love it
Perfect fairways, fast true greens, best course around for the price!
Beautiful course!
Food was great ordered screwdriver tall anything but well vodka, yeah couldnt drink it
Nice Muni courses.
Very good fish. Very nice place
Beautiful course, great driving range!Good food and Cold beer!!
Service wasnt the best and the food was barely edible.
Just an average track with only side yardage markers. Unbelievably arrogant staff and unfriendly as all get out. Get over yourselves.
Need new mowers and much needed funding for Perminent positions.
Good local course.
Perfect day on the course - no wind not hot nice relaxing afternoon
Excellent food and service as usual.
Had lunch in the cafe. Best chicken salad ever at a reasonable price. Personable waitress.
Very fun course to play
2 18 hole courses with a different layout for each. North course is tree lined and south course is long. Decent carts and driving range. Some great afternoon specials and a nice restaurant and bar round it out.
We played the South course and it was nice. Both courses are good. Their quality depends on the setup they choose, it is a municipal course. Greens putted true. Grass was a mix of green and dormant due to the time of year. Play was too slow. Fair test.
Beautiful course, the service when I arrived wasnt that great. Seemed unorganized and some ignored me and others. Hope it improves as the location is perfect!
What a nice respite from the valley convection oven.
Good golf course, nice helpful staff. Good restaurant. The North is the more challenging, great track. The South is fun but more an executive type layout.
Went for buffet at around 5:30 pmThey ran out of items on buffet and said sorry, we are not replacing them tonight. Basically just eat what is left. You decide if you want to visit this establishment for yourself.
Played the south course and it was in great shape. It was open, so a good course for amateurs and a stress free round with buddies. A lot of reviews mention pace of play, but we had no issues - granted it was a Friday afternoon.
Pace of play Sunday afternoon was terrible. Need someone to encourage people to keep up.
Always a nice place, coarse and restaurant
The club house has great food for breakfast and lunch. The Friday fish fry is excellent. The course is a must for anyone. Its unique because it is one of a few courses in AZ that has 36 holes.
Wonderful environment. Delicious sea food!!
Great big driving range
Nice, bring extra balls tho. No way of finding anything off fairway
After 3 years of dining regularly at the Manzanita Grill, Im still shocked that the restaurant isnt pack each night that it serves dinner. We attend the PASTA NIGHT which is the THIRD Thursday of each month. Folks you are missing out on the BEST DEAL in the Quad-City area. The Italian dishes are superb, fresh and extremely reasonably for an ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT buffet. We urge you to come out next month on November 16th for a great dinner! YUM! The Shepherds
Fun course and a nice place to play if you want some relief from the valley.
Good inexpensive food. Beautiful views. One of my favorite places for dinner
Nice golf courses both north and south. The restaurant has fair prices good food.
