This hotel is a great piece of history. Old time elevator and wood floors. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because there were no coffee makers around and I had to put my insulin on ice because there wasnt a refrigerator in our room. The young lady that checked us in was so nice and thorough in terms of where to park and places to eat.

I love authentic old hotels. Built again in 1901 after the original burned down. Exceptional location right on Whiskey Row across from the courthouse park. Seconds walking to several bars and restaurants. Its clean and tidy with friendly staff.. Dont expect any glitz but if you enjoy stepping back into history this is it.

I love the location of this Hotel. It is situated right at the edge of Whiskey Row this hotel has a rich history. The rooms are a little small which is why I am giving it 4 stars but all in all I have enjoyed my stay. Its surrounded by all the fun bars and shops that whiskey row is known for. The beautiful Prescott courthouse is just across the street. Prices are fair. Come give this place a stay its so much fun!

A shout out to JP the front desk manager. When I arrived home I found I was missing my right hearing aid. I surmise that it fell out when I removed my mask upon returning to the room prior to checking out. I contacted JP the front desk manager who alerted housekeeping. I was delighted to receive a call from JP that the hotel is mailing my hearing aid to my home.We had a great stay with Hotel St. Michael, everything was fine and we look forward to returning. The location in downtown Prescott is walking distance to many good bars and restaurants. We enjoyed great Italian and outdoor seating at Limoncello Napoletana.

On a positive note..... the check in process was really easy, with very helpful and professional staff, and the location can’t be beat. The beds are comfortable and the linens appear to be clean.But... I have no idea how this place gets so many great reviews. The room immediately smells like an old shoe when you walk in, the bathroom is very worn, the towels were getting thin, and there is thick dust on the ceiling fan. There is only one lock on the door (at least it’s the deadbolt) but it sticks and you really need to press on the door to make it work. The killer is that I paid $178 including taxes to stay here! It would be great if the owners of this historic hotel would give it the TLC it deserves.

This is one of my favorite places to visit. I usually visit in April during the Whiskey Off-Road mountain bike event. . We were given a voucher for the option offree breakfast between 7-9amor $5 offfrom 9-11am. Arrived and seated at 1045am. Had the vouchers on the table to show the server our intentions then were told that they are no longer serving breakfast and are serving lunch and that the coupons would not be taken for lunch. My wife ordered the burger which was not visually appealing and after biting into it, over seasoned/salted and charred on the bottom. server was extremely helpful in a replacement option, so my wife ordered a salad. My crispy chicken sandwich was perfectly crispy and delicious. They dont offer you an option to substitute fries for a side salad so the only way to add a salad was for an additional fee. The server was not only gracious in removing the item my wife did eat or like, but also her salad she ordered to replace the burger. I brought it to her attention, as I felt we should pay for the salad she ate but she insisted to leave it off the bill. We will try this place again next time we are in town and hope to make it down for breakfast earlier.

The food was good as well as the service but $11 for a small (smaller than regular sandwich bread) sandwich and fries is way too much. The restaurant was clean and the food quick to come to the table. I just cant get over the little sandwich for $11 so I only gave 3 stars. Had the sandwich been at least the size of a regular slice of bread or been overstuffed with ingredients it would have been 5 stars, but it wasnt. What I got was good, about $5 good but good. My suggestion is to throw the tiny bread and make a real sandwich, youre good at what you do, you just dont do enough of it.

It is located right near all the action, across from the court house. Rooms were fine. They dont have much of a lobby.. to be fair we were there on memorial day right after Covid-19 allowed restaurants to partially open so business was not as usual. They have a great restaurant call the bistro and you get a voucher for a free breakfast there. We had dinner at the bistro since everywhere else was closed and the food was delicious. We both got BBQ bacon burgers which were so amazing and so are their fries, I will definitely be going back to this hotel and will be telling everyone I know who is planning a trip up there.

I was extremely disappointed that I paid for a deluxe room and there was nothing deluxe about it. It was supposed to face the square and it faced Whisky Row. The king mattress was SO lumpy and old I couldn’t sleep.Due to Covid, the excellent breakfast was no longer included so technically the price of the breakfasts should have been deducted from the bill of $167 that I paid. My husband and I had stayed here 3 times in the past(during the week) and for the price of $109we always loved it.I was so disappointed on Saturday July 25 though that I will no longer stay here again. HORRIBLE! The rooms were nice for a historic stay. However, there was supposed to be a free breakfast included at the Bistro and that’s half the reason why we stayed, but there wasn’t! They only refunded us $10 for 4 people for breakfast! All the websites and reviews said the breakfast was amazing and included but it wasn’t! Had been hearing good things about the Bistro. Made it there too late for breakfast, so we tried the burgers, and a grilled cheese for our kid.The server assured my wife the burger came with onions, which the menu stated were not included, so she did not write down her requested with onions. Wife also ordered hers medium well, recorded as medium rare on ticket. My burger (pictured with bites missing) was meant to actually be medium rare. It was very, very ruined/overcooked.The service was above average, for front of house. Food took a while to come out, so we opted to just eat it, rather than wait even longer, to see if it would come out better next time. The fries were good, and the space itself is pretty cool. Big windows, so we could watch the police escorting a non paying patron outside, and interviewing him just outside the glass from where we were seated lol

I stayed here for a week and loved the whole antique vibe it had going. There were a few things that I do wish were a little different though. For starters my sister and I were not aware of the loading dock by the door and weren’t informed of it until after we dragged all of our luggage in from the parking garage. Parking was another downside due to the fact that there is limited parking in front of the hotel because of its location we had to be walking in the back down an alley to the parking garage many times at night which I felt was not the safest, maybe with better lighting it wouldn’t be so bad. Also the rooms did not have any microwaves or refrigerators and so we weren’t actually able to keep any snacks, left overs, or cold waters in our room unless it didn’t have to be refrigerated or microwaved. Other than that it was a nice and calm place to stay and it was a nice location with many places near by to explore!

We Booked a Room weeks in advance of our stay, when we booked it we were not told that the Bistro in the Hotel would be closed at 2:00 pm, instead of 8:00 pm. We planned on ending our evenings in the Bistro as to be close to our room. the front desk staff didnt care about the Issue when I brought it up. The rooms are small, and in mediocre shape. The bathroom is very tiny, and dated. They provide a breakfast voucher per person every day but on the morning that we were leaving they had no staff at the front desk to provide the voucher, good thing for us that the Bistro Manager remembered us, and gave us the voucher discount. the price for our stay with all taxes was around $410.00, for 3 nights stay one night was a Sunday in the off season.
