I was going to buy some arrows in here yesterday, but it cost me my arrow money to reset the string on my compound. 5 sec job and could of had a new customer. bad businesses skills for sure. Sportsman authority does it for free.

What can I say other than this is the premier shopping experience for a first time archer. I communicated my needs, experience level (none), and price range and walked out with a beautiful bow, arrows, release and even a crash course in how to shoot the darn thing. I was never pressured out of my price range and I can tell I am going to get a lot of good years out of this beginners setup before Im ready to upgrade. I stopped by Mile High Archery in Prescott Valley and met with Dave the owner. I told him I had an old Hoyt Accutec (2001) that I bought used many years ago but the draw length was always about 1.5 in too long even set at its minimum. The bow came equipped with Command Cam #3 and I needed C.C. #2. I had purchased a used set of C.C. #2 about 4 years ago, but then decided to buy a set of used GTX Cam and 1/2 that were removed from a Hoyt Contender (2012). After speaking to Hoyt, we found that the bows were extremely similar in the draw weight, the axle to axle length, and the brace height.Dave accepted the challenge to install the GTX cams and make new strings but did let me know that there was no guarantee it was going to work. I completely understood.Anytime you make a frankenbow you may not get the results that you were expecting. Dave worked his magic, installed the new GTX cams and made new strings. The bow now has a perfect draw length for me with a draw weight of approximately 50 lb which is exactly what I was looking for in a compound target bow. Ive spent the whole day shooting the bow in my backyard and just cant put it down.Thank you Dave for a great job.

Brought My 1st ever Bow which is an Old School Bear Bow i was gifted in to have it re-strung and for some upgrades. Got a new sight and a whisker biscuit. Dave did an awesome Job and the bow shoots awesome. look forward to going back for future purchases and n upgraded bow one day soon.

Dave is great, he took great care of my archery needs for my daughter and me. Very comparable on prices and can get you whatever you need when it comes to archery and archery hunting. Went in to adjust my bow for a surprise hunt in a week and a half. So helpful and knowledgeable. Ended up buying a new PSE since I had advanced out of the pounds I can pull from my bow I took in. Got me set up and on my way, even with a little hunt advice for my Bull tag. Thanks again Dave!
