We love Gestalt Studios @ The Polar Plant! Not only do they carry amazing art supplies, but they have the best homemade soup and handpies. Their coffee and drinks are fantastic as well. The atmosphere and customer service is out of this world and we are so grateful to have Gestalt Studios @ The Polar Plant in Powell, WY!

This place is adorable. They have easels set up so you can create art as you sip on your coffee. Super cozy. So glad I stopped in.

Spacious, comfy, good ambiance, sometimes has live music if musicians happen to be practicing there. Wish there were some more tea selections (London fog and chai tea would be nice)

First of all, the people here are super friendly. Secondly, the decor is right up my alley. Am not sure what style it is, but it is fun and refreshing and relaxing. The drinks are wonderful and the atmosphere is laid back. Definitely going to be a regular stop for me when I am in town.

Gestalt....something that turns out to be more than the sum of its parts. Look it up.This place definitely fits that bill. An old meat processing store in decades past it is a plain looking building hiding a fantasticinterior. Wood floors, wooden ceilings, huge doors, eighteen inch thick walls, two beautiful Quadrafire stoves (for you burning enthusiasts), ancient butcher block counters, and registers from the same era. It is clean, neat, cozy and would be a great place to meet a friend for coffee and quiet conversation.It hosts a plethora of painting supplies for the artist, much more than I expected, awonderful coffee bar AND they host art shows.We were there to see a display put on by a friend of ours. A husband and wife team whose paintings are very good. And Gestalt was the perfect place for it.Powell is a bit out if the way if you are in a hurry to get to Yellowstone, but if you have the time, Gestalt is worth a stop.

What a fun and relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend to come spend time to read, play a game, paint, enjoy coffee and pastries. The staff is amazing helping answer questions around art supplies and history of Powell and the building. Very beautiful place.

Leroy is one of the best coffee an tea makers in the city of Powell. Powell is very lucky to gave such an amazing person.

This is a gem in Powell! The staff is sweet, polite, and knowledgeable, and the owner is helpful and always available. The snacks are freshly made and pair wonderfully with the wide selection of coffee and teas offered. They have organic and vegetarian options as well as non-dairy and non-soy based options for your drink. Gestalt is flourishing, and brings life to the local economy and community.

I really have enjoyed every experience Ive had here, my favorite part is the aesthetic that the use of all of yesteryears technology provides. I realize that this is gallery, but to me the building itself is the real art here, I cant keep my eyes off of it.

This is a fantastic place for your art supplies, a relaxing atmosphere to practice your art endeavors, just sit around and enjoy a hot or cold drink and great company. They have great classes featuring a very wide variety of methods, instructors, mediums and models.

Polar Plant - Gestalt Studios is an Artists & Coffee Lovers Hidden Haven...Do Not Miss This Experience! It is just a short distance from Cody & the Park. Located about a block off the main highway inside of a Powell residential neighborhood. The Polar Plant is a gem hidden in an old Meat Packing Plant. Dont let the exterior facade fool you...Inside in the front, It has the vibe of a light & airy Laguna gallery, with beautiful Photo and Artworks...walk through to the back...to a completely different atmosphere to a darker wood barista bar & music hang out. We asked for a tour from the resident artists & found it has more rooms for private parties and open areas to paint, or study & just hang out. Great Coffee... & Do Not Miss the Scones! The people are genuinely friendly & make you feel good no matter what your day has been like!
