Lovely mixed use bike/walking trails! Well marked and feels very secluded despite being pretty close to the athletic areas. One complaint is that the trails have some occasional trash and graffiti and some of the materials used to keep the trails safe for biking arent the prettiest to look at but I understand why theyre necessary (e.g. vinyl liners poking out from under the soil in places, metal rebar/concrete retaining walls, etc.). Pretty lake as well. The gravel tracks can be somewhat busy even very early in the morning so keep that in mind. I dont have children but the different playgrounds and athletic areas seem super nice; if you can afford to go early on weekdays (~7:00am or so) theyre pretty empty from my experience.

Kids have a nice area to play. Great walking trail. And loads of fun watching softball/baseball games. Shoot they even play little league football there too.

The trails are beautiful but short. I sawlots of geese, ducks and other birds around the pond in the back of the park. Lots of baseball and social/football fields.

Two playgrounds, a lake, baseball and tennis, plus great bathrooms! We love this park.

Was invited to a cookout this labor day weekend at the Park. Ive driven by but never went in. I did have quite a good time. Children lived the playground. I found some interesting items walking the grounds. Treasure Hunter that I am. Very well manicured and I was in great company of family and friends. Will definitely visit more because they have court you can imagine there. Even our turtles had fun in their walk.

Nice picnic spot and fishing for the kiddies and dogs. Great denior6 center on same grounds.

If only they had a section for dogs, then it would get the 5 stars.

The place is big and beautiful, tennis courts, soccer fields and 2 play yards, we went to the big pond to teach the kiddos how to fish and for a small walk, unfortunately we saw a lot of garbage around it, people just letting fishing garbage and food packages near or in the water, we didnt see a single garbage container for people to disposed of it and some are too lazy to take it with them

Lots of diamonds. Enjoyed playing here as a kid and pick up games throughout high school.

Looks nice. Hiking trails and ballfields. Went there to vote at the rec center.

Been going there since 1996. Wide open walking and running track. Tennis courts. Baseball fields. Playgrounds. Fishing. What more can you ask for when it comes to a family park.

Have only been here twice, picked up a bit of trash after the fourth. Could use some cleaning but otherwise peaceful and quiet place for a bike ride, walk or hike and maybe catch a fish in the pond.

Took my kids to the park and everything was almost perfect

Huge park with 2 decent sized playgrounds. Theres a huge area for shade and benches close enough to the park to see the kids. The park itself didnt have much shade so I would skip this playground during the hot summer months.

Nice trails, great field for football/tag or picnic, lake is peaceful and fairly clean, has baseball fields and tennis courts towards the back - playground is clean and is nice for you kids that are super climbers! We enjoy this park very much.

Such a nice park. Had no idea there was a pond here. Multiple play grounds for the kids to play on. Even some with shade.

Love this park! They have a top notch program here for sports, softball, football and tennis. Theres probably more than that but league softball for my daughter was the bomb!

Beautiful park, great for a long or quick walk. I wear walking boots because of the gravel trails. If it has rained pretty well in recent days you might have to dodge muddy spots but its part of the outdoorsy experience

Love the kids playground that they have Lost Mountain Park. Safe for all ages four and up. My granddaughter loved the playground.

During the pandemic the park is empty but a quiet place to stop and relax without contact.

Absolutely love this park! Its big and lots of fields to run around in. The park in the back is completely covered so it doesnt get blistering hot on the equipment when its hot outside. Not sure if the awning keeps out rain though. Theres several baseball fields around the park as well. This is our favorite park in the area.

Beautiful park fun for everyone

This is solely based on fishing at the large lake portion. Ive been here several times within a year and have yet to catch anything bigger than a bream no matter the time, rig, or bait. I always speak to the Bass fisherman and they all say nothing is biting.

Lots of parking and always clean. Gets a bit muddy after a rain storm though.

Lost mountain has both a easy track around the baseball diamonds and paths that take you through the woods. It also has clean restrooms close by.

I have a bit of mixed emotions about this place. There are times we go in and the associate helping us will be friendly, and then there are times we will go in and they seem about inconvenienced by us. We never know what kind of visit it will be for us when we arrive.

Great complex. Next time you want to enjoy watching a game, take the family or a date here and watch a softball game. Much more fun and costs nothing. Better than going to a Braves Game !!

Multiple playgrounds here. Baseball fields. Walking trail around the ballfields. Lots of parking. The rec center has a big basketball court as well as rooms for other activities. I havent seen an outdoor basketball court here which is needed. Overall nice place.

Really enjoyed this park with the kids. There is a playground with a great deal of shade to stay out of the blistering sun. Swings interactive stations with music and lots of spinning sets!

This park is absolutely wonderful. The only thing I would improve is to repaint the speed pumps around the park. The speed pumps are difficult to see in the sun light and also when the are in the shadow of the trees.

I always enjoy watching my granddaughters play @ Lost Mountain. Great park!

Nice that the back one is 3/4 covered with a huge umbrella - when you see the red white and blue one, keep driving to the back. Nice equipment.

I take my son here for basketball games and its a welcoming environment. I actually use the large parking lot to teach my teen how to drive as well. Overall, this park has a variety of activities to offer. Please check their site. You will not be disappointed.

This is a really great park. It has two new playgrounds, and I really appreciate that the playground on the hill is covered in the summer. That playground can get really cold because the location on the hill can make you feel like youre in a wind tunnel, but my kids love to play on the cliffs and the rocks near there. There is a nice 1.5 loop trail that is fun for walking or jogging while the littles bike. The trails through the woods in the back are really nice - you could spend a long time walking around back there. We havent seen any snakes here (a con for us) but I love the big grassy hill near the fishing pond for flying kites. Weve been to the Farmers Market a few times in the summer on Tuesdays. Its about par for the course but I love when they have fresh apples from Elijay. We havent played tennis here yet but the courts look really nice. You have to pay to use them, and Ive heard they have a great tennis program. Ive only voted at the Boots Ward rec center but Ive seen that they have some programs going on during the week that look interesting.

Loved! I just started taking tennis lessons at Lost Mountain Park and the facility is amazing! The staff is super friendly and my tennis coach, Coach Jim, is the best ever!
