Sweetly quaint and personable. Unlike a typical museum, the staff let us wonder around up & down the historic home as we pleased exploring every nook & cranny! No plexiglass sterile walls or displays, it was as if we were back in time experiencing the moment. Visit while you can!
We stumbled upon this gem today. Its a wonderful, Gorgeous home that has been lovingly taken care of and donated to by the community to preserve Powder Springs history! Its free, they only ask for donations if you can spare and youre allowed to explore at your own leisure. Nice lady runs it! Lots of history inside of it and its a great place to bring kids.
The Seven Springs Museum is undeniably the nicest historic house Museum you will find. The displays cater to local history as far back as the early Native Americans. Through the ages you will find pieces from the Civil War, agricultural items, information on prominent residents and families, as well as rooms displayed with locally sourced antiques. My favorite spot is the research room, so much to discover in Powder Springs!
Really enjoyed learning more about Poweder Springs. I will definitely be back.
