I love our local movie theater; never crowded and always clean. I hope the Covid virus doesnt bankrupt the chain.

They fixed this theatre up fantastically. The seats recline and have heaters in them. You can order and eat food right at your seat. And ticket prices during the day are great.

AMC DURING COVID WAS AWESOME! I enjoyed myself very much on the first day of opening after covid. I saw constant cleaning and deep cleaning. Mask are required and all condiments are given in packets separately. Mask are required at all times except when you are eating snacks. Inside the theater I felt comfortable the whole time there was easily 10 people in the theater with me and we were all spread out at least 3 seats aparts if not more. I will def be going back to enjoy the experience again. I felt perfectly save and not inconvenienced at all.Also they have sanitizer and alcohol wipes everywhere

Nice theater, clean, really friendly associates and the popcorn was fresh. My only complaint was the seating.. Im a bigger girl and when they make the seats with the raised center its hard to sit. You put up the arm rest but there is still a bump there thats hard on the tush!! Otherwise I love AMC!!

Since riverside county closed theaters (Covid-19), my wife and took our date to to San Diego County. Very polite staff, clean theater, enjoyed my experience. Derik along with others had great attitudes. We will diffently drive down next date day, thanks guys.

AMC dine in Poway is the best movie theater experience in San Diego County. Especially considering the cost! Always great service as well. In a time when netflix and renting movies from your own home is the norm I think other movie theaters should take lessons from AMC Poway. The heated reclining seats, the service of them bringing the food right to you with a smile, they do everything right. Keep it up!

This theater was terrific with heated reclining chairs the theater would you rather small only seating for around 80 some odd people. The snack bar was terrific and they also have a full bar if you are of a mind to have a mixed drink while youre enjoying a movie! Will I go back heck yes next time Im down in Poway!

We love this theater with the new comfortable seats that have a warming option and it’s nice to have your food delivered to you. The menu is awesome and it’s nice to have a bar if you want a glass of wine or something. The staff is very nice and efficient. We joined the AMC a list and see three movies a week and since we are semi retired this works out really great for us, and we are close to home. Plus on Tuesdays you can see a movie for $6. We hardly recommend this theater!

Love this theater. My wife and I do not go to any other theater anymore. The atmosphere is nice and so are the staff. The seats are great (love the seat heater function). Bathrooms can use some work but Im sure that will come in time. I highly suggest trying this place out if you havent yet.

Good theater, but not great. I dont have any huge complaints. The reclining heated seats were extremely comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. The interior of the building itself was clean and well maintained. So the big stuff was all there. There were just a few minor details that could have sent it over the top. For instance, there was a major thud that shook the theater wall from the other side about 6 or 7 different times throughout the movie. (We were in theater 8 and it was the right hand wall.) And there were specks on the screen the entire time, as if the projector lens needed to be cleaned. There were a few other minor things that showed that a little more attention to detail could make this theater just as good as any other in the greater San Diego area.

The remodel of this AMC location is up to standard, and movie viewing is comfortable...but, prices will make me think twice before returning. Took two grand-kids on February 17th...11.99 per ticket (1 senior, 2 kids), and snacks were outragious $37.98 (2 small popcorn, 1 small soda, 1small slush. 1 liter water). The bottle water alone was $5.79 (can get same in retail grocery for $1.99). Grand Total = $73.95 [ BEWARE OF SNACK BAR ]

A really good theater. We didnt even realize it was here. Its closer than the Edwards in Mira Mesa and its much nicer. The seats are assigned. The theater is clean and spacious. From now on well go here.

I love this theater! Only been once, but definitely going back. The employees are very helpful and happy. The seats are amazing. They not only recline, but are heated too! You can order a full meal at the counter and they will deliver it to your seat. Will try that next time I go.

Amazing movie theater. Heated seat seats. That recline. Has a bar and good food . Sound is amazing big screen so even in the very back the movie looks like your right up front. Would recomend to anyone. And they have a rewards program

Alright this was my first time here to this theater and I have to say, this was awesome! A standard cinema you buy your ticket, drink, popcorn, maybe a pretzel, then sit in a seat and watch your movie.This place is the epitome of dinner and a show. You purchase your ticket, walk inside, and theres a menu! Burgers, salads, appetizers, etc. I dont drink but they have a bar as well.Its all assigned seating. You place your order, they make it, then they bring it to you! So cool! (I recommend the Royal Burger)When you get to your seat, its an electric recliner that will lay back and feet up. Theres a swivel tray attached with a cup holder for your food. Tonight was my first time being here and I was really impressed. Definitely a place to go to spoil yourself and significant other. A little pricey, but well worth it!

Great place to see a show! Reclining, tall seats with plenty of room and seat heaters. The food is good and you can have a good beer and enjoy the show.

Great place for movies even before the recent renovation. The new soda dispensers are amazing and the whole walk-in experience is great with organized lines and clean floors most of the day if nobody accidentally has spilled and popcorn. The new theatres have recliners that have been broken when I try to use then 2 times which doesnt matter too much except when I watched a 3 hour movie in an uncomfortable position. Overall one of the best movies theaters nearby and for a decent price especially on Tuesday.

Heated, reclining seats on winter day, perfect. Got dinner delivered to our seats was great. Pricing of the movie was great, but the dinner prices are a little high for movie food.

I cant believe they have such a huge bar in a theater. I loved the seats the only downside was the price of food but thats expected at most movie theaters. The movie looked clear and looked huge compared to the one in my small town. Overall great experience.

Finally saw Rise of Skywalker. Too busy at Christmas, came down with an upper respiratory infection after Christmas for almost 4 weeks. Bob and I were the only ones in the theater. Settled into the leather lounge seats feet up.. Lovely enjoyable afternoon. Loved the movie!

Very enjoyable venue for films. The selection ranges from the popular first run to the more uncommon independent films. Additionally the food is truly special. The dine in options are fantastic, the brussel sprouts are delightful.

This is a very nice theater that is one of the very few that offer concession delivery to your seat. They have also seemed to have figured out line management, as I have never been waiting long. The staff was quite friendly as well. Didn’t give that 5th star because the theater layout is a bit antiquated. The seats are comfortable and recline, but the flooring is not sloped and leads to having to look up more than other theaters.

Great heated seats that almost recline all the way back. Good temperature, and popcorn was fresh. Had to say I enjoyed this theatre! Coming here more often

Great movie entertainment venue... recently remodeled to in include food spirits and reclining, heated seats.

I purchased tickets for a movie two days ago for this evening. I received an email today letting me know that I was receiving a refund due to technical difficulties. I went to AMCs online chat and when I told them that this was poor customer service, I was told that it was better than getting to the theater and then being told about it and getting mad. I asked for the supervisor phone number, they provided a general number and ended the chat session. Then I called the theater and received a terse response that they are having technical difficulties and I am welcome to come see the movie at a later time. And to think I even paid $15 to become an AMC Stubs member! I wonder how they treat everyone else...

Seats are pretty comfortable...they recline and are heated. Food selection is good but of course pricey.

Theater is pretty cold and the gates seats help some but you have to dress warm to be somewhat comfortable. V the reclining seats are wonderful

My family and I saw Dolittle and really loved it. The recliner chairs are so comfortable and staff are great. Definitely recommended

My new favorite AMC for a date night with the wife !!!We have the AMC A-list and this theater is one of the options so we wanted to come out and try the “dine in “ experience.The food was good, only issue is you must be clear with the staff as I wanted chicken instead of beef for my burger.I thought it was going to be like Arc Light, where we ordered at our seat. But, the food came right to our seats during the trailers.I just wished maybe if someone pj led up the food trays during the movie.Highly recommend to try this theater out !

What can you say? Easy to reserve seats online, heated reclining seats, great projection with quality sound, and plenty to eat and drink. Oh, senior and kids prices too.

Great venue, love the seats with the heat and recliner option and the fact of not having to share a space with so many people.Food is overpriced and quite bad. We were looking forward to having some nice food while at the movie, but it did disappoint. The food came too early, it was cold and bland.Service is great and staff is friendly and pleasant.Definitely better than a regular movie theater, just stick to the popcorn.

First impression was that they tried to copy Angelika but didnt quite make it. Still has the old theater look, the floors were dirty in the main lobby. The theater was nice, good sound system, and with heated seat, which was the turning point for me. Overall it was an enjoyable movie experience.

Very clean theater, popcorn was so so. Chicken mac and cheese was good. Freaking charge you a dollar to deliver the food to you. Not cheap.

Seating is comfortable, but leaves you looking up at the screen from every seat. Bathrooms are located far away from the screen, meaning youll miss 3-5 minutes of a movie if you need to go. Due to a water problem, no popcorn or fountain drinks were available. Even though this is a city wide problem, I feel that the theater shouldve informed customers before purchasing tickets. I also believe that good business practice shouldve led them to offer an alternative, or vouchers for future. Not looking for handouts, but customer satisfaction should come first. Always.

So everything about this place should be a 5, but I have 2 complaints. We could hear the movie in the theatre next to us. Big banging and exploding noise the entire time. 2nd problem is the screen is really high up. You have to sit farther back than usual to be seated high enough to be at eye level and even though the seats lay back, its not ideal to be watching a movie at that angle. Otherwise, food is really good and service is good!

Great seats delicious food sure overpriced but that’s EVERY theater. The seats were heated and you could even RECLINE. Made the watching experience amazing. Felt so comfy and the customer service is great. They gave us tickets since they didn’t give us all our food. Will come again to watch an AMC movie.

Nice theater that tends to be play more diverse cinema. The trays attached to the seats are cumbersome and at times uncomfortable.

The staff are great and courteous. Its a small theater, and the layout of it isnt that great because theres a lot of distracting light from the doors but the seats are really comfy! Over all would go again but not my top choice in theatre.

Loved that they updated the seats - now has a recline and foot rest. Also the seats are not sets of 2 so you can be an odd number group and sit together. Other theaters have a space every 2 seats, not this one. Also, there isnt a bad seat in the house. Back, side, center all get good views. You can also order food to be delivered to your seat.

The theater is great! The food is good, the seats are excellent!!! But the lack of seats is horrible. I paid $50 to be in their preferred program they try to up sale you with. They should have one row reserved for VIP members that pay that fee to be a part of their program. I went to the theater two times in a row and was unable to get a seat. They are completely sold out over an hour before the movie. I tried to get tickets to see Aqua man with my family over the weekend and could not get five seats together and I went to the theater to purchase them 6 hours before showing. I was not going to leave a bad review because I truly like the theater but this is the second time in three weeks I had to go to another theater to watch a movie when I am a resident in Poway and pay to be a VIP member. They need to have seats reserved for at least an hour before show times for the preferred members. Unless they change something about this problem my review will stay the same. Anyone reading this needs to know that if they plan on going to a popular movie and have more then two people with them they need to buy their tickets a day ahead of time.

One star for the beautiful decor, restaurant and full bar. Another star for the courteous service from the staff and delivered food service to your seat. Another star for the comfy recliner seats with heating options and room to relax and eat. Minus one for the exorbitant prices on food and snacks but thats everywhere right? Overall great theater.

I love how AMC revamped this theater. Ive been going here for a long time and have seen it change names 3 times. Reclining seat is are narrower than Cineopolis or Angelika, but still comfortable. You can sit in row 2 (or B) and not feel too close to the screen. The app is awesome. I love being able to buy tickets on the app and have the tickets on my phone.

Heated recliners were very nice. Unfortunately all the vending machines went down but the manager made it right with a free AMC drink coupon and a large bottle of water. The next day we found out that the entire city was put under a boil water advisory.

I would have to say the best feature of this stadium style movie theater is the heated seats. The bar that actually makes drinks and pours beers this second.

Not great. My husband and I went there on a date, which is hard to do when you have to get a babysitter and then make time to actually go. When we got there I ordered a coffee which tasted like it had been sitting there forever so I went to put cream and sugar in it and they only had sugar. Customer service was fine but who doesnt have creamer for their coffee? Also the place needs a little pick me up, it just looks dark and dingy.

Ive never had a bartender (John) as personable or likeable as I found in this quaint little theater. Was worth the trip out just to sit and talk over a few drinks. Worth the admission price just to sit on the stool!

The kitchen was having technical difficulties so we were unable to order food. Need to keep turning the heat on the seat on and off cause it starts to overheat even on the low setting. Then suddenly will feel cold after 2 minutes of it being turned off. If I hadnt pre purchased my tickets I would have left. I only went to that specific theater because the selection of food items available. Also the seats are too close together to get comfortable. The person next to me kept pushing her trash on her table closer to my table and ended up ontop of my table and on the floor.

Used to love this theater.... but.... its always so dirty now, seats are broken every time and its not that old. Wish there was more pride in this newer remodeled house of entertainment.

The theater we were in was weird. Every seat feels like its too close. Heated recliner seats are awesome!

I was quite impressed with the Royal burger. Very tasty and delivered to my seat. You order first outside the theater and then they deliver it to your recliner seat. Many of the other options looked tasty as well, althpugh i probably wont frequent this theater to try them, as i live down in Ocean Beach. The burger had arugula, fig jam and brie, and then a royal sauce which I cant really describe but added to the overall flavor profile by adding a little more salt to offset the fig a bit. There is a place near the trash you can self bus your tray at at the end of the movie.

Heated reclining seats a plus. Could improve the beer selection. Food delivery is a mess.

Movie was great. Meal was very expensive. Done once cant contciously spend that much again. AMC should be kind enough to put prices. It sure would help. Like I said great movie!

Seats very comfy. I really like the heater it sometimes gets little cold in there. The food was amazing. Flat bread pizza was so delicious! And I love you dont have to wait they bring to your seat... also you get to pick your seat so no rushing to get in. It is a smaller theatre though so not as many movie choices as other locations but I still highly recommend.

I like that they converted this place to a luxury theater. Only knock is the main restrooms are upstairs and all theatres are downstairs. Employees are nice.

Went to the 9:15“ pm showing of Ford vs. Ferrari. After 20 minutes of previews the 9:15 showing finally started at 9:35. I dont go to theaters much anymore so I didnt know Id have to sit thru so many commercials and previews. Next time I wont be so prompt.Popcorn was EXTREMELY salty. Next time Ill order no salt (if its available...)I love the new concept where they have food you can order to be delivered to your reclinable seat.

Wish I could give 0 stars!! Horrible experience manager was completely rude and doesnt know proper customer service. I dont normally rate AT ALL but their behavior was so unacceptable I felt as if its necessary. If you want to be talked down to by kids who are your childrens age WITH NO APOLOGIES, youve found the right theater. I got a refund from AMC(poway) and went to Edwards theater instead which had the next showtime for our movie.

Is one of our favorite theaters as we live in Rancho Bernardo so its very close. There are some issues at this theater, several times I ordered something at the counter and it was never delivered to my seat and I had to go back to the counter and retrieve it which totally defeats the whole purpose of getting delivery to your seat that you pay a dollar for each time it was never reimbursed back to me for. No real explanation was provided and being that you already have to leave the theater typically once the movie started the last thing you want to do is wait for the theater manager to rectify this issue which will take you away from the movie you there to watch in the 1st place, so yes, quite irritating, Because of this I do not order anything from the counter that Im not willing to wait there for. As for another negative the bathrooms upstairs are not well kept. The only bathroom downstairs is located between theaters 6 and 10 and always smells of pee, all the other theaters bathrooms are located upstairs and are by no means convenient. Also another strange thing is the entry and exit from your seat is partially blocked by the lap trays that open close youll see what I mean when you sit down. Besides these small things the theaters great

This theater was recently upgraded with reclinable, heated seats. They also have a much better menu and food will be brought to your seat. The experience is much comfortable and enjoyable.

Good seating need to fix the window in the door to the viewing theater very distracting with light coming in. Only in certain seats but still. Easy fix that should be taken care of. Other than that great theater.

Virginia beach has it better. More service oriented and not late with the food. Went to order and young kid made a joke at my expense to make the other waitress giggle. He told us he couldnt answer questions about the menu because it was his first day. I say gove the young man more training before letting him interact with the public. Fries were cold and over cooked. Burger ok but nothing special. Very disappointed with the young African American kid at the counter. He was disrespectful and needs training. Movie was good but 50 dollars for food with poor service will have me trying out a different theater next time. Oh yeah, we could hear sounds from the next theater. Not recommend this place.

I came to the Poway theater on Friday Sept 21 to see if they still had discount Tues. I had not placed an order online before and it told me the discount would be taken when I checked out. I bought 3 tickets for tues..Sept 24 but I was charged $31. I immediately put in for a refund. I went to the theater to buy the 3 tickets. I arrived at 11 am Sept 23 and was told they didnt open till 12:30. I came back at 12:30 and told by the manager they didnt open till 1:30. I tried to tell him what had happened and he said I was being rude. I came back at 1:30 and started talking to the guy on the ticket booth. The manager came up to listen and he butted in and told me I was rude and he wouldnt sell me the tickets and that I wasnt welcome in the theater. I was upset but not rude. Didnt raise my voice or use bad language and he argued with me that I was rude. Ive been going to the Poway theater for over 15 years and never had such a bad experience. I hope the management will look into Reynard and his attitude....very disappointed

Getting a bit run down. Weve been here a few times in the past, but last night was probably our last. Seats are not comfortable and it actually smelled bad. Needs to be renovated, updated and cleaned. Its a little cheaper than other theaters and rarely has crowds, but because of the seating you cant have anyone taller than a toddler sit in front of you or the screen can be partially blocked. If you need to save a few bucks and dont mind a little older theater with uncomfortable seats then the movie will be fine. Just sit close enough to not be distracted by people opening the door and letting in light during the movie.

Quick, good, neat service. Clean theatres and food was delicious. The person I ordered from, Ryan, was friendly and quick with helping me find out what I wanted to eat and also helped me renew my Stubs account extremely easily.Will be going back for more points!P.S. Aladdin also 5/5 btw!

First time Ive been to a dine in AMC. Liked it a lot. Especially the reclining chairs. Chair also comes with heater. Food is average though.

Nice theater. Recently renovated to be an upscale place, with reserved seats and trendy food.The theaters are high quality. big screens and good sound. The seats are comfortable power recliners. And they have SEAT WARNERS, which is great if you are the kind who gets cold easily.Food prices are kind of high compared a regular theater, but what weve had is pretty good. And they deliver your food to your seat, which is very convenient.

Bathrooms could have been cleaner. Food prices were a bit much, We did love the heated seats.
