Great hike for panoramic views and a rewarding summit. Go early or late, no shade. Bring a light and watch the full moon rise after sunset.

Good hike. Unfortunately, for that reason, its also very popular. If youre looking for a quiet hike, this is not your best choice. If youre looking to enjoy a hike and break a sweat with 100 or more of your fellow hikers, then youve found the right place. I am more of a quiet hiker, so I tend to go early and miss most of the crowd. Right around 4 am usually works.
