Actually the first time I was able to get some help on the salesfloor at any of these stores. Usually they are short staffed and only use staff to restock, organize and ring and customer service tends to a minimal focus.

Had a case that didnt have dividers to make more space for my beautiful crystals I collect. Had my receipt and they exchange it no problem!! And i got 40% off with a coupon on their app!!!

So many options. Always clean. Staff is very friendly & helpful. I dont mind spending a couple extra bucks for stuff I could get elsewhere for less. Which most of the time doesnt last as long either.

Best framing service in SD!

We booked a party for my daughter here and online it states that invitations are included. They never gave us any and it has been a run around to get an answer about this and on top of that they only have blank invitations. The themed ones wont be in for a week or two weeks and in that time frame my daughter and her class will be out for Winter Break. Her birthday is the 28TH of December so it is already hard enough to get a party together around this time. Plus we live in Lakeside but she goes to school in Poway because if I need help, my parents live in Poway. I went in yesterday and apparently only certain people know about the whole birthday party information which is highly unprofessional IMO and I never received a phone call back. I had to call today to be told I can get a pack of blank invitations. Again highly unprofessional to not have the items needed and for not EVERYONE who works there KNOWS about birthday parties so that they can answer questions about it when someone has a question. So now I have to use blank invitations to invite kids to a 5 year olds birthday party not to mention have to drive out of my way to pick them up when I was JUST THERE yesterday. Would have been so much easier if they trained their staff more sufficiently.

They have anything crafty you would need! Sometime can be a little pricey, but youre able to get coupons all the time. Love this store!

Almost always find what I need.

Michaels is a great place to go for artists who are beginners. I am a advanced artist but like the quality of their products to mix colors. The brand Artist Loft is great. They do have high end art supplies but the brands and options are not as excellent as Blicks Art store in Little Italy San Diego.

Always fun. Bonus, Halloween items were 70% off! Lol.

Great store. Bought some craft supplies to do with the kids today. Found everything we needed. Make sure you sign up for rewards to get all of the coupons. Coupons make it a great buy.

No staff on the floor, only one checkout stand, lots of people in line. Staff did not know products or product location. Limited product availability. Store was dirty, and ladders blocked the aisle(s).

This review is for their picture frame glass cost only.OMG! They want $46 for one piece of clear thin glass 18 x 19 cut to size. Nothing else.It costs $10 at my local glass store.Dont buy glass here.

It is the holiday time, Im in the store on my one day off, there are 14 people in line and only two cashiers. Hey corporate, pay your executives less and hire more people for customer service.

Wow, what great service! The employees are knowledgeable and willing to help and answer any questions you may have. I was a happy shopper for much longer than I planned LOL one item quickly turned into a shopping list of what I have been meaning to get because of them.

I always love going to Micaels but hate how much money I always spend ;)

A great craft store for their size and locations. I generally can find something to help with a project. Their coupons have been integral in art project for my kids classrooms. Planning ahead is all it takes.

This store has a little of everything. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. Everyone is friendly. However the location can be pretty messy depending on the day. Most likely due to heavy traffic being in Poway central.

Since they moved to this location, I think theyve expanded the amount of things they sell there, though the wood working section is a little small (seems like there are more wooden house type kits at every other Michaels I go to). Thats the only negative though. Staff had always been friendly knowledgable, its generally very very clean here and theres always a lot of fun stuff for holiday shopping.

Store is clean, organized. Friendly staff, asked me if I needed help finding items. Better of the two local Michaels stores in my opinion despite being a bit smaller than the Carmel Mountain store.

Great store havent been to Michaels in poway since its old location, this one is really organized and people are very help love they occasional raffles for store shoppers.. happen the day I was there..spoiler alert I didnt win.

Great service! Employees helped find a special cookie cutter needed for my baby shower. Dfound it online but could not locate in store. Turns out it was in a bin on top of all the racks. Minus a star for not allowing me to use more than one coupon at checkout.

Only craft store in a 10-15 mile radius to this location. They have a good selection, but are sometimes lacking the one-off things you may be looking for. Not as big of a selection as Hobby Lobby. Lines are long close to holidays - they need a little more help at check out.

Michaels is your typical arts and crafts store. They do have a big selection of items to choose from. Their prices are a bit high, but with their coupons, the prices can be quite reasonable...

Staff here is generally very helpful and knowledgeable. Corporate publishes a variety of coupons every week, and there are many seasonal sales, so theres almost never a reason to pay full price.

Same as any Michaels. However, this location is a bit smaller, do the selection isnt quite as big. Clean and quiet.

Lots of crafting supplies. Sign up for their coupons otherwise the price is a bit high. The line for help with fabric can be quite long during holidays.

I have shopped here many times because I love their products and variety. I will also add it is always clean and the employees are kind and helpful. But this is the second time that I open a package and something is missing! The first time was some wedding photo booth props and I let it slide because I didnt have the time to go back, plus I figured it got returned with missing parts and it slipped by them. But this time I purchased an 11 piece pink banner and it only had 10 inside. (For a baby shower and I needed exactly 11 pieces to spell Its a girl) so I am very disappointed that they dont check returns carefully enough to make sure the next person gets what they paid for. Personally they have great deals and coupons so I will continue to shop here but I will pay closer attention to my purchases to avoid so many trips back
