Came here to see a movie. It was a great overall experience. The staff (or possibly volunteers) were all friendly and informative. The bar was open, so we were able to have a drink before going in (unfortunately, drinks are not allowed inside the theater.) They also had a small selection of candy available for purchase.

Saw Hot Tuna December 5, 2019. The performance was exemplary and the sound was exquisite. Every guitar and bass note was crystal clear and resonated brilliantly. The ambience of the Bardavon is sublime. The architecture is traditional, antebellum I believe, but the sound system is ultramodern. A wonderful place to transcend the present day.

Really no bad seats. Theatre is so cozy people were interacting with Gladys Knight from all parts of the audience. Had seats in the front row in the mezzanine. They are little cramp and can get uncomfortable quickly and I’m not a big guy .. 5’9” 185 Ibs. Was a bit warm and uncomfortable when we arrived but they appear to adjust the thermostat accordingly. Only bummer is they don’t allow you to have refreshments at your seat. Parking was easy .. was able to park out in front for free. Decent French restaurant around the corner .. Brasserie 292 .. compared to NYC .. the prices were great.

Beautiful setting for all kinds of shows. Staff is very nice and helpful, including the house manager, shes very knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, its a great venue!

Great experience on the Hudson Valley Philharmonic,Joshua Bell was magnificent !!Also, the the side energy of the pianist.Truly a great piece for the piece of every beautiful Humans to feel & become on within.

The Bardavon is an amazing, lovingly restored 1869 Opera House. Todays entertainers are from most aspects of modern arts including dance, theater, film, comedy and of course, music.

Easter at the Bardavon with Valley Christian Church 2019 was incredible !!

An historical theatre, great performance, great seats, great sound. Easy parking.

I love the Bardavon, Ive been to dozens of shows there. Its a lovely venue, all the seats are good, and the staff and volunteers cant be beat! In the past two years the quality of the sound has declined. Levels off, cables missing on stage, missed cues, etc. It distracts from the performances and happens time and time again. Keep this local gem going and do visit.

Very cute little theater. Municipal parking around the corner is very convenient. Unlike some other concerts Ive gone to where there are seats, the chairs were pretty comfortable, and not super thin. I would love to come back for a comedy show. From what I could tell, theres no real bad seat in the theater.

Amazing! I went with my husband and daughter to see Blue October we are from NH. It was such a Beautiful building! The show itself was mind blowing.

What a great old theatre. So glad they have the 150 year history on the wall for all to read. We saw the Nutcracker ballet. It was so beautiful.

Always a great time when my children are performing here

Place was decent had a great time at Weird Al... However what was up with the extreme amount of ushers? Seemed like way too many and was unnecessary. Had been there early for VIP .. and was there after for the meet and greet. Had a VIP pass around my neck and a meet and greet pass on my chest. This old usher bat rudely asked to see my pass.. What a old witch she wasthe pass Nazi. So i showed her. Heard other people complaining about the way she was harassing people as well.. Took me a few seconds to get kind of mad at her as well. So I stood up backed into her and said hows this for a pass? I proceeded to let her rip and passed gas on her and she knew it. I know she was doing her job but doing it as if she were on a power trip. Get rid of her shed driving patrons away.

There is not a bad seat in theater. The sound is always good. Go, see a show. Be a member!

Good theater. All seats have clear view of stage. Suggest lower balcony for optimimum view for any event. Parking close by for nominal fee and right of side street. Saw Mummenshanz puppet mime show for matinee. Very reasonably priced. Good venue to get culture without hassle of travel to NYC if you are on a budget.

Talk about checking an item off of your bucket list. La Boheme was very moving, everything about the show met my expectations. If you have never been to an opera you are missing out on a True experience.

GORGEOUS, beautifully renovated, timelessly classic, elegant theatre. Love going here for concerts.

Last weeks Bob Dylan concert was poorly organized and executed. The Smorgasburg food venue was so inadequate that concert goers had to wait in line for a minimum of one hour for each food vendor and the beer/wine vendor. If you wanted beer and food it was two hours online. Concert goers were encouraged to come early and have dinner and were promised an very large food venue. There were 4 food vendors, one ice cream stand, and one beverage stand in the food pavilion.The acoustics at the Hudson Brickyard were sub standard. The sound mixing was poor and the band was so loud that you could not understand a single work Dylan was singing.At $125 a pop for tickets I feel disappointed and taken advantage of.
