We arrived at the Arboretum for a Dog Event. We enjoyed a pleasant stroll by stands and petting of pups. We were pleasantly surprised by the Arboretum as we didnt know of is existence. We learned that it is sponsored by Green Allies but essentially used by several high schools for students to run it and planning of events for learning experience. We plan to return to explore the trails. They already have a childrens garden and a pond deeper on the property which they plan to use for wetlands education. If your into yoga Wednesday evening they have outdoor yoga.

We had a nice family hike through the woods here. I was surprised by how long the trails were. They have a farmers market once a month that looks to have some nice vendors, but it is during the work week. We will be back when the weather is cooler for another hike.

Awesome program. Everything is student run, designed for students, and brings in the community. Lots of trials to walk on, places for team building, and generally a great place to learn about the environment. Worth a trip. Look got upcoming programs.

The owners have done a great job rejuvenating the area and taking care of the property. The events are family friendly and fun, and theres always something going on. Like most parks, its open sun up to sun down, and is a nice quiet place to take your children to play and explore.

Such a neat and unique place. Its a nature reserve that is designed and managed by students. They have some great fundraisers like a native plant sale and a Harry Potter day where kids can pick their own sticks then make a broom with the and learn to play quidditch! Nice trails and beautiful scenery.

I have visited this place multiple times and I can say that it is worth a visit if you are nearby. The arbotetum acts like a wildlife and tree sanctuary with minor human interference throughout and it feels like you are experiencing the local environment. Walking the paths feels like an experience to connect with the natural environment. This natural park has places for long, comfortable walks through a multitude of terrains. The paths are never too hard to walk along, although one might get a little confused about their whereabouts. There are places for kids to go and play, open fields to run and play around in, and places to walk your dog with ease. The paths are not hard to traverse, so most able-bodied people should have no problems here. The only issues would be problems with wheelchair accessibility and a lack of amenities.Although I wouldnt travel out of my way to come here, if you are in the area it is worth a visit.
