Went in to the visitors center. Very informative! There is a great number of things to do,sights to see and places to eat. We look forward to exploring it all.
Area is very nice, calm and fast pace. Only issue is its one-way streets. I deliver in this area on a daily bases. Be aware of the beggers that are downtown. For the kids, stop by the childrens museum. Ive been going since grade school.
No places to park your car. Beautiful historical house. Nice atmosphere.
Portsmouths local government needs to do a little more for their community. This lovely area could die if not cultivated. The tunnel has not done Portsmouth any services and theclocal government seems to do nothing about it. Very sad
Nice older homes. Work on HVAC systems in the area. Quite a few rental homes and apts in the area.
Love walking along its streets. Great vibe and nice people
My home town. Portside is beautiful come see for self
One of my favorite little cities to take an afternoon stroll in.
Olde Towne has so many delicious chef-owned restaurants - 18 of which offer alfresco dining. You can relax and enjoy a cold craft brew from Legend Brewing Depot or try the award-winning seafood at Fish & Slips Marina Raw Bar & Grill. After dinner you can stroll the newly opened boardwalk at sunset and watch the busy waterway at work. The simple pleasures of a good meal in a beautiful location make any day special.
Love to walk around
If you are into old south nostalgia, this place is for you. Plus you can take the 10 minute ferry ride to Norfolk and tour a real U.S Navy ship.
Very nice
Beautiful view
I love Olde Towne. Theres so much history - the largest collection of 1700-1800 architecture between Charleston, SC and Arlington, VA - and it has an incredible community of residents and business owners. Not to mention some great restaurants and our own craft distillery Copper and Oak. My favorite Olde Towne features are the old brick sidewalks and huge old growth trees that shade the streets.Fun fact - Benedict Arnolds headquarters was on the corner of Middle and High Streets, the same building that is now the Coffee Shoppe across from the Childrens Museum.Disappointed to see people go out of their way to leave negative reviews about the historic district considering its the most significant one in Hampton Roads. I understand its easy to pick on Portsmouth but the Olde Towne Historic District really is a great place and there are a lot of people working hard to make it even better.
Looks nice but nothing to offer here. Looks like a ghost town :(
Customers service was great
Wonderful.
I live close and its a different experience each time I go down there
Nice area
It is still Portmouth.
