We went for the Pink Talking Fish Show for Kids and the venue space was everything I could have hoped for. There was plenty of parking nearby, coat racks for winter coats, clean restrooms and kid friendly items at the bar!! Amazing! They thought of details that went above and beyond. The band was fantastic and totally a jam sesh. They incorporated kid themes and engaged them so well! The taco place connected was the perfect place to grab a bite after. We will return for other events.

Between the welcoming staff and wide selection of art/performances, 3S offers a unique environment that is ready for you to explore! The local art community is flourishing in Portsmouth NH, and it thrives on the involvement of creative minds. The community at 3S is perfect for all who wish to feel inspired.

Evening with Bette Levette was a good one. This 73 year old woman still has a BIG chunk of r&b and soul to belt out. Amazing that this woman comes on stage minus a sound check, ( waste of time, I think she related to us ) and was like WOW. Heck, she didnt need a microphone.Great voice, good show, and very nice job by the half her age pianist.Enjoyed.

. They have awesome What a delightfully intimate venue. Reminds me of a high school gym Auditorium. The sound is amazing. There is a restaurant there and a lovely gallery. Was there on a Saturday night, it was easy to find off highway, parking was right near and abundant. However it was pretty pricey to pay for parking. They have awesome family nights with roller skating parties and it seems like it is a cultural gem for the sweet little town of Portsmouth thats becoming quite a little City.

I really love my experience for music venue at 3 SR space here in Portsmouth New Hampshire. At only 4 years old this complex has nothing to complain about is a separate art gallery performance area and extremely popular restaurant called tacos tequila and whiskey. I will not hesitate to come back.Parking at present is limited on the street but there are pay parking lots dotted throughout the area. And it looks like a new parking garage is well under construction.

I love the gallery here! It is an interesting space, with very high ceilings and a huge window, making it an intriguing place for exhibits. Their exhibits rotate fairly often, so there is a lot to see.Their performance room is a great space! While the room is unassuming, they have lots of fantastic shows, ranging from Pechakucha and music shows, to comedy and dance parties.

It can be a little challenging to find parking here! I did manage to get a parking ticket this evening, but turns out it was only for 10 bucks... Which ended up being cheaper than feeding the meter, LOL. The venue has a bit of a warehouse feel, with a polished concrete floor.

Industrial decor with a minimalist look. Art gallery is right next door (closes at 8 pm) and theres a lot of parking available.Drinks are well priced and the bartenders do a great job. Decent amount of beers on tap, but limited for a town like Portsmouth. They offer farm to table food, but I only came for drinks and dessert. They have house made ice-cream with flavors that always change.Closes pretty early for Portsmouth but the bar will stay open for a crowd.

I actually dont know what Im more surprised about, the overall good reviews on this restaurant or how incredibly terrible the experience really was. First and foremost; let me start by saying if you have any sort of appetite GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Everything we ordered from the $9 weak cocktails to the outrageously over priced entrées were minuscule!! Even the water goblets looked like they were for a small child. The waitress was polite but basically forced an appetizer on us almost knowingly that the entrées were not going to fill us up. We ended up ordering the ribs off the appetizer menu which was tasty, but nothing that you could split with another person. Three small ribs and 2 slices of egg plant, hence my rib and half I split with my partner. Dont be fooled by their misleading prices and pictuers on their website either, my entrée that I was looking forward to getting all day was the scallops for $22 which included 4 or 5 slightly large bay scallops and some green beans, I was nearly beside myself after I finished my plate in about 3 minuets. I was with a party of about 12 with long time friends and colleagues and no one else would disagree with this review. Everyone had a shocking look of their face when they received their checks, because of the lack of good service, portions and astronmical prices. I could literally only describe this dining experince as utterly and completely ridiculous and could not wait to leave. We made sure we left less than the appropriate amount for a tip about 13% in hopes that maybe this would make an impression on the staff to get things right, in anyway possible....good luck Block Six more like Block SUCKS!
