Great drinks good food friendly staff!!

The quintessential dive bar. If you like shuffleboard they have it here. The bartenders are pretty cool too. But dont go for the food. They have some good drink specials and karaoke on Saturday Sundays and Tuesday nights which is awesome

Great dive in bar with affordable prices. Karaoke is Thursday nights and live music on Friday nights. There are 2 shuffleboard tables and a pool table. There are some Oregon lottery machines inside. Staff is friendly and quick on their feet.

We went on a night with live music, so it was louder than we had wanted, but the bartender was amazing. He was attentive even though they were busy, shared stories, and even showed me something interesting on his phone. Will definitely go back.

Drinks are great price, but the Karaoke host doesnt pay attention enough and he turns the volume on your microphone down whenever he pleases, which I find highly irresponsible. Other than that I dont have any other complaints.

Its a little divey but I think its fun. Has a small town bar kind of feel. The bartender Alaric is always nice, and works fast. The shuffleboard is a cheap way to stay occupied between karaoke songs. And the mozzarella sticks are bomb.

The Rumpus Room is a great place to see local bands perform free. The people who run the bar are very nice and friendly. Id recommend this venue location to anyone who loves to rock out!!

Fun dive bar! Great shuffleboard tables with and equally great price. Bartenders are friendly, drinks are priced right and they get those deep fried tasty bites (fries, chicken strips & shrimp) done just right... yummy.

Drinks were cheap and good. Bartender was holding it down on Halloween by herself. Super nice and she did an amazing job.

It’s fine. Dive in a way that only an East Portland dive can be. Meaning, patrons are there for the lotto, and decent amount of tweakers, junkies and homeless who are seemingly regulars. Decent prices tho, and the bartenders are always friendly. It has potential to be better if they could get rid of some of the scum. Also: fix the sign! The neon is great. Wish it worked.

There was a review that mentioned tweaker regulars? that is not the control of the bar.it is a laid back and awesome bartenders. each one tries to make conversation and you and your crew. cheap drinks and awesome prices for higher end alcohol. would recommend if youre not into the big scene.

This bar is punk rock. Got every song, where eagles dare, hallowed by thy name. F- yeah. Servers are legit, cheap (good) food. Heart of Portland right here.

I play music here on Thursdays open jam.

The staff is undertrained and wouldnt let me sit out front in smoking section on front porch and take a water out there with me. The waitress came outside and demanded my water which she would not even take it back inside she made me get up and carry it back inside myself. What a total cranky chick. Lecturing me to not drink water outside...what the ffff ever chickie. I will not likely be back...ever.

Place sucks. They overcharged us by 27 dollars for food and we had no food! We had to drive all the way back for a refund. And the shots were short as hell! So I asked for a double and she gave it about a second and a half extra poor, still not even half the glass. AND SHE BARELY SPOKE ENGLISH! thank God I won on video poker or else the night would have been a complete loss. (If you go to this place, get a receipt before you leave.)
