Well, I took my Grandson here to see a Magic Illusion Show. We loved the show, especially the floating lady and the funny Vent with the bird. Really liked the snack bar too, everything was a dollar. Then we went to the Magic Shop down in the Mall. It was kinda overwhelming, they have so much magic and jokes, but luckily the magician there helped him get a few tricks he could do. My wife and I have visited this shop 3 times now and will keep coming back. I originally came into the shop to see what kinds of playing cards they stock. I have searched the Portland area for a local place to buy cards from since I collect them. There really hasnt been many options until I found this store. I spoke with Mark at the store about playing cards for a bit and he was able to show me a few rare decks he had for sale. Mark is super friendly and very passionate about magic I can tell. He even did a few magic tricks for us and we were both amazed. He mentioned if I saw a deck online that I liked, he could try and order it for me. This is extremely nice since online shipping fees can add up. I have already recommended this shop to a few people and I will continue to do so with anyone I meet that might be interested.I originally came into the shop for cards, but my last visit I got a magic trick to learn. This store follows the magicians code which is really cool and adds mystery to the craft as it deserves. Mark was really good about giving hints and tips about the trick I got. So now I am confident I have what I need to learn the trick myself and go back there and show him. The shop has a wealth of knowledge about magic in form of several books / dvds and Mark himself. This is super exciting and was not expecting to be learning magic!Not only did my wife and I get some nice playing cards and a magic trick, we also got advice on things to do on our upcoming Vegas trip. Also, because of another suggestion from Mark, we bought tickets to see Jason Latimer, World Champion of Magic at the OMSI on Saturday. We have not yet been to the Magic Theater part of the shop, but we plan on going to an event as soon as we can.Overall, I would highly recommend this store to anyone that wants playing cards, magic tricks, joke items and see a magic trick or two!Thanks Mark and All American Magic!

Owner was very helpful and patient, and had great recommendations for a gift for our nephew. He demonstrated each item with skill, and explained why each would help develop a young magicians skills. It was fun to see neighboring kids watching with awe.

Couldnt wait for this place to open! Entertained ourselves with the wavy fun mirrors they had outside the door until they opened. Friendly customer service!

This place isThe show we saw at the All American Magic Theater was extremely amateurish. It was advertised as being a professional show, but it was more like something junior high school aged people would put together. I have nothing against beginners doing shows, but just dont charge money for it and advertise it as being a professional show.

This is a great place to purchase anything you need (if youre a magician). If you are a total beginner, this place isnt for you. When I went, I got a lot of help from the guy there, and he told me a lot of things that made me better pretty quickly. This is a great place, and I totally recommend going there as soon as you can. It will help you a lot.Again. This has everything you need, but you have to know a little before going.

Great experience for me. It was my first time being in a magic shop and it was amazing. The owner helps a lot and isnt pushy. It would be better if it was open a little later though.

The store exists an extra dimensionality. The way that Mark pull things out of nowhere is truly magical. He has everything, and if he doesnt have it right away he can get it for you.

We had a lot of fun..snacks were very cheap and there was a lot of audience interaction which really made it fun... The 3 of us left smiling & had a great time...
