I took a class The Impressionists Magic Bullet With Alan Scott-moncrieff. It was the worst art class I took in my life. Complete waste of money and time. Do not register for entire session as they do not give refunds. For a non profit this place is very profit oriented. Quality of instruction is very bad. If you are looking for quality art education, look elsewhere.Response: I took his class in March of this year. I emailed to you multiple times asking for refund or let me use the fee for any other classes I might take in future. I paid $385 for entire term and attended only two classes.
The help I received from Emily Fox, Education and Programs Manager, went above and beyond setting up the workshop I taught. She checked to be sure the technical connections for a projected presentation were working smoothly on the day of the workshop. Martha Norrie and Alleyn Yasskin also helped me prepare for the workshop. The staff and volunteers are professional and efficient.
Top-notch classes and workshops, as well as free monthly demonstrations, gallery shows, and community outreach activities.
Excellent art instructors in a friendly welcoming environment. Lovely gallery too.
The art gallery was very worth a stop-in during a walk in the larger neighborhood!
Great classes especially Ward Stroud.
Veteran Art Classes are free
