Love to paint the ceramic bowls for the Womens Shelter. The jewelry and homemade accessories are definitely worth taking the time to see.

Everything here is hand-made by local artists. Friendly attentive staff who themselves are artists make for a fun stop every time.

Walking around in the store was a nice experience. A lot of Portland area artists were on display. We purchased a nice picture for around $30 and are very happy with it. A nice find on our trip to the city.

Definitely a place to visit in downtown Portland, Oregon.Even though they were this great store that features local Portland artists in a way that is flattering, very clean, elegant and tasteful. What makes this store unique is that one or two of the artists from this Collective artists Guild is in the store and operating it. You get to speak to an artist who not only knows about all of the other artwork thats in the store but you can also match the name above their Creations to the name badge that they are wearing. The artist is more than happy to take some time to tell you about their process and they were each very accommodating and friendly. Its not like self-promotion its more like from artist to artist or from creative person to admire and collector.From Artisan candles and beard oils to watercolors and metal art, there is something here for everyone, from every walk of life and varying tastes. I enjoyed my time there and made a purchase too. Not only is the art fun to look at and explore but its displayed well and each section is organized, clean and uncluttered. The walls behind the artwork are painted bone Ivory and make for a great backdrop to accentuate everything equally by the artists. I found a wide variety of objects such as handcrafted jewelry, lip balm, paintings, crafts and many other things that really keep your interest.I look forward to going back. Dont miss going across the street from artistic Portland and going into the local rock shop, its definitely amazing and worth looking at as their next door neighbors. Be careful that you pay the parking meter in the front of these stores as the parking meter maids are ruthless here. A terrible parking company to say the least as it has the name Kitty in its name. Other than that, you will enjoy your visit.*******UPDATE 6/26/2020******I have since returned to this store one more time and the staff was just as friendly, service oriented and the offerings were just as charming and unique as my previous visit. The store is managed and run by a co-op of artist who also make custom orders and are super friendly. Bought a great painting here and couldnt rave enough about how helpful and welcoming staff are. UPS is located a few feet away which made mailing my painting easy and quick. The bottom line: A great place to buy local art at a reasonable cost.

Absolutely fantastic! This was such a great find in the city. So many talented artists display such a great variety of art here.It was easy to purchase gifts for so many people: glass sushi plates, a lamb shaped beeswax candle, a couple dozen deliciously scented soaps, silver earrings, greeting cards in several mediums, crocheted gnomes on tiny spools, yummy scented candles and lip balm, a ceramic bird and a cheerful daisy painting just for me. I met a few of the artists whos conversations brought some of the pieces to life for me. I spent nearly 90 minutes in awe of all the beautiful things this gallery has to choose from. I look forward to my next visit to Artistic Portland. Super customer service!

Great shop! Just opened this summer and has a wide range of items for sale. The artists are the shop owers and workers, so you can meet them and ask questions about the art. They are also often working on items, so you can see great minds at work! Go, visit, shop!
