Porterville Historical Museum

Love visiting the Porterville Museum Train Show. My children and I really enjoy it.

Hadnt been in years and I was impressed. We went for ghost hunting. Fun fun fun I will be going back for regular tour and definitely the trains. Great job Dee!!! Fun hunt Dawn and Ruben.

We love trains,they had a lot of them,staff was very friendly and helpful. Wuite a collection of military memorabilia!

I waited outside the gate until 15 after 10 and no one showed up ! Pretty disappointed, they finally opened, but I didnt have time to look around. Maybe next time.

Great place for Americana historia.

Everything from Native American Baskets to early settler relics and more. The six week rotating exhibit was on an 80 year old local Porterville tradition: the Barn Theatre, which carries on still. Staff let me take a peek around even though closing at 3PM ( summer hours).

Allot of great history. The staff was fantastic.

A wide variety of late 19th/early 20th century artifacts, and, during the holiday season, a toy train collection that will delight kids.
