Post Pandemic Update.Finally went to Celebration Cinema since March!. Wow Feels like a lifetime. Ended up watching Tenet in IMAX. It was as crazy as 2020.All social distancing measures are being taken in and outside the theaters. Seating is probably limited to 25%, But it felt more like 5% as celebration cinema never used to have a lot of crowds which is a great thing.Unfortunately people being people were not wearing masks inside the movie theatre. Popcorn with the season bucket is now being given in ziplock Bags. But I wish they had some cover in front of the popcorn instead of them being sitting in the open.Overall it was a completely different experience but was glad to go back. Felt very 2020ish... lol

Went to the movies last night and saw Tenet. The theater was clean and people were social distancing. The only part of the experience that made me sad was a commercial for Samantha Bees TV show which was very political. The nice thing about going to the movies is no political ads but that was ruined.

Enjoyed seeing a movie again on the big screen. The seating is extremely comfortable. Just remember the theater is still not taken cash

Love Love Love this theater. Very clean (especially bathrooms). Big selection of food items. Anything Ive tried so far is yummy. Great popcorn. Like the benefits they offer. Its the only theater I go to in the Kalamazoo/Portage area.

Its a great place to have time away or to enjoy a date with your beloved. Its is contemporarily beautiful with great scents of colored lights. AWESOME!The movies arent overly expensive, but the food is high priced.Enjoy your time there, itll bring a smile to your heart unless youre watching a sad movie.

Super clean, my favorite staff of any movie theater! I had two people ask me and my daughter what movie we are going to see and had two completely different people ask us about the movie leaving. I can appreciate how engaging the staff is. Extremely comfortable seats. (Unless you see something at the IMAX) I drive from Battle Creek just because how much I enjoy this theater! Keep up the good work!

Who doesnt love to go to the movies. This place is always busy but not to worry. Folks there have always been pleasant. Like the fact you can order from the bistro and they bring it to your seat. Food is good but would be alot better if the portion sizes where bigger.

Real nice movie theater great food and drink selection always very clean and I love the seats recline if the wife takes me to a boring movie at least I’ll get a good nap. IMAX theater is amazing these movies today how are you really feeling like you’re there in the movie.

For years this IMAX is too D.....n LOUD!!I always have to bring at least one ear plugs.Discourages me from coming to this IMAX which is a shame. For years Ive loved IMAX since I first saw Flight at the IMAX in Denver mid 80s. I love IMAX in general.The IMAX in GR Celebration North had a more reasonable volume level. I used live in GR and enjoyed that IMAX very much and often.Sincerely,Z

I still frequently choose this theater over other in Kalamazoo. Good seating, comfortable and usually they accommodate big crowds with no issues. Only complaints are if you are going on a date and buy popcorn to share and two drinks thats almost 20$ plus around 10$ each ticket. Roughly 40$ for a date to the movies is kind of steep.

You get to sit in electric recliners while watching movies. And they can deliver food to your seat while youre watching a movie. The employees there are also very kind. I enjoy this theater so much, and am a frequent visitor.

Haven’t been to the show in a couple of years. Decided to go because we heard Ford vs. Ferrari was a good movie. It was. We went to a 2:00 pm. Matinee . Used to save a couple of bucks. NOT ANYMORE.... !!!! $ 17.50 for 2 senior tickets. There was only one other woman in the theater with us. I’m hoping they they go out of business....!!! Figure it out . Duh...!!! We will be going to kalamazoo from now on...!!

What an awesome place to see a movie! Seating has all been changed to leather recliners and you can have concessions brought to your seat! Sound and picture are top notch as is the comfort of the recliner. If you havent seen a movie in IMAX, what are you waiting for!? Enjoy a huge selection of food and drinks, and even alcohol, at this fine establishment.

The theater has great comfortable seating, its not like the seating was uncomfortable before. We did notice that the concession paper products that are used for drinks and popcorn are a little flimsy. They werent always that way. The prices seemed to be a tad higher too. Unfortunately I dont feel like I need to make that 30+ minute drive to enjoy a movie anymore unless its for IMAX.

Amazing amazing! Gorgeous theater with beautiful seating and way better movie selections on food than most theaters. My husband ordered some nachos and he literally got a whole platter of nachos for 9 dollars!! It was enough for both of us and we are not tiny eaters lol. The nachos were so big I wasnt sure how he would hold it but they give you lounge chair seating with platters/ trays attached to the seats for your food!!!! AMAZING the seats even recline back!

Fresh popcorn and friendly service. I liked that there was a choice for different types of seating. Definitely reccomend this theater.

$10 sunday matinee. Big cozy armchair seats. The volume in a small theatre is not too loud. Decent beer selection. Annoying arcade in the lobby tempts kids. IMAX usually too loud, bring ear plugs.

I do like this theater quite a bit. Pretty friendly staff, pretty decently sized theaters and very comfy chairs. It is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for I suppose. The last time I was there I ordered 3 hot cookies, and it took them like 10 minutes to get it to me. It was ridiculous. Other than that though, Ive had nothing but good experiences here.

Great movie theatre. Never too packed, and the standard seating with the recliners beats the dbox or IMAX seating any day. They have a good food selection and a clean facility as well.

Celebration always has the nicest places, but WE are paying for that dearly.Its been a few years since I have been to one, and wow, 11 friggin bucks for a bucket of popcorn! 8.75 for a MATINEE movie for one person. 4 bucks for a large pop. 23.75 for one person to see a movie at 11am!I guess we have to pay for those reclining seats too. Seems ridiculous.

Its nice to get real food delivered while watching a movie but... No table? May as well just dump it on my shirt. Full bar is nice but overall its a big Meh.

Its a great, upscale movie theater. Customer service is wonderful, as well as the food and drinks. Definitely is maintained in cleanliness and being on time for bringing out the food to you while you are sitting at your seat. None the less, great theater in Portage, MI.

Went to see Once upon a time in Hollywood there last Sunday. Enjoyed the movie, plenty to talk about on the way home. Would give it a couple of Oscars. Comfy reclining armchairs, big screen, stereo sound, perfect temperature. I had almost forgotten the pleasure of going to the flicks. Will do it more often with new releases.

Celebration Cinema has major issues with its online website. If you access it via Android phone, you can end up viewing inaccurate movie showing times!So when buying tickets in advance, on line, you areGiven bizarre show times. Which causes you to miss your movie, or show up at inappropriate times.This happened TWICE this past week. Tuesday and Sunday. Both times we reported this situation, to theater management. They advised that it is an IT problem. That they changed companies, about twoWeeks ago, and have experienced issues since.However, the problem STILL HAS NOT BE BEEN RESOLVED. I even printed their website pages, brought to Crossroads, and showed asst manager exactly what issue is.

Just remember trying to see a movie that came out months ago and and probably the last week being shown and it was sold out.. what?!? Its overpriced and unless you purchase ahead of time online, good luck setting next to the people you come with

Seat j-12 in theatre 7 should not be sold as a viewable seat. The screen was mostly blocked by the stair railing. Didnt realize the view was obstructed till we had already purchased drinks and got to our seat. This was a sold out show and no other seats were available. I had even purchased the tickets hours in advance.Boo on management for not fixing this problem. All the employees had stated that this was a know problem yet had not been fixed yet.

I went with my best friend and we watched the movie Rise Of Skywalker. I enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to all of u ️️

Very clean and nice theater. Tickets are confusing to get online. It had only 4 in front row availability. As I get lotion sick, front row is not optimal. When we got there however, there were lots of open seating throughout.

Great experience. The prices are higher than I expected but that comes with the level of comfort you get in the theatre. The food is tasty.

Can be a little crowded at times, but its generally clean for a movie theatre and theyll sometimes have movies that other theaters dont have (Remember the Alamo! ). Drink and food selection could be better...

This is a great theater! The IMAX is amazing, but even the traditional theaters are really good. The food and drink options are very filling and tasty. The best thing is you can order food to your seat with the app!

Its a pretty nice theater, its not too loud, the screens are really clear and the seats are really nice. But its just too expensive, probably the most expensive in town, two tickets to a matinee, a drink and popcorn was $33. But if cost isnt a concern, its probably the best place in town now that the Alamo is gone.

The comfy seats for a long movie makes it worth the price. The food is good. But the last 3 times I gave gone; theater, hallway, and main restroom smell awful of BO and urine, and are hot and humid. They need a lot more ventilation! It’s really gross. And the seats and food don’t make up for it. Super hard to enjoy the movie.

The theater was wonderful we went there with one other couple. They have big comfy recliners with big drink holders and table trays attached that will swing over in front of you. Also you can order snacks and drinks online and they will be brought to your seat! Also there is no need to stand up or scrunch if someone walks by, there is plenty of room the movie was great and we had a wonderful time with our friends at the movies. Would recommend this theater to our friends and family

I like this cinema. Nice, reclining seats, cheap tickets on Tuesdays ($6), and a clean environment all make this one of the better cinemas that Ive visited.

Prices are far higher than Kalamazoo 10. Two adults for a movie, one pop corn and two drinks was nearly $50 and no discount for veterans. Very nice facility but no one around when the movie let out to make sure things were ok or for patron safety if necessary. Rest rooms were trashed. Many areas of the parking lot are very poorly lit and the same group of kids loitering when we arrived were still hanging out when we left.

Extremely unprofessional and theyre ok with misinforming people and not making things right. Extremely overpriced. K10 and M89 are just better all around

Sure the seats were nice and the theater was clean. But I didn’t expect a group of loud, disruptive, drunk people at a 5pm movie on a Thursday. This location serves alcohol (sweet), but the teenage staff won’t stop the over indulged drunks from their good time, even at everyone else’s expense. Not worth it. Next time I’ll wait until the movie is available at home.

I refuse to go to any theater in the area that isn’t Celebration. I love being able to buy my ticket and get a seat I like before arriving. I know many people complain about the high prices but in the end it is just a few dollars more which I will gladly pay when it comes to the reclining seats and the amazing staff. I love getting the Soft Pretzels and I think their popcorn is great. But it is staff and the wide movie selection that keeps me coming back!!

Great movie theater drinks are high priced. Wish they didnt serve food in theater, eating popcorn and smelling someones hot wings isnt pleasant.

So the seating is absolutely legit. Reclining, roomy, never fight over a cup holder again. But $10 for a ticket in the middle of the day is ridiculous. And thats because matinees are only 11a-1p. That & another $20 for 2 sodas & a corn is an easy $50 date without any extras. I personally dont think it should cost that much to go to the movies.

Ordered tix on line so we didnt have to wait in line. However, their tix machine is out of order, so it was wasted effort as we had to wait in line for 15 minutes(they only had 1 cashier on a Saturday night) to pick up our tix. Love the reclining seats, but the room was chilly and the sound level prior to previews was too loud.

I took my 3 year granddaughter to a movie here. Not only was she free to get in, the tickets for myself and my daughter were only $5.00 each. And while walking to our theater, I dropped my granddaughters popcorn combo, making a mess all over the floor. Two very friendly staff members came up, told me not to worry about it and one went and got me a replacement. Everyone was very friendly and the whole building was quite clean.

A little pricey but worth it!!!Love the comfortable seats!!! Makes it a very better movie experience. Can’t stand the seats at K10 and it ruined a movie for me cause the seats were so close and had people kicking my seat and too close behind you talking.But Celebration cinema is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!People aren’t too close and you can relax in RECLINING SEATS!!!!!!!!! With trays to hold your food and snacks and good cup holders!!!!!!! Will never go to a different theater ever again!!!!!!!!!

Went there to watch a movie. Mission accomplished. Forgotten about how over priced popcorn can be. Still enjoyed the movie. (in a reclining position at that)

Went to see the new Harley Quinn movie Birds Of Prey in the IMAX part I feel like its a really good movie but idk what the difference was between watching it in the regular theater or IMAX.

I havent been here in years until we went to go see Christopher Robin, and I was impressed. The seats were pretty awesome and kept the younger ones content. The confessions were good. I can see why the prices are so high. Not something we will do often, but definitely a good place to go for a memorable date night or family night.
