My gf and I were on our way home from camping and decided to stop by for some coffee. We stumbled upon this cute store that has a bunch of curated products ranging from unique scented candles, kitchenware and even sea grass bags which we ended up buying. What was supposed to be a 5 min pit stop ended up being a 1 hour excursion checking almost every product in great length and enjoying every moment of it. It’s a great place to find little knick knacks or gifts for loved ones.We also tried their chip chip cookie which was to amazing because it has a good chewy consistency and the saltiness from the chip was a good compliment to the sweetness. We got 2 hazelnut lattes; one with 2% and the other with oat milk. Highly recommend the oat milk version. Their coffee was not as strong as other places, but it’s still very good.Final thoughts, if you are definitely in the area, totally worth checking out.

Visited for the first time. I was looking for a place that I can have good espresso drinks with some food. After searching, this place popped up. Very nice and comfortable atmosphere, drinks were good. I had caprese on a croissant with salad. Tasted amazing and will recommend. I cant wait to try other menus in this place.

My wife Susan and I enjoyed our first visit here greatly. I had a great hot latte and my wife has a machieatto that was delicious. As were the baked treats . The staff was wonderful. We both enjoyed talking them. I wish them well and hopefully I will return to port jervis soon

The Owner is so nice! The fruit of the Forrest pie was amazingly good. The London fog was awesome too! I’d love to come back if I come through port Jarvis again. :)

Wow what a gem was strolling down the block to grab some pizza with my baby and happen to want a cup of coffee. What a great atmosphere the positive energy was flowing through that place. I got two beautiful children books !!!!Yummy pastries and since I’m a gardener I seen a beautiful set of gloves and matching shovel and knee pad set so beautiful. Also the coffee was on point. Definitely will come again. The owner was so friendly.

The coffee is a little weak, but WOW THOSE PASTRIES. (The pecan pie elicited a few not-for-public sounds from me, to be honest. WOW.) Ill be back. Its beautiful - a peaceful, creative respite right down the street from Port Jervis. I had no idea there was a spot like this so close to the train station!

I am a fan I can’t lie. The hospitality/service/store selection and food/drink is great. I do wish they could involve the under privileged community in the kids events. I feel even the paid activities could be free or donation based. Maybe even get local sponsors to foot the bill. Story time is great but I feel only marketed to a certain crowd.

Hosted an incredible party here! Kate was great to work with and so accommodating for my schedule with only a week left to plan. Flexible in their prices and choices. The vibe of their decor is timeless and refreshing . Would highly recommend this place for an event!

We just had my sisters baby shower there and the event was incredible! When we arrived, the entire event was already set up. All we did was put our little personal touches out for the mom-to-be and the space looked amazing. All of our guests loved the food. We were able to request food from a long list. Additionally, there was a foundry42 employee with us throughout the entire event that assisted with drinks, setting out extra food, cleaning up throughout, and providing support if we had any questions. We would love to hold another event here!

Amazing ambience, great browsing, and of course a choc chip cookie with potato chips baked in.

We would follow Taylor anywhere! And we did! I had the Grigio and my husband a latte. And a chocolate croissant! Great up and coming hipster spot! And everyone is welcome!

This place is a gem of the changing downtown Port Jervis area. They run great programs for both kids and adults, the gift shop is unique and darling. The best is the cafe though. Try the potato chip and chocolate chip cookie! Sweet and salty and yum. Enjoyed the coffee as well. Excellent staff.

It has become a family tradition to pop into Port Jervis (est.1853) The downtown has already received upgrades, including a beautiful fountain and walkways making for a nice stroll. We come into town purely because the foundry offers a unique experience in all categories! The Dirty Jervis hot or cold is my favorite and I am loyal to it alone. But my wife says their other offerings are wonderful. Miss Adalyne loses it over all the local art and animal toys. Its a treat she looks forward to each week. The rotation of pieces inside, keep each visit fresh and engaging for us. Truth be told, if you can get your hands on their blue berry pie, youll be hooked for life. A must try when visiting Port Jervis.

I love this store and their staff. I have been there numerous times and never leave unsatisfied. It is unique and has a cafe inside. I had the best pie I have ever had there. It is a peach pie and it is to die for. The store selection is very diverse and has something for everyone.

Love the atmosphere of this place. Ive only been for coffee but I know they also have an upstairs space where they host lots of community events. The staff is extremely friendly and the coffee is delicious. Do yourself a favor and get one of their amazing scones to go with it.

Recently went to this location for coffee. It is well decorated and has a very warm atmosphere. I had an issue with my order that turned out to be a simple miscommunication. The barista was very understanding and made me a new beverage for free. Both the barista and the owner were friendly and easy to talk to. I will definitely be returning.

LOVE Foundry! Coffee is always fresh along with their delicious, hot out of the oven baked goods. There’s an array of great retail items. Great seating area to enjoy whether it’s to gather with your stitch group, meet up with friends or work outside of home. Foundry staff are wonderfully approachable & go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. Be sure to check their calendar for upcoming events.Side note: read a review recently added- 32 is not middle-aged! Plenty of floor outlets for charging devices as well. I witnessed the encounter where Jessica expressed being made to feel unwelcome. Foundry staff very apologetically tried to accommodate her device charging needs while allowing other patrons to shop freely without tripping over her various charging wires. I observed them treating her very politely without receiving the same respect in return.

Well... I will admit I have not had the pleasure to experience this wonderful place... but I intend on making the 4 hour drive with a couple of my daughters to experience this place!! What I can say is that it was built with love!! These gentlemen put their heart and soul into this store/cafe and I want to experience that!! As a former owner of a great restaurant I see the passion that they’ve put in! It’s a unique place and I will update my review after I’ve had the pleasure to check it out!!

Fabulous wedding we attended at this place. The decor, food and service surpassed anything we have experienced and we go to a lot of weddings. This place makes us want to leave NYC and live in that area! Well done ladies and gents. Maybe we will renew our vows here!

Definitely one of the best places in town!Its cozy and pleasant, with a really warm ambiance and the top latte around. Its been an oasis where I can recharge and recover from a long week.Also, its a place where Ive always experienced kindness, and people authentically interested in each other. Lots of unique retail, smells really nice, a great spot for a coffee - if youre ever on Front St. be sure to drop by!

I am a huge coffee drinker and Foundry42 is my go-to spot for the perfect cup. I have gone to several events (both adult and kids) and have had great experiences. I have also purchased a handful of gifts (some for myself!) You can feel the heart and positive energy in this place which brings me back again and again ️.

Just held my daughter’s graduation party at Foundry42. It was a phenomenal experience. From the planning, to the decor, to the food, to the staff, everything was perfect. I can’t say enough about Foundry42 and all it offers. Cooper Boone & his staff, especially Renee Meola are wonderful.

More than 20 minutes for an iced coffee and a cappuccino at 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon with one customer in front of me. The two service people working behind the counter literally did everything they could other than finish my drinks to the point that I had to walk out with 1/2 my order in order to not miss my train. Very tasty coffee, service needs a lot of work.

What a fun store to explore! Between the front cafe counter, the books on the walls, the knick-knacks and the furniture, I could easily lose track of time enjoying myself here. Ended up buying their delicious gluten free peanut butter cookie, chocolate brownie, slice of quiche and a cool driftwood wreath for our front door. Highly recommended to us by a fellow patronizing Fogwood & Fig restaurant while we were eating lunch there and I highly recommend this store as well.

Wow. What a cute adorable place. The coffee isn’t the most spectacular but the people are so kind and it’s comfy place to hang out with friends.

Me and my husband love, love, love grabbing a table or couch here to work, play cards, chat with the staff, make art, and drink a DELICIOUS cup of coffee. Also cookies. Aaaaaand A/C in the summer. Heat in the winter. Vibin’ music. You know. The good life.

Ive been there multiple times and the energy and staff are very warm and welcoming. Tonight I went there for an event and itbwas very nice. I Encourage anyone to go for an event, meet your friends or even just pop in fornsime codfee or desert. You wont regret it.

Nice little cafe and sitting area and a very rustic cool setting. The other items in this place are very practical and cool but come with the price tag to fit as well. Would definalty say this is a place to visit especially just to get a cup of coffee and relax for a little. Nice customer service and a pleasent environment. Hung out on a Sunday afternoon with my sister. Had a reading done that was pretty good.

The AVERILL HOUSE VINEYARD crew swung in for lunch and it was delicious. I was thinking big burger but after reading the menu we ended up with a pretzel and a delicious salad. The pretzels were served with three suaces and were light and flavorful. The smoky sauce was perfect and the spicy was fun, you will want another beer! The Salad with beats and feta was topped with the perfect amount of almonds. Larger window overlooking the town from some fun people watching.

Beautiful setting!!!! Current and fashionable....Food was served cold which was really upsetting because so much effort had obviously gone into the prep and it completely changed the taste of the food . Presentation was beautiful...but the waitress was not ready for the function and coffee was cold too.There was no music playing which would have been lovely

Foundry42 had some unique gift ideas and home furnishings. They were a little more expensive than many small shops, however, many items were made by local artisans. The coffee shop was a nice touch.

The kid running the shop should get a raise... takes care of this place and customers like his own!

Such a cute coffee house/store. It is beautifully decorated and there are many events in the second floor. Ask one of the girls in the coffee bar about it. Coffee is so good too. Will come back when Im in Port Jervis again.

As artist and designers, my wife and I can spot a great destination a mile away. And once again we were right. Amazing space, great selection of furniture and home goods, and friendly owners and staff. Very well done. Not what I expected to find in PJ. Everything is great, service, coffee and pastries!

I was saddened to read a review left earlier by a young lady named Jessica. I was one of the summarily dismissed “old and middle aged ladies” present this morning, when, apparently, Jessica was mistreated by an equally self-absorbed customer (not staff member). The ladies Jessica prejudged as old, and therefore, less valuable as evidence that Foundry 42 is indeed a cool and welcoming place to hang out, meet here weekly to share our diverse life experiences and many talents with each other. Many of us did not know one another before our weekly get togethers here began back in February. If Jessica had bothered to observe something about us beyond her mislabeling of us as “old and middle aged,” (some are barely into their thirties, if that matters to her), she would have made note of tattoos and piercings and interesting personal styles. If she had bothered to engage any one of us, she would have been met with warmth and friendliness. Instead, she chose to imagine that anyone noticed, let alone cared, that she was in “full moto gear,” and that this fact had somehow made her the object of judgment (no one noticed or cared, for the record). I’m sorry she was irritated by another patron, but to trash a beloved local business based on a short-lived encounter with a person like that, and to then use that to insult people who had nothing to do with someone else’s behavior, really calls her assessment into question.And, by the way, the food and drink is delicious, always, and served with a smile always!

They had a fun Christmas festival for shop small Saturday. A variety of Craftsmen. Also coffee and goodies. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Foundry is clearly a place where the owner enjoys their work. Everything for sale there is clearly hand picked and placed perfectly for a chat with friends or someone who wants to drink a coffee and work. Great little cafe with gourmet food and very friendly proprietors. Very active with activities for kids and other periodic venues. A gem nestled in Port Jervis NY.

The coffee and baked goods are delicious. Theres a wide range of items for sale, both in terms of price and interest. The birch log/votive candle holder is an excellent value. Cooper Boone, the shop owner, is creating an extraordinary vision for both this shop and the entire Front St. area in Port Jervis. We all wish him well and we support his efforts.

I recently had my rehearsal dinner at Foundry 42 and it was perfect! Cooper, Kate and the rest of the Foundry 42 took great care of me and my party, prepared an amazing meal and executed the entire evening seamlessly. The event space is beautiful - I would highly recommend Foundry 42 for any event!

Great location downtown, comfy coffee shop atmosphere, awesome coffee, and a nice selection of treats. The only reason Im giving 4-stars is that it is a bit pricey, but I still recommend giving Foundry42 a try

The atmosphere is beautiful, the coffee is delicious and not overwhelming, and the staff are some of the brightest souls youll ever meet. I highly suggest you go as soon as you can, and spend as much time as you can there. Truly a diamond in the rough.

The Foundry 42 is an experience not just coffee not just home style but an amazing feel. You feel so welcome you could stay all day. The desserts are bake on premises are so yummy delicious, if in Port Jervis thiso place is a must.

This is a totally fun and yum space! Its a tasty cafe, a well curated gift and homewares shop and an event space that you can rent. They also produce a lot of their own events like storytelling for kids, cooking with kids, celebrity chef dinners, and more.Their prices are quite reasonable and they have lots of cool and unusual items for sale.
