I’ve been to Sperry’s Moviehouse in Port Huron twice now. As a former shopper of the old department store, it’s wonderful to see this iconic building given new life.Every staff member is so welcoming, positive, helpful and engaging. I was definitely impressed by the customer service and number of employees around to assist.I love the smaller, luxury theatre style. The seats a so comfortable and the tray tables helpful. There is a cozy, intimate feel inside the theatre rooms and the common space was designed and decorated beautifully with a retro twist. If you haven’t been to Sperry’s Moviehouse you need to try it out because you won’t be disappointed!

Had an amazing experience using the dinner for 2 promotion. I didnt expect food this good from a movie theater. The price was exactly what you would have paid at another restaurant. The interior is beautiful with floor to ceiling windows giving views of the street below. Booths are comfy and the linens are a grest touch.Drinks were unique and delicious creations. They were fairly priced. The peanut butter stout was a real treat. The food was delicious and made well. The dinner and a movie combo was an incredible deal allowing an appetizer, 2 entrees, and a dessert. We had the build your own burger and the fish and chips. Both came with amazing fresh cut French fries. Dessert was a huge surprise as it was presented with a pretty chocolate garnish.

What a great theater experience!! The seats will definitely spoil you! The movie was good, seating was great, atmosphere was really good. Didnt try the food but have heard its really good. It really exceeded my expectations. I really like how intimate the setting is. Theres only about 15 or 20 seats per theater. Just really well done. Ill try to utilize this theater from now on.

No a place to go if you just got off work and have a date (just trust me on this one). This place is so cozy, you will go to sleep. Not one complaint, I enjoyed the nap better then the date.

Nice place, they dont answer their phone though :/

Everything about sperrys I absolutely love, its so easy pre buying tickets online and ordering food to be delivered at your seat while watching your movie, Service is always excellent, bathrooms are close/clean and food is priced fair .My favorite thou are the smaller size cinema rooms, the reclining chairs have a table that you can sit your food/snacks on which is such a great idea. Great place to rent the entire cinema room for a private party!!

We love the theater overall but the signage and lighting needs to be ramped up. Its difficult for older adults to find the correct theater matching the tickets and then the theaters are so dark its difficult to see where the seats are if the show has started. The tickets had a letter and number but we were in the wrong theater. Otherwise its great.

This place is awesome!! Staff was super friendly, theaters are small and comfy, and food/drinks are great! We were running late for the movie we wanted to see but were also starving; they have a dinner house and bar on the 2nd floor where you can place an order right where you get your tickets and theyll bring your food right to your seats!! They even offer a vegan burger on a vegan bun!! I cant believe it took us so long to check this place out, but we will definitely be coming back!!

Beautiful place with historical markers. However it is evident that management has not trained some staff on bar/drink knowledge. Very nice staff, give them the tools to do their job!

Im so happy to have this theater in our town!! They make cocktails that correlate to the movies that theyre showing! The food is great and theyll deliver it to your specific seat in the theater. Parking can be tricky at times is only downfall.

Amazing food and service! We will definitely be back again. I had the fish and chips and my husband had the famous Sperrys rice bowl. Both were delicious!

Seats are comfortable, great deal on Tuesdays. Would have rated 5 starts but Everytime Im in there I always find food on the floor or on the seat. Like it was a quick clean job.

Gotta love it! Recline, Beer n Vegan Burger delivered to your Reclining Massage Chair. Oh ya, and a film too

Amazing place to go for a movie Truly Loved my first time since they changed the building into the Moviehouse and Dinner house The whole building inside is amazing

Top notch experience here.Food at the movies?!?Yes,please!Reclining chairs, and non crowded at all.I come here often, and definitely will again.

Very comfortable movie theater. I know free popcorn seasoning is free but it would get another star. Great experience overall.

Eight small, modern theaters in a nicely repurposed beautiful old downtown Port Huron landmark building. The hallways to the theaters follow the exterior walls with large windows that offer a neat street scape view as a bonus to what u expect out of a theater today.

Theater is great, concessions are awesome, I love bringing my kids here for a family movie, or having a dinner and movie date with my husband! My favorite thing about the theaters is the size of each theater. They are small and not over packed. I think that that leads to a better movie viewing experience. It also makes me feel more comfortable bringing my youngest for family movies.

I would have given 5 stars but I was not happy my dinner slid off the table in the theater other than that they were clean friendly answered my questions all while being very busy and feeling flustered but kept there cool Id love to return

I truly enjoyed this experience, the dinner and movie concept in one place really is a great idea and Sperrys does it well. Will definitely go back.

So much more comfortable then the old theatre seating.love that u can order dinner and see a show at the same time!

Sperrys is a great place to watch a movie. They have extremely comfortable seating & a great selection of snacks. The theaters and restrooms are clean, making it an enjoyable experience all around.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Really good food and pricing. Enjoyed our evening would definitely go again!

Childhood Nostalgia, fantastic seats, retro cool. Sperrys used to be associated with back to school shopping... it was basically Hudsons or Macys for Port Huron. It sat empty for years, recently reborn as a chic well provisioned movie theatre... comfy seats (some have heat and massage!), beer and good popcorn...

Best theatre experience in blue water area.

Great old 3 story department store turned into a movie theater. Wonderful restaurant on 2nd floor. Yummy food. Burgers, and Philly cheese sliders are great! Really decent prices for food, drinks and movies. You can even pick your seats online and order stuff from your seats! Very friendly and attentive staff as well. Highly recommended.

Its a very nice place and I love finally seeing the old Sperrys put to good use. The food is above average especially for a movie theatre. Theyve got very comfortable reclining seats with stadium seating. Its all run on solar power so yeahhh for the environment. Exactly the kind of place downtown needs!

The cinemas are great. The dining experience is declining. They have changed their menus and removed many favorites.

Best movie theater we have been to. Wide seats with leg rests. Very clean.

Love this theater! Independently owned, and true to the buildings original purpose and history. Small theaters and comfortable chairs with heat and massage functions?!?! Awesome.

Always a good experience coming here. I love the new heated cease that also include massage! Taking relaxation to the fullest!

Watched Detective Pikachu today with my son. The staff was very friendly and answered all my sons questions without hesitation. Even helped when he forgot his headphones on the counter because of all his excitement when they gave him Pokemon cards for coming to watch the movie. The theaters are small but for someone who has children with sensory issues it makes it easier. We had a blast!

Great addition to the area. Specials like $5 movies are great too. Reclining seats and a great sound system make for a great movie theater experience. Highly recommend

Great and friendly staff. Theaters are small, but have very comfy seats. The dinnerhouse has fantastic food! The Creme Brulee is my favorite dessert.

Great place to see a movie. Hard to take a large family spontaneous and have everyone sit next to each other because of the asigned seat tickets in popular movies.

Good popcorn, chair backs slightly high only an issue if youre short, the chair in front is slightly in your vision.

Pretty good poutine, had the sperrys poutine and maple chicken wrap which was excellent. Great service

Feud Night at Sperry’s is a lot of fun! The game is very organized and had great prizes. The game night is fun for all ages.

Very comfortable seating, enjoyed the spacious area, very clean and well kept and all the staff were very friendly, helpful and respectful. The only downfall was their pricing on the commissary.

Love the theater, relaxing atmosphere. Plus I mean come on food and drinks and a good freind or a date. Perfect for a relaxing night.

Absolutely love going here to see a movie and get dinner. Food is reasonably priced.

Great movie house with huge selection of things.

Great place to see a movie....screen needs to be a little higher...

The ticket attendant was friendly. The concession attendant friendly. Seats very comfortable. Great price on Tuesday. My coke flat, bathroom experience not so good if youre trying to fit in stall. The design is not good, the door leaves no entry space to literally get inside without cramming body in. The sinks dont turn on easily.. Bathroom not very clean. My seat was dirty and tray attached was dirty. This is the first time Ive been there. Nice looking building interior but disappointed overall.

First time visitors to the restaurant on the second floor with six people. All enjoyed their food and we had awesome service.

We messed up and booked for the day before we went, they still honored the ticket, unbelieveable! The movie and dinner combo was amazing, we couldnt finish all the food.

The best movie night experience you can have.

Comfortable recliners, great atmosphere. Good food delivered right to your seat.

Dinner was awesome. Andy burger and Breakfast burger with sweet potato fries.Watched Angel has Fallen. What a great time at Sperrys.

Love the environment. Enjoy seeing movies here. Nice friendly staff

Awesome to start a couple years ago but its falling apart fast. Last couple times Ive been here broken seats in both theaters. Dont let this place turn into a dump!

A fantastic enjoyable time in an intimate setting to enjoy a movie. Very clean. Very Comfortable. Reclining seats and foot rests. Very easy to watch and listen to the movie. Food is available. From snacks to quick meals. A Great Place. Will definitely be coming back again

A long way to walk after you buy your ticket to get to the theaterI dont think about going there because of the parking situation. Gerri

Sperrys Moviehouse is the best place to see a movie. The staff care about my experience. Theaters are cozy and clean. Picture and sound is great. Lots of screens with a great variety of pictures from which to select. Food service in theater, too.

Employees are very friendly.Concessions are expensive.....but that is what most theatres are. The movie I chose was horrible! So boring I left halfway through, no issue with the theatre tho!

This was and amazing experience. The recliners are electronic and recline quite far. I wish the screen was higher up so that way the unreclined seats caused me to not see the words at the bottom of the screen. Food can be delivered from the amazing restaurant from upstairs. After the movie we went out to eat and had the most amazing mac and cheese. The waiter even went out of his way to divide the food in half so my boyfriend and I could share put food.

Its really amazing what theyve done with this building! I would think the original builders/owners would be very pleased. This was my 2nd or 3rd time seeing a movie here and its a great experience. The renovation was really top notch. The theaters are quaint and comfortable; the food is quite good as well. I definitely recommend Sperrys.

Family feud is very organized and extremely fun! I recommend any family, or group of friends to try it out!!

Beautiful atmosphere seating ... it is my favorite mobie theater.

Very convenient movie theater close to home very comfy and the downtown location says it all.

Love the comfy seats and pretzel bites!

Food was very good. Nice variety of seasonal mixed drinks.

Special Tuesday $5 movie. Beautiful movie theater with the best seats. Good snacks, free refills and serve actual dinners to consume at movie theater.

First time there, I loved it. Food came slow, but was fantastic!

This theater is amazing. The small theaters allow for many more screens and more showtimes. Its a comfortable home-theater feeling with reclining chairs and swiveling tabletops. Perfect for relaxing, snacking, and watching the latest movies.

Amazing place to go! My family and I love it!

Wow, what a great place to watch a movie. The seats are reclining plungers. They have tray tables attached to put the food and cup holders.

It was a great experience, I loved the seats.

Lots of amazing food in the restaurant, with great service there too. The theatre is amazing, super comfy reclining seats and great theatre in general. And the $5 tickets and $4 Small, $5 Medium, and $6 Large pop popcorn bundles on Tuesdays are amazing. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good movie theatre/restaurant. 5 stars.

I enjoy watching a movie here when Im in Port Huron. Im a big guy, so its nice when you can sit in a huge reclining chair with a meal and a beer! They have an elevator, and handicap stalls- very accessible. I find the prices are comparable to other movie theaters, and the food is not massively overpriced either.

Great place to chill relax and watch a movie comfortably

We loved it! Food was great and staff was very accomidatin

Lobe the atmosphere and people here. Food is always good.

Interesting concept. Was comfy.

Great movie rooms. There is also a restaurant so you can get real food for your movie. It was a bit cold so I recommend bringing a sweater or blanket.

First time there. Will definately go back.

Staff is very helpful. Theaters are very nice.

Great local theater. Love the seats and cozy feeling. Only down side also has do with seats. Unless they are fully reclined they block the view of lower portion of screen. Maybe 10%. If reclined they are right at the bottom so always in your peripheral view.

Very good food, great server(Christian), coffee could be improved

Cozy theatre, Most comfortable power adjustable seating, beer, wine, and even a hot food menu cooked fresh to order and all brought to your seat with waitress service! My most favorite theatre EVER, and a place I ALWAYS look forward to going! (A tiny bit cool, so I bring a hoodie)

Such a beautiful place. Great staff and so friendly.

Sperrys Moviehouse is definitely a jewel of Port Huron. I love visiting it there and typically my experiences are always positive. However, sometimes the staff doesnt seem prepared for the amount of business it gets, and depending on when you go parking can be VERY FRUSTRATING.

Great Place. Great service.

Staff is always friendly and the seats are comfy. Its clean, good food.

Great use of a building that stayed empty for wayyyyyy too long and its a perfect location for a movie house the ONLY downside is lack of seating but other than that amazing experience and Ill definitely be back.

I love that you can sit down and eat while wacthing a movie!

Great place. Good food. Very comfortable seating. Cozy in a great way.

I love the place and the quaint seating. But the site for buying tickets isnt user friendly. No way can u can go back in and edit seats or cancel and redo. And not being fandango elgible i dont like as well.

Family feud night on fridays was so fun for everyone involved! Great food, great people, great game and great prizes!

Awesome Awesome Awesome!!! Drinks and excellent food brought to me in a small, comfortable theater? Reclining chairs and everything.

Great place. Love going by myself in the middle of the day. Get a whole theater to yourself.

Love Sperrys. Great seats good price. Concessions are high priced. But otherwise great place.

If you havent been to Sperrys Moviehouse, go! Some genius decided to take an old department store in downtown Port Huron and turn it into a cool, comfortable gathering place to catch a drink, a meal, a movie or all three! The building itself, Im sure, will get a little more renovation, but the idea behind it and whats been completed so far is just great. The second floor has a full bar (with a super nice bartender - so sorry I didnt get her name!) and a restaurant. Throughout the rest of the building are scattered small auditorium theaters with comfy recliners and small attached tables at each seat to accommodate the food that will be brought to you while you enjoy the film. Youll have to carry your own alcoholic beverage from the bar to the movie, but the staff will bring everything else! On Tuesday, the night that we went, tickets were just $5 each and there were specials in the bar for appetizers and drinks. We had a great time for a third of what we would have paid at a conventional theater. It was a wonderful time with friends and well be back as soon as we can!

I ordered sliders, delicious. Loved the heated seats.

I love this place! In fact, it is the only theater I will go to. If the movie I want to see isnt there, I dont see it in the theater. I will wait for it to be available at home. The amenities and staff are terrific. Please see your movie there! I wish them all success and hope they are there for a long time.

Its just like sitting at home and watching movies in your favorite recliner chair

Different take on a theater.. I really enjoyed it

Although we ended up with front row tickets which I usually hate sitting in in other theaters, when you use the recliner chairs, the screen was very visible and not bad at all to watch. We also ate upstairs and was surprised at how cheap some menu items where. I figured like normal movie theaters the price for everything would be high, but the restaurant has decent prices if you decide you wanna eat before going to the movie

Love the movie house..offers everything you need and the movie! I LOVE EVERYTHING about this place! AWESOME in my book

Seats were super comfortable, screens look great. Kind of a maze, so dont arrive late!
