Just came back from staying here this past weekend. This RV resort is the cleanest & nicest looking resort we have ever stayed at. The pool & spa tub are one of the best weve ever utilized. All the sites are large with concrete pads, & gorgeous landscaping. The fitness center is top notch for any RV resort. Wife & I plan on coming back, next time for longer & we will definitely use the fitness center then. The lounge deck & bar area on the 2nd floor of the clubhouse have awesome views of the river & stunning sunsets. The staff are so friendly & extremely helpful. Walking around the resort we talked to other visitors, who were so friendly. The amenities, the views, the cleanliness, & the friendliness of everyone made this place feel like paradise. This is now my wifes favorite place.

Quiet, relaxing Motorcoach resort... helpful staff and well-maintained property... Wifi signal was good; friendly resort owners and guests - - easy to get around if desiring exploration, whether south to Naples, Marco Island, or the Everglades, or north to Venice, Englewood, and more. In consideration of the fees and expenses for residing or rentaling, attention to little conveniences such as trash pick-up at each site, regardless of season, is a minor but much appreciated ammenity. For those interested, a pool, a clubhouse and an exercise facility at the property entrance/office area. Overall, very nice for those looking to experience or live within this type of property.

This RV resort is hard to access with a Big Rig. When you come from I75 it will take you 40 minutes (!) through the city and small roads, no idea why they picked this area. It’s nicely located close to the waterfront but middle in nowhere. During our stay, we had many construction workers their (and noises!). Sometimes we had to leave the resort for some hours because it was too loud. The management was only for a couple of hours per day in duty and didn’t take care. I talked to Ralf the guy from the front desk about the loud noises, he freaked completely out, became extremely rude and yelled at me, if I don’t like it, I can leave (no money refund!). I never had such a rude experience all the years we were on the road! During our stay, we had an issue with our washer/dryer combo and wanted to use the laundry. Unfortunately, all the machines were out of order!!! They also offer a gym, very poorly equipped, not acceptable for a daily rate of $157!! Finally, the location at the water is nice, but the overall maintenance is horrible. I can’t recommend this resort. If you in the area, I could recommend The Tides RV Resort in Palmetto, better traffic connection, better prices, very close to the beaches, not middle in nowhere, brand new and quite fancy, And with a super friendly, lovely staff.

Very nice Resort.The mosquitos are very bad outside. They need to spray outside, and mow lawns.Its very difficult to walk in the the mornings and early evenings before dark.

All the people whether owners or renters have everytime you pass them have either waved, stopped and chatted ( that is how we found out about whether owners or renters ) or have come over to lot. Employees to my wife and I have gone above and beyond. A little higher than average on rent rates. Well worth the expense.

This is a beautiful place to stay with wonderful people. Everyone staying there is so friendly that it takes an hour or two to say goodbye. Its a clean gated community with no riff raff. Mostly older well established people.

All ways nice upstream of the bridge. It stinks that there is a no trespassing sign on the tidal beach. Apparently Riverwood owns the property. Why not be neighborly and allow anyone access to that spot? I remember taking my kids there when they were little. Also it is an excellent spot to water ski from.

This resort is absolutely amazing. The staff and the entire resort are first class. Well be back! We stayed in Site #34 and our neighbors were very nice. Everyone waved and said hello. So special to be right on the Myakka River and watch all the sunsets. They had great Friday Meet & Greets and loved the Aqua Aerobics!

We have been motorcoaching for over 20 years and this is, by far, the nicest Motorcoach Resort we have ever visited. Activities are varied and well attended. Residents and staff are very friendly, creating a family-like atmosphere. Having owners living on site and active in resort events is a definite plus. We have stayed here for two seasons and plan to return for a third one for 2016-17.

This is an absolutely beautiful park located right on the Myakka river. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The grounds are well manicured & planned events are numerous. On property they have tennis, Pickleball,water aerobics, & yoga. Close by is boating, fishing, beaches,shopping, minor league baseball and entertainment. We definitely will be back to Myakka Motorcoach Resort.beaches.

This is a very nice RV park. The location is convenient and very attractive park.

Stayed there January 2016, returned November to stay through April 2017. Its a gated class A only Motorcoach Resort. Friendly atmosphere, nice pool and. Clubhouse, many things to do in the area. I plan on returning next winter.

Nicely kopt boardwalk overlooking the wild and vast Myakka river.pool,club house and friendly folks.five stars for sure.

When we go thru the gate our life changes... so much we are purchasing. A little piece of heaven on Florida west coast. Exploring the area is a daily fun fest .

Large paver lots, this will ultimately be an owner managed park which should not change the experience. Class A only, impeccably managed grounds, clubhouse and pool. Easy pull in and exit. We stayed on a lot overlooking the Myakka River- worth the extra cost. We didnt buy our RV to own a lot but if we were to seriously consider owning, this resort would make the short list. Pay attention to the directions to avoid encountering roads with low hanging obstructions- reasonably close to Boca Grande which is worth the trip for fishing and the beach. Also good restaurants (no chain restaurants). Very quiet park unless you are adjacent to a construction (a number of casitas being built for lot owners)
