Cleaner than I remember, so perhaps theyve done a deep cleaning? Concessions are crazy expensive, be prepared to spend more on popcorn and a drink than the ticket itself. Forget the candy, the same box you can get at Walmart for $.88 costs $5 here, just bring your own! Only reprieve is the large sizes are refillable.

Of course I grew up coming there. Hope they dont actually close for good due to covid-19...

Awesome place to watch a movie. The food & beverage prices are very too high, but all movie theaters are the same nowadays, but I really enjoy watching movies here with my sons, friends and family.

Its the only option in town so, hey I am grateful they are here.

Even thought the price to go to the movies is WAY to high in cost. This location is clean, bathrooms can use a little tidying up and theater chairs could be more comfortable (not broken), ticket booth personnel could be a little more pleasant after all look what it just cost us to get it. The popcorn is good not gold for there price but the movie playing is spot on, no errors.

Movies are getting pricey, but if I watch any, i find this place the front and center Cinema to go to. After watching recent movies like Sonic the Hedgehog and Pokemon: Detective Pikachu with family and friends, I think this place is where i would see it first, and foremost. Staff is committed to helping customers about questions, lost and found items, and theres a reason the lines can be a bit long here, business is great.

I went to go watch the special release of Weathering With You. The movie was not fully in frame. There are portions with subtitles where you can only see the top half of the word. And then in the last 15 to 20 minutes the auditorium lights came on and stayed on. I went to go speak to manager and all he had to say was You should have come out of the theater and told us. We would have fixed the issue and rewound the movie. and Thats strange the lights shouldnt have come on. Who in their right mind thinks that for one single person theyre going to rewind 40 minutes of a movie? After looking at the manager though I shouldnt be surprised. If a person cant take care of themselves how should I expect them to take care of a theater. The Port Charlotte mall has been going downhill the past 5 years and Regal Cinemas along with it. Sad I used to love this place when I was young.

Okay movie theatre. Has 16 screens. Different screen sizes in different rooms. None ridiculously small. Had a modest remodel a couple of years ago including seats. They serve beer and wine. If going to a movie that will end after 9pm you should park on the side of the mall where the theater is. Because they close the mall entrance by the theater at 9pm and you will have to walk around the mall on the outside of it to get to your car.

So nice being able to see a movie again in the theater!

Awesome theater. Its pricey though, depending on what you get the soda and popcorn can cost as much as the movie ticket easily making it a costly venture. Any candy will run you $5 too. An evening screening will cost about $11 for a ticket maybe a smidge more after tax. 3D movies tack on an extra $3. The seats are the most comfortable movie seats Ive ever sat in though. Ive seen both Cats and the new Starwars so far there and those are over 2 hour movies. The seats kept me comfortable the whole time though with more than plenty of leg room. Will be going back a 3rd time to see Frozen 2.

A cosy shopping center Not very busy, but nice. I enjoy going to the early opening for the older folk to walk and get some exercise. Enjoy the oriental dishes. Did some shopping at a new men,s store.

Very good theater, but only complaint is the pricing. 10 to around 15 dollars to get in and the snacks are overpriced as well. The food is good and the theater is the best in town, just the amount it costs is nuts. Would go again, just I wish it were a bit cheaper.

Overall a nice theater. It is an older theater that has been undated with better seats. The men’s restroom is very small with only 2 urinals and one stall resulting in a line out the door during peak times. Good snack selection with some good beer choices. Overall clean space with friendly staff.

I have been going to this theater since it was built. Its very nice clean and well-kept. The machines and their projectors and maybe even the chairs need a little upgrading. Besides that the staff is very nice and always treat everybody with respect. Highly recommended I will definitely return. I wish the prices were a little lower

Nice place. My wife and I do the unlimited movies. Cant beat it. Chairs are not to bad. They are comfortable but are not like the Regal in Bradington. Their seats are all recliners.

Theater was clean. Cleaner than before they re-worked it. Was comfortable. The concessions are WAYYY overpriced. Also the cheese for the nachos and pretzels is bland and tastes nothing like cheese. Nachos are supposed to come with NACHO cheese. Not some lame substitute that isnt even NACHO. The popcorn was bland and had no flavor. (Not such salt at all). Even after going back and asking for more butter. Tasted like eating wallboard. I want to like this theater. Its my hometown theater but they are really letting us down with these crazy prices and almost inedible food. Theater food is supposed to be exciting because its not something you get everyday. It should have flavor. It should be food that you feel a little guilty about after eating it. This food at this establishment is beyond poor. Next time Im sneaking an Auntie Annes pretzel in and probably my own popcorn. Ill buy a drink to wash it all down because thats the only thing that tastes any good at this theater.

Great venue with comfortable seats, but easily the most expensive tickets for a general film that isn’t IMAX or 3D. Having travelled from Canada, I was shocked at how pricey the tickets were. I’d forgo this theatre for a more affordable option when I return to Port Charlotte.

Sat down at the exact time the movie was scheduled to start, and was shown nothing but promotions and advertisements for almost 30 minutes until the movie actually began. Between the tickets (1 adult and 2 children) and a small popcorn and 2 small drinks totalling $50-60 for a public viewing, you would think you would not be subjected to ads and nonsense. This experience was so rediculous, I remember why I dont I indulge in theaters anymore. The cost Regal charges is not justified by the value....not even close.

Always go to summer movies with my granddaughter. Staff is friendly and helpful. Being in a wheelchair, I love the spaces for us front and center. The only thing I would change is to turn down the volume just a bit.

This theater is very nice inside, the seating is quite comfortable and the screens are in good condition. The popcorn with butter is everything delicious in life. I would give it five stars, however, the staff and concession employees are the reason its 4.

They need to make a serious upgrade to the screens at this theater. Ive seen probably a dozen movies here in the past year and every single one of them I came out thinking, Were the colors supposed to be that dull in the movie? The answer was always no, its just the theater screen is bad.

Dark dank entrance/exit to this location. O ce inside, it becomes better. How about lighting up the walkways for safety so I dont have to pack.

Everything is good about the theatre. Service is always friendly and great. Prices are comparable to the rest of the theatre market. I just think that the cleanliness of the theatre movie rooms could be better.

Held captive for literally 45 minutes of previews after the listed start time of the film. 45 minutes. After the start time. Seriously. Fellow patrons were suggesting that it should be illegal to treat customers in such a way. If we had events planned for after our day would have been spoiled.

Great theater and friendly staff. Soda and popcorn are about twice as expensive as AMC theaters but the Seats are better and the lines move faster.

The movie theatre is clean, the workers were constantly moving either helping customers or cleaning up. The workers were polite and helpful. It was a pleasant experience until we went outside to get into our vehicle. (Im sure it was bored kids). But, there was popcorn everywhere! All over my suv. The hood, roof, windows, the ground, my bumpers(front and back). It was upsetting to find this. We went for my daughters birthday. The theatre itself was great, but that need more help outside to stop vandalism. When we found a guard. He took a report and said theyve had this issue a lot lately. Hope it gets fixed soon.

This is my 2nd time going to a movie at Regal cinemas it Port Charlotte. Ive never had an issue going to a Regal cinema in the past. But when a movie is scheduled for 335pm and it actually started at 405pm that pisses me off. Enough with the commercials. This happend to me a few weeks ago and not impressed.

It’s a nice theater with comfortable seats, however I did not like the 30 minutes of movie previews after the advertised movie start time

Saw a great movie here..Ford vs Ferrari Some of the best acting Ive seen from both Christian Bale and Matt Damon. Although they didnt refill my medium size popcorn, I still let go of it..I still like the theater.

This theater is great I usually have a great experience, however I am very disapointed to see that they no longer support the Atom Tickets app. It was so convenient and I was able to use my rewards on stuff. Now I drive a little farther to go to the Venice Theater because at least they still use Atom.

Last couple times there,the sound is better. It is clean

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. The manager or assistant mgr, Chris Mandrel, is a rude, unprofessional, mindless drone that just shrugs and mumbles corporate after HE accuses a customer of being a liar and then is proven wrong by an email from his own employer. He should be fired. Ive cancelled my unlimited membership BECAUSE OF HIS BEHAVIOR.

Its a mall. Not much more to say. Has a cinema, couple of anchor stores a lots of other specialty shops. It generally is not crowded.

Adding to my previous review. Could you try to send in employees to check the theater periodically to make sure moviegoers are not being loud. Watching a movie the other day and a bunch of loud annoying teens were making it miserable to watch the movie. Ugh!

While trying to listen to the movie there were loud construction noises directly next to our theater. You often could not tell what was part of the movie and what was happening directly adjacent to the theater. Price was high for comparable theaters although the facility was clean and seats nice. Very disappointed in the experience as you could at least mention there was construction that might affect the experience and let people make their own choice or offer a discount to that theater until construction is over.

This is my first time to the cinema, and the only real problem I had with it was I could not find the entrance to the theater to save my soul! I had to ask someone and they directed me around the parking lot to where the main entrance was to the mall and a few steps inside is the entrance to the theater. I have no problem with the price of the tickets, the popcorn, or the size of the theater. I really enjoyed my day there with my grandson. We went to see Alita, battle angel. Had a really great time.

Screen seemed small and definitely off center (to the right edge of the wall.) Staff is alway courteous. I would have preferred the buttery topping to be added to more than just the tip of the bucket, but they do add the butter for you.

This Regal is pretty run of the mill. There isnt really anything special about it. It did get some new seats that are a lot more comfortable. I have no real problems with the theater, it served its purpose.

This is a great theater I would highly recommend it. My only piece of advice is to bring extra layers because it is colder than most theaters.

I always have a good time at the Regal Cinema. The seats are comfy and the theater is clean.

Basic movie theater. No special bells and whistles, but you get what you expect at a reasonable price.

Our movie time was 5:45. We had to sit through over a half an hour of commercials and a few previews. I didnt pay to sit through commercials that I see on TV.

Well it was great, comfy seats, great movie. Then the ceiling panal fell on us. Luckily no one was hurt! This could have been tragic!

The theater was a little small but I was happy with the staff there. They informed us that the chicken was going to take awhile to cook and they would be happy to bring it to our seats so we wouldnt miss out on the movie without us even asking. We told them that wouldnt be necessary cause we can just trade it out for nachos and cheese or whatever else they had. I guess the nachos and cheese would be more by a dollar but the manager was very accommodating and said she would waive the up charge. The theater did sound like it might have had a speaker out while watching the movie but honestly it was enjoyable due to the staff and making it as comfortable as possible during our stay

Came to Regal Cinemas to see the new Jurassic World movie with my dad. Its much nicer than the one I used to visit in New York. The ticket booth is more organized and the employees friendly. The concession stand is brighter with good snacks, and my dad loved that they serve beer and wine. The theater seats are nice and comfortable to sit in during a two hour movie. I definitely would like to come back again

Nothing special about the place. At 11 or 12 dollars a ticket we dont go often. It is the only option locally, but we drive into Sarasota for a cleaner, nicer and half price experience.

Pretty basic theater, not a lot of other options around town. If youre willing to drive a little further however, theres better options with more comfortable seating at better prices, which seems silly.

Regal has 20 theatres. We watched Clint Eastwood in MuleIt shows how easy it is to get caught up in drug running and how deadly it can be.Very comfortable seating, good snack bar as you enter, any items available. Soft drinks as well as some alcoholic drinks, popcorn, candy and other theater itemsVery enjoyable

We went to go see a movie here last Saturday I could not believe the cost rounding off price $20.00 Dollars for 2 tickets plus pop corn 1 bucket and 2 sodas grand total $48. Some change might as well said it was a $50.00 bucks. I wont go to this theater again Ill continue to go to AMC Saturdays cost me a little over $12.00 Dollars for mid afternoon movies by the time you get your popcorn and drink cost is less then $25.00 Dollars. Not bad for a date day with wife dont get me wrong I am not cheap by no means however just a little to Exspisive for a move for me.

We watched Aquaman. The theater was empty so it was a great experience bedside thats exactly how I like it.

16 theatres are here. Not reclining seating. Some movies are in 3d ...senior prices offered. I saw Rocketman. If youre an Elton John fan youll thoroughly enjoy it.

Its ok but no assigned seats for online reservation. And Ive never seen so much wait for popcorn even free refills you have to redo the line that can take more then 15 mins when big movies are on.

With $12 tickets and matinees still over $10 this place is quite overpriced with basic seats its in need of an overhaul, the Venice theater and Regal in Sarasota are not only cheaper, have better matinee rates but now feature awesome reclining seats!

Went there to see Bohemian Rhapsody. Liked it but I must say it was too loud. Very much so! Had to cover our ears. Other than that, we enjoyed our time there.
