Great place for the kids. We also had our daughters birthday party there last year and she had so much fun she wants to have it there again this year. Multiple party packages for different age groups are available. We finished it off with some go kart rides. Kids had a blast.

Fun little place for the family to go to. Great little arcade area. They have Mini Golf as well as other great things to do. They also have Kids Go Karts which is on a smaller track they do go slower than the other ones. My family had a blast. The prices for the activities range in prices yet affordable. They also got food there and its not expensive.

Exciting and very fun, it is one of the best arcades I’ve ever been too. At first I did not know what to expect because we went late at night and it looked a little sketchy but the inside is amazing, they have retro arcade games and newer ones as well. It was very fun and I’m glad I went. Me and my friends did the icombat, realistic laser tag. It was very exciting. The staff was very nice and consistent with their service. I also went on the go carts which was very fun as well, hopefully you get the chance to attend this retro arcade.

Go karts are fun. Especially having the mini karts for little kids 3-5yos. I-combat was a blast.Arcade games are outdated and a lot of them dont work. Pizza was good.Overall a fun afternoon for kiddos.

I had a guy come up to me and threatened to ring my neck because I was watching an arcade game with his daughter playing. The only thing the security guard did was give him a warning. I would not recommended bringing my nephews their again.

Lots of arcade games. Inside flea market has a small arcade area and big play scape. Once the other part opens theres much more arcade games, go-karts, laser tag, mini golf, and other activities to keep all entertained. Would definitely stop by again if in the area. Some machines were out of order and came across a couple that are our tokens and didnt start the game.

We enjoy bringing the kids on the weekend. A lot of people forget this hidden gem is here. The play area is always clean and there is a lot for my little ones to explore. With the heat outside, Kidstar is a nice escape for the kids to have fun that’s also easy on the wallet! Would recommend this place to anyone

I loved this place. Its where a (grown) kid can be a kid. Awesome 80s,90s,and now video games. Mini golf, laser tag,and go karts Oh my. LOL my 10 year old loved it too.

Its good for a day trip I would just watch out for the persons wording, many are very misleading.

I only went in to the arcade area and the mini golf, but it definitely wasnt what I expected. The mini golf entrance is in a really sketchy side door off to the back side by a semi truck or something mini golf was actually fun but extremely short as well. If you have really young kids theyll love it.

Had a fun time playing blacklight mini golf but was SHOCKED that there are NO outside lighting other than main entrance and go carts. Went with a friend and the parking lot was pitch black so we parked as close to the main building as we could. Purchased our mini golf tickets, went out the door and turned right and walked down to where they told us it would be.... no lights...it was like walking down a dark alley. The light for blacklite mini golf was out also. This was at 830-9 pm and there was a small building near it against a black parking lot. Not safe! Can you say Liability!!!!!!!! Trip/fall, robberies, assault.. no lights and going to guess no cameras. I mentioned it to a few employees and they said they are never on. Had fun but DID NOT feel safe

This place has undergone a complete restoration and revamp of what port charlotte has to offer for family activity that has been focused to make both children and adults enjoy themselves alike. They feature ICombat for their laser tag have black lite mini golf with amazing lifesize creations and go carts in kids and adults sizes. Best place to host a children birthday party and at affordable costs all year long.

Really like taking my kid here! She often has a really great time. It’s crazy when there is a birthday party or event going on but overall it’s good!

Lots of old school games I played when I was kid

This place was a blast. We rode go carts twice, played blacklight Mini golf(that was cool!) had dinner played laser tag and a bunch of video games. We will be back

We had my sons 10th birthday party here and it was amazing!! The kids did everything from go karts to laser tag to star mountain!! They loved every minute of it and us parents had fun too! As a parent I felt included and really enjoyed being here. The food was great, the cake was delicious and looked great! The glow golf was so unique and special. Thank you to Kidstar for making my sons birthday truly special!! Not to mention a great deal! We did the icombat birthday with the star mountain add on.

Indoor/Outdoor kid-friendly venue. A little pricey I think for how dated some of their equipment and attractions are, but still probably the best option within a 30 minute radius for kids entertainment.They have laser-tag, go-karts, a climbing/playscape area, two separate arcade games, and mini-golf.You can host Birthday parties and events here, but be sure to call in well in advance. They have limited hours and can get booked up due to being the only place around.All-in-all not a bad experience.

Came here for our kids birthday party. They had a blast and so did we. Youre never too old for laser tag :-) this place is awesome. They are even flexible with tickets when one of the kids had motion sickness they exchanged for tokens instead of go-kart ride. They did a great job with the birthday cake and provided excellent service and decorations. Also, we didnt feel rushed even though it was busy with another birthday party.

Staff is very nice. Laser tag is fun and huge two story area for players to run around. Food area and selection is a little mediocre ice cream is not that great taste a little freezer burned. The go-karts are fun and well-kept. The track is a little small compared to many other places I wish they would extend it somehow we went on a Saturday night and it was a ghost town after 9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays that have different sales and promotions where you can get some money off packages if you dont use your coupon on something you can always bring it back they dont expire. Will be back soon

Great place to bring the family an hangout

Met friends here to play in arcade and glow mini golf. This place is hard to find. Arcade is tiny and super dark/shady. Glow golf is cool, but no staff was present to help us when the last two holes malfunctioned.

Tokens are 4 for a $1 most games are one token. Quite a few of the games dont work and its all kids running it who have no idea how to multitask. Overall worth it for a cheap night out with the kiddos.

Planned a birthday party at the last minute. They got everything set up in 1 hour. Awesome service. Way to go!

This indoor play port climber is so fun and all the kids from age 2 to 10 will have fun for hours upon hours in it. The arcade was updated with newer games. The go karts were the highlight of our time here. The kids thought it was the most amazing thing ever to go fast and try to pass their friends. We didnt try mini golf or Lazer tag but definitely will next time. I found everything very reasonably priced and maintained.

Its like a scaled down discovery zone from the 90s my kids love it

Fun and unique indoor mini golf course

This place needs to be updated ASAP. very old and 50% of the games did not work. When my 6 year old went to retrieve his prizes the machine was broken. We went to ask for help and the young guy came over slid his badge and walked away didn’t even bother to check to see if it was fixed.... of course was still not fixed so we had to go back and ask another associate to help. won’t be going back there

I went to fleamarket adjacent to the now defunct kidststar park and presently is a used car lot. Had a horrendous experience with obnoxious vendor. Also had pleasant experience with tools vendor. The sunshine fleamarket is now mostly tarped over booths .. Over half the booths not open.

Had my nieces 6th birthday there. The staff did not have anything set up for her birthday party. She was turning 6 years old. Then they had called ahead and gotten a birthday package, well the cake was the wrong cake, the table they reserved was taken for another hour due to wrongful planning and then they received tickets to use the kids go karts but the staff did not tell any of the parents that they were shut down so the kids were very unhappy they could not drive them. The birthday girl did not have a good birthday. We will not return.

Our family of five spent a few hours at Kidstar on our last visit to Port Charlotte. Kids had a ton of fun on the go-carts and playing all the old school video games. The owner was very nice and told us about all the rare games he had. The place has been there for 20 years! I love supporting small businesses and everyone should to. They might not have all the bells and whistles as a corporate chain but that shouldnt matter. We had so much fun and the kids wanted to go back! We definitely will next time in town.

Pretty great place for kids parties. Could be better if they would fix some of the video games, and pay a little better attention to maintaining things. All and all though a fun place dor family night. Water show is pretty awesome.

At this point in time Port Charlotte doesnt have many things to do and less you fish or a couple nice places to eat so if youre a teenager or kid I dont know you can get yourself into some trouble but if youre a big kids like me 59 year old loving of go karts well thats definitely the place to go do you have any kids that are running the go-karts have kickass personalities the go-kart seem to have some really serious speed Sunshines the course is very decent if youre a resident or visiting Port Charlotte its a fun thing to do in one night I know we can go enjoy yourself sometimes you dont have to grow up highly recommend Spanish couple hours there youll enjoy yourself and the amusement Parts with the games and laser tag and a lot of fun

The running of the place is extremely disorganized and frustrating.The actual people working there were extremely helpful and understanding with our confusion and irritation.5 Stars to the employees.Will go again but will never bother to try another birthday party.

I love kidstar. This place holds a special place in my heart because I used to come here as a child. This is a great inexpensive place to bring your children for a fun day out. Definetly recommend.

I went to Kidstar park this week with my grandchildren for the first time. I was so shocked how nice the complex is inside!! It is huge. The black light indoor mini put looks awesome and the children loved the go carts. It was definitely a great experience. WE WILL BE BACK!

Recently found out they raised their prices like 300 percent since the last time we were here... not at all cool. Very disappointed in the ownership for allowing this to happen. They charge way to much for go cart rides and other stuff. What I used to be able to do with a fixed budget on twenty dollars with my son is now impossible and not so much fun anymore.This place used to be super Excellent for some small town fun at a somewhat affordable rate. the go-carts are a little fast and kinda fun. the arcade is modern and in the now. The laser tag is really cool and is also getting upgraded to a new $70k really awesome system. The mini golf is all glow in the dark black light stuff. The liquid laser light show is very cool and the ice cream is very good. This place is great for a birthday party or even an outing for like a sports team of kids. Everyone has fun we love it!

Pretty cool spot especially for a rainy or cold Saturday or Sunday perfect for those days when you want to sit inside and cant go out and play but dont want to sit and be bored all day or have your kids stare at a screen all day. Gets them out of the house interactive gaming along with social graces with other children.

The only thing that was good was the golf cart the prices were kinda high and they had me give them a five star review for a free ticket. Thats ridicules, why cant the just be a 5 star anyways. Other than that it was ok. Some things where no longer working and old. I might come back but probably not.

Its an indoor fleemarket its nearly emty exept for kidpark . Not kool place unless yiu are a kid.

Almost doubled in price, which stinks, but its still an ok place to hang out with the kids in the air conditioning. Some of the games are broken, but theyre attempting to make it better.

Kids had a wonderful time we actually went back again the next day. So happy and thankful that kids have somewhere to go and have the right kind of fun!

The clown running the go carts singles my son our then let several other kids undersized go ahead. When approached he said nothing. What a joke. Young kid seeking power at a kids park. Lol. Good job.Will not return.

Friendly staff but way too expensive. Only open on weekends even during the summer. For $8 a ride, 5 min go cart ride is not worth it.

Prices are fair and all 4 kids of mine from 2-13 years all had a great time

My kid loves this place, sometimes games dont have tickets(just ask they will fill it) and a couple games may be broken from time to time but staff always takes good care of us. For kids running it the do a good job and make it fun

Great birthday party place for 10 year old grandson

I take my grandson there often and this place is an AWESOME place to take your kids to have an afternoon of fun and to meet new friends. There is a place in the back for birthday parties. But, be prepare to be around a lot of kids screaming and running around....bring your kids and check out the Kidstar Park in the back of the local Flea Market, at 18505 Paulson Drive, Port Charlotte, Florida 33954.

The laser tag is probably the best I went yesterday and the laser guns are realistic and also good arcade the best game probably there to get tickets is Pac-Man! I loved it there!

Came here for the first time when my daughter was invited to a birthday party. I usually avoid places like this because ive always thought that it would be packed and crazy. That wasnt the case at all. The staff was friendly, the food served was delicious, the equipment was very clean and we had a great time. I will definitely take my kids back here.

Went there for my daughters 2nd bday. They had a mix up and we werent set up till we got there but after every thing was amazing. Had kids of all ages at the party and every one has a blast. Including the adults

Had to get clarification, we wanted to go to Kidstar Mountain, which is in the flea market, hours are 9am-4pm. Everything else is Kidstar Park, which opens at 4PM. So we ended up doing laser tag for 10 or 15 minutes (1 ticket is $8). The arcade, which they moved from Kidstar Mountain, is in the restaurant at Kidstar Park. They put new arcades in Kidstar Mountain, which I havent seen.

This place sucks... The girl that takes care of the purchases for the park terrible attitudes the place needs more life music maybe better attitude and maybe some smiles i wont come back for a while to see how things work out thanks.. Very disappointed
