I have always enjoyed this theatre. I especially like their new seating options! It was a good childrens movie with my fiance and daughter, but it was so comfortable I fell asleep! They have good concessions like popcorncandyand soda.
Overall, have really liked this place. Have come here for years to watch movies. My only complaint is that it doesnt feel like they clean the floors fast enough. There was one time coming in where there was some popcorn already on the ground. Like I said, great place for family, kids and adults and would definitely come back another time.
Great new seating, just wish at the front they explained to the newcomers which seats recline when u pick them up at the purchase window.
Grab the first couple rows for reclining seats. Concessions consist of the basics which make sence being a small town. Staff is always friendly and they do a good job employing young kids looking to be responsible and work!
For a small town, small theater, its comfy and cozy. Great sound great screens, the seats are so comfy. The price is way better than the big city big name rip of theaters.
Deer Park Cinema has continued to impress me through the years. Ive watched several good movies including Jack reacher 1 and 2, Terminator Dark fate the newest one. Which if I may add is my third favorite.they have amazing people there the lady tonight wasnt too nice though maybe Ill take a star off for it
Great service, great staff. Nice and clean.
Absolutely LOVE the new rocking seats. The reserving of seats is different but worked better than I thought except none of the people that came in after us could see the numbers on the chairs so they kept asking us. $14.00 for a med soda & med popcorn was Outrageous! You are going to loose money in the long run if thats how you are paying for your new chairs. Local people scrimp for a Movie but theres no way to rationalize your Snack prices!
The seats are amazing! Yes! Great upgrade. Love the local commercials. Foyer and bathrooms are dated. Would like it if the marquee were easier to read.
Wonderful, comfortable reclining chairs. Be sure to bring a small blanket for your legs. Decent variety of movies considering our remote, small town. Very clean bathrooms.
This theatre would be better if it had the recliner seats on more rows than the front two rows only. You pay as much here as in newer and larger theatres throughout the west coast, so why limit the good seats to the first two rows? I cannot watch from those rows and my friend cannot sit in the other seats. A reason we do not go there often.
Comfy seats. Nice screens. Good concessions
We were 2 of about 25 people watching the 6:30 showing of the Overcomer movie. The 4:05 showing was packed! Glad we saw the showing we did. Felt more private, and when I made comments to my husband, I didnt feel like I was disturbing anyone else! Great movie! When it comes out we will be adding it to our Kendricks brothers movies.
I saw CATS here, plush. Only one theater between Sequim and PA. Or you can take ferry over to Victoria BC?
The theater is always clean and the staff always friendly. I love the reclining seats!
This cinema is a bit smaller than ones Ive been to in the past, but I loved it!The popcorn was delicious and the seats were the most comfortable theater seats Ive ever been in.Looking forward to going back.
The recliners are awesome. its clean nice Theater
Subpar... Visiting from out of state with my family and paid more than I do back home for uncomfortable seats thats do not recline. They made a bad choice in their seating upgrade. It really is a shame because we love this town but for entertainment option you are better off going elsewhere. The small screen with narrow rows of seats combined with the inability to see over peoples heads are just a shame.seems like the management is making bad choices all around.
Sub-standard theater screens even for a small(ish) town. Ticket pricing is acceptable but the display had very small aspect ratio.
Seating is good. I wish they had more concession options though like the AMC in Silverdale.
I thought it was great. Service was great... and awesome movie and service!
Saw call of the wild sat in the fourth row. Lots of people coughing. Especially the woman next to us who smelled bad as well.
Excellent new release movie, good movie theater popcorn, had a fun time with my family.
Very comfy atmosphereNice, easy way to spend New Years Eve
Usual cool theater atmosphere, with hint of rustic.
Good theater. I just wish they better candy choices. Please bring back sweetarts and m&ms
I have been to 100s of cinemas all over the planet and I have never been told that I have to pay full price of a popcorn or drink for a spare item to hold or split popcorn for my kids after spending close to 80 dollars on tickets and food. What kind of moronic excuse is that they have to charge full price because its part of their inventory stock. Im sorry there is so much wrong with this thinking and will be the death of movie cinemas with attitudes like this. I have received free and water cup charged prices for addition items. From drink holders to kids trays I have never heard of anything like this even from major chains that are egregious in their pricing. I am so disappointed that I will never be back despite the fact that I come here every single year for 10 years as vacation time. I used to go to the other cinema before it closed. How is it that the management hasnt figured out how to charge people for a cup for what they would normally price it out at... how do you not have kids holders for popcorn for large families that buy huge amounts of your goods to entertain their family at the cinema you are running. You have got to be kidding me, your mentality will be the death of your business, enjoy your scathing review for your bad shady business practices and shame on you for taking advantage. No wonder I saw the locals that live here sneaking everything in... duhhhh. Dont worry the napkins were free and I lined my hat with them to serve me kids from the large popcorn, if I had know you had such a deplorable policy in place I would of bought two smalls to allow my family to share without having to use my hat to effectively do the same thing... lol
Decent small town theater. They play new movies.
Pros: good sound and video experience like the reclinable chairsthey also have a good candy selection I like the different flavors of seasoning you can put on your popcorn and the Frozen assortments. Conns there isnt enough reclinable chairs and snacks can be a little spendee. And the wheelchair accessible isnt very accessiblewhen I took my mother she was unable to get a good seat as the wheelchair accessible was all the way in the back. Movie selection get assortment of candies comfortable chairs
Nice local theater. Food and drink WAY overpriced. Fantastic seats. Not a huge fan of assigned seats, but whatever.
Great show, great snacks, clean lobby and theater. Like being able to make reservations
Movie was great. Come on, really., the prices are ridiculous! Im surprised the theatre isnt closed. How can a family enjoy a movie day out? They cant! Stop being so outrageous with the prices. It is better to make some tmoney than nothing at all. So, if you continue to scalp people you wont have any business!
It is the best Theater for many miles. Its also the only theater for miles. They got new chairs which are pretty great.
The movie was great but the exit light in the front of the theater was right in my husbands range of light and it blinded him most through most of the movie. Does it have to be that bright? We were very unhappy about the whole thing. :-(
I just saw the film at Deer Park Cinema, Milleficent Mistress of evil. My friend and I really enjoyed it, it was very colorful, great animated characters with the real life actors and the story never lagged. There is more action than the first Maleficent film and a plot with a good ending. I hope the poor reviews wont keep audiences away, it was just as good as Disneys other films and neither of us was at all dissappointed. The costumes and scenes were stunning. We watched it in 2-D, but it would be better in 3-D for all the flights of the winged characters. We had seats in the center of the theater without booking ahead online, and the delicious buttered popcorn in the large size has free refills. We couldnt even finish the big bag. Their new seats are bigger and softer than the old ones, with handy cupholders. Plenty of nearby parking.
Nice and clean place. I wish they got more movies that arent based on comic books. We need more comedies and dramas.
New seats are good. Loved Downton Abbey. Snack bar to expensive, didnt buy a thing.
Its better now that u can reserve ur seating online ahead of time. The real problem is food. Popcorn or sweets. Not even a real choice. Need to stay away from carbs and they tell u that u cannot bring ur own food in. Probably wont go back.
Went there for the first time and saw a Aladdin. Really love the theater the staff is super nice and friendly. Its a small but cute theater and the seats are super comfy and big. The cup holders werent small like other theaters Ive been to and I like how if the seat next to you is empty and you want to put your popcorn down the chair that fold up on you and spill your popcorn 10 out of 10 will go again
Very clean movie theater and restrooms! Love the new chairs!
Good place to see all the latest movies. They recently remodeled the building. And I have not got to enjoy the new envirnoment yet, but I have heard great things. The reason for the 3 stars is due to impression of the previous seating and the uncomfortable chairs they had. Will change my review once I get to enjoy the new update, if need be that is
Very clean and comfy... expensive treats tho.
Movie was great. Hadnt Been since remodel, it was awesome. Seats were comfortable, will get recliner next time!
The film, JUDY was terrific, it showed what some of our entertainers experience, emotional and human struggles while surrounded by the social powers, Id give her an Oscar.
Great local theater, daytime movies are very reasonably priced, and concessions compare with standard theater prices. As far as I know, theaters dont actually make much money on ticket sales so its understandable that the food costs more than it would at at the grocery store. The 7.1 sound systems installed are super fun to hear.
Love this place. Sides, theres a Pokemon Go Pokestop here.
Nice seating. Not too loud. Would be five stars, but, you know, theatre-snack prices:(
The back row in the theater is lower than the row directly in front of it. It is a struggle to see over the seats and heads, especially if you sit back and recline.
The assigned seating is kinda annoying. Seats are comfy, though. If only kids would not put their feet on the backs of the armrests & keep bumping the people in front of them through a whole movie. Maybe there needs to be a sign for people to keep their feet down.
Easy to buy tickets online and print out at kiosk. I like that you can pick your seats. Seats are comfy and big.
#1 movie out right now is Bad Boys 3 and I have to drive to Silverdale to watch it because this theater doesn’t have it yet. Keeps movies here for far to long.
The chairs are super comfortable! The bathrooms are cold but clean. You pick your seats before you go inside. That was really nice.
Great seats, good ticket prices, popcorn and snack prices just about on par for any theater that only makes money from food sales.
Theater nice, seats comfy, but new policy of reserving seats when you buy a ticket is really annoying. I can understand doing that for a huge draw, but we were forced to choose seats with only 2 others already seated. If you dont like the seats, you have to go back out and choose new ones. And good luck if you are joining friends later and dont know what seat they reserved. And it slows down the ticket window as well. Aggravating policy!!
Always love deer Park cinemas play store and they always have some movie you want to see
Fun place to watch movies. Love the seats. Very comfortable!
The theater would be so much better if they just improved a few things! Widen your snack selection and start carrying mustard for your pretzels! Not everyone wants cheese. Also, use cup trays so people can carry their concessions if they have small children with them.
We like both movies we like Hobbs and Shaw and Lion King
Much nicer experience with new, bigger seats. They have rockers and recliners.
This is so much nicer than where we came from feeling guite spoiled its such a nice comfortable theatre
Screen & Sound is Great! All new cushy padded seating is Wonderful!!!Prices on refreshments are a bit high but all in all a Great Experience!I recommend going to see Movies here at Deer Park Cinema for an enjoyable time!!! :-)
The theatre is a 5 room. Small concession stand. The first few rows of seats recline nicely. Overall, pleased with the staff and whole experience. Will be returning.
Great movie..staff at concessions very very unfriendly.. as if it was a bother spending 20 dollars on two sodas and a large popcorn..long lines ..only two peolpe behind counter and one side open when parking lot was complely full..
Nice seats. Puts you close to the loud cheers. Lol
The seats are awesome! The sorround sound great..
Gotten much better since the remodel. Cant believe they charge a dollar for extra butter though.
I have always enjoyed coming here to see movies and It is definitely more enjoyable now that they have new soft seats that are bigger and a lot more comfortable. The cons for me of going here though is that the popcorn is not as good as it was a few years ago. When I went a few weeks ago the popcorn didn’t taste very good like it it used to, and it was cold when it should have been be hot. I also make sure not to sit close to other people when choosing a seat as I have had a few bad experiences with people having bad manners and kicking my seat and being rude, but that is no fault of the movie theater just something I always keep in mind when I go here. But the sound quality and movie quality are great and I have usually enjoyed my movue going experiences except for some minor issues.
They have awesome seats in the front two rows that recline which makes thing way more comfortable to watch the film play at the cinema. The staff there are very respectful. The service is quick and the snacks there are delicious. Enjoy your stay.
Love the recliner seating .
Buy popcorn to support the local theater buuuuuuttttttt definitely dont go to the walmart 2 min away and buy your other snacks. Also dont put those snacks in ziplock bags to reduce the noise of the contraband you slipped in. Wink wink
I have gone to see multiple movies here and it is amazing. Just recently they have started replacing all of their old seats and swapping them for super comfortable seats. I went to see Wonder yesterday and the service was good at the front desk.
This theater has made some serious improvements over the last few years. The concessions could be better, but most everything else is nice: Good seats, not crowded, easy parking, and decent prices.
Small town cinema with four screens. The one I went to had 7.1 Dolby sound, which was great. The theater itself was cozy and the seats decent. Clean and well maintained. The concessions were ridiculously over priced as usual.
Screen is a but smaller that expected, however the seating is pre-selected and the seats themselves are quite nice.
Good seats, sound, and movie experience
Movie Knives Out was great
Love the reclining front row seats.
My one complaint about this theatre is that they don’t filter ads before the film based on the audience expected. We took our daughter here and one of the ads was for the local abortion clinic. This has nothing to do with our personal opinions on the matter, but everything to do with the topic of abortion being an adult one, or at the very least too mature for our five year old.
Smells funny. Crazy expensive. The seats dont push back far enough to get comfortable if you dont weigh a ton, so the whole time it feels like youre being pushed out of your seat. Plus, every 10 minutes some minion comes troding down the aisle staring at you while you watch the movie like you are a criminal. Ill be driving to the AMC in Silverdale instead.
This is the only theater in Port Angeles and has 5 screens. If you want to see a movie you better get in within a week or two of it coming out as they revolve movies fairly quickly. The floors are not maintained very well and that is one of the biggest reasons why I dont come out here that often. I wish that they would do more to keep the place cleaner and more inviting to its patrons.
Aside from the great movie, Rocketman, the venues new improvements are wonderful.
Its the only local movie theater and they keep there prices reasonable and the building and surrounding area very well kept.
We love seeing movies at Deer Park Cinema. The staff is always helpful and quick to serve. The theater is clean and the restrooms are clean and supplied.
New reclining seats move this into a better class of theatre. Just wish there were more variety of movies.
First run movies in a rural setting, its the only cinema within about thirty miles. Its clean and reasonably priced. There are a few reclining seats in the front two rows only, but it seems they may be upgrading all the seats eventually. Its rarely crowded, especially on weekdays. They do not show matinees during the week. We asked for close caption devises, which they had but no one around could figure out how to use them.
Attended a movie here while on vacation. Very nice theatre with great comfortable seats. Staff was nice, professional and helpful. A great experience!
This is an impressive theatre. Although the line to get in was almost out the door, the staff was able to quickly take tickets and get everyone in the theatre. The popcorn was fresh and everyone who worked there was friendly.
Comfortable seating but doesnt recline. Good movie selection.
The second movie theater I ever patroned, I liked Lincoln theater better. Still feel a little nostalgia for Deer Park though. The place I watched the original Jurassic Park. Great times can be had here, and its the only theater in the area.
Wished the seats where a bit more comfortable and leaned back more
They have reclining seats.
Very nice. Seats very comfortable.
Awesome 5 screen digital theatre. Workers were extremely caring and helpful. If you need anything just ask and they are willing to do the best they can to help.
Great venue with select seating, comfortable plush chairs, good snacks and great movie selections. Fantastic date spot.
I attend the theater as often as there is a decent movie to see and am always glad to be there. The truth is that the ticket price goes to the movie providers, so the only money keeping the staff employed and the theater open comes from the concessions. I am more than happy to pay to help the cause. The popcorn is continually being popped and is 5-10 minutes fresh when there is enough attendance to keep it popping. I look forward to seeing the staff. They are courteous and professional and conversational if you engage them. Always friendly, always smiling. I have never seen anything dirty, although I dont take a flashlight in to the theater to examine the seat coverings like the other guy. The only problem area is the floor beneath the urinals where guys cant seem to get it right. I dont expect a staff member to stand there and clean up after each user. All in all, I really enjoy going there and just wish there were more decent films available.
Great comfortable seats. They started a reserved setting system which seems unnecessary, but other, clean and nice.
Smaller 4 screen cinema. Has upgraded recliner seating but they put them in the first 2 or 3 rows which is too close. They promote surround sound with a trailer but the movies I saw only had sound from behind the screen. Parking lot was laid out strange with only 1 entrance and 1 exit.
It is an improvement since they put in new seating and a lot better than driving out of town. But I still have to drive 3 hours round trip for the big screen experience.
The theater gets most of the good movies, it seems to be comfortable, and their prices are pretty good. It would be nice if they had tightwad Tuesday with $5 tickets. And $2 pop corns on that day.. other ideas would be prices for seniors, veterans firefighters police officers, or special days they would get a discount. The community would have a much better idea and opinions of the theater, if they tried to accommodate the public.
