Royal Cinemas & IMAX

Only critique would be to have better tasting popcorn. Staff and facility was great.

Really enjoyed this theater. It was our first time here and really thought it was a great experience all around. There was a little grille restaurant there where you could order dine in food that you could bring into the movies. Note that they wont deliver it to the actual theater but you can order and take it with you. I ordered the wings and fries and it was fantastic. A bit pricey in my opinion but it came out quickly and tasted delicious! Also loved how every row had its own space in front with a little railing. We took our kids including my 2 year old and she had space to walk a bit between her dad and me. Whenever Im in the area again, Im definitely visiting again!

We came for a Sweetest Day Date, being from Michigan its a holiday...I swear...just apparently not in Georgia lolWe had a great time. The recliner seats are just amazing! The popcorn was delicious! The salt and cheddar topping is behind the counter which was cool we didnt have to touch stuff 100 other people had. We went to a matinee and literally had the whole theater to ourselves and another couple. We bought tickets online so it was easy to pick our perfect middle of the theater seats. The pop was calibrated perfectly...I just wished they had Dr. Pepper...Mr Pibb is not a Dr. Pepper replacement lolAll of the staff we encountered were super friendly. The movie was great!! Sound was perfect, picture was perfect! It was a great start to our whole day date!

Labor Day 2020. Sadly, the worst cinema visit in years. Decided an iMax experience would be a great break from virus isolation ... Not! The movie (Tenet) itself was a real dud, but OMG the audio volume onslaught was unbearable. We actually tore up snack napkins to stuff our ears trying to escape the excessive noise. Save your $$$. Don’t waste it on this movie at this iMax venue. The theatre seemed in good repair and clean - but a manager with “normal” hearing really needs to visit each viewing space to adjust settings to pleasant levels that preserve the audio health of patrons.

Out of the local theaters around here, this is my preferred place. The seating is extremely comfortable and Im glad they went to the recliners. Staff is generally friendly, the facilities are usually pretty clean.

Worker at concessions was very nice and friendly! Seats were comfy and popcorn was great!

They’re practicing social distancing and cleaning up theaters afterwards, and I lost my AirPods and a worker found them for me and kept them safe for a week

Really good experience the prices are not high at all I would recommend

Enjoyed visiting this theater! Hey, FYI...theres a bar! So date night just got a little better The popcorn wasnt super amazing and the theater we were in smelled strongly of gentlemans cologne. However, the theater itself, including the bathrooms were incredibly clean! We actually had a really wonderful time and I will definitely visit again! Oh, and Tuesday days the movie tickets are $5! Sweet!

My husband and I took our boys to see Sonic and we had a great time. We thoroughly enjoyed the reclining seats with small table for each patron. Staff was super friendly and courteous!

This is one of the nicest theater’s I’ve been to so far. They have nice cushion seats with small tables that swing in and out of the couch like seats, with red pillows for extra comfort. you have to choose seating when you buy your tickets. Customer service is pretty good as well, I think they will bring your food to you if your in a rush to get to movie and your order is going to take awhile. Overall I highly recommend this movie theater it’s super comfy.

This is our favorite movie date theatre! The seats are just so dang comfy!

Loved it and social distancing was great. I would go back real soon.

What an amazing experience. I was grateful to have my son party at Royal Cinemas. The process of preparing this special event was easy. Emily helped me to organize my seats. (54 seats) She even called me with updates as promised. I was able to work with Tyler. He provided great customer service. He assisted me with purchasing the tickets. He actually greeted us the day of the movie. He truly made us feel welcomed. Paige was outstanding and amazing she helped with pizza and drinks and made sure we had everything that we needed. She even followed up to make sure we were all set after everything was delivered. I really appreciate everyone for their help. I actually added glow in the dark things for the party guest. Glow in the dark movie party. I’m very thankful and pleased. Thank you, Thank you.

Service was good, different than expected when purchasing tickets. Sign on the ticket booth I instructed customers to purchase tickets from a kiosk or the concession stand. This helped with a fast transition from the lobby to the IMAX, which is available.

Me and my family have been going to this theatre for nearly 5yrs now and we have enjoyed all its amenities throughout those years. I especially enjoyed the comfortable family friendly atmosphere. On behalf of me and my family I would like to thank everyone there at the Royal Cinemas & IMAX location for providing a safe and clean environment for us to relax enjoy please Keep up the great work!

Best movie theater ever, not to mention the seats are the best!

First time going even though its been open for a while but the experience was awesome and the food was good and not pricey at all well worth the $65 (tickets and bar food) for date night. We will most definitely be back again.

Cool lil theater, but in need of more amenities. They need to upgrade to assigned seating and reclining chairs. Those are almost everywhere nowadays and something i like to have. The theater looks like ita from the 1980s, but I will admit the screens were good, i could feel the AC during the movie and all the staff is very helpful and polite.

The food is very over priced. Fast service & very courteous staff. I do not see 1 battered fish & small fry = $8.99, sorry that is well over priced. My husband had a burger, fry(looked like from a happy meal size)& slice of cheese cake. Total= $38.49. We will never eat there again. Like the leather seats & comfortable reclined position. Cleaned seats & floors. No sign of any wear or tear. Smelled clean too.

The Royal Cinemas is my familys first pick when we have movie nights. We always receive great customer service, great snacks, and fast service. Not only are the employees awesome, but they also have excellent management. Maria is very sweet and ensures that every customer has a delightful experince.

We really enjoy this theater. They offer $5 Tuesdays which is really good. The tostitos nachos are not adequate. They are the mini chips and way too salty. I wish they had the original size but you wont know that until after youve paid $6 for them. Other than that lots of parking, smiling faces, and easy ticket purchasing. There is also an adult bar and arcade games.

We had a an awesome time; the movie BAD BOYS WAS GOOD AND EXCITING.....

This place was really nice. Clean. Easy to get the tickets, no lines. The reclining seats were comfortable and they give you a pillow for your neck or your back. There is an area where you can order alcoholic beverages while waiting for the movie to start. I will definitely go back when i go to pooler, Georgia. I recommend it.

This place is great! I love the reclining chairs, with lots of arm and leg room. The theater itself has been great about helping me when Ive made mistakes. Super impressed each time we go.

Weve been going to this theater for a long time now and its hard to imagine going to your normal theater anymore once you experienced IMAX. Staff was great. I just recently saw Star Wars: ROS and I like how they sometimes have people from art class there dressed up as characters in the movies youre going to see. Not to mention the game room.

Lay back recliner seats are comfortable. Very clean. But I found a bit expensive for two at a matinee including tickets and a medium coke and popcorn meal for $31 but it is free refills so I assume thats built in the price. I have not been since they renovated it with the new recliner seats.

Comfortable recliner seats available and reasonable ticket pricing. Plenty of parking space and the automated ticket buying process was quick and easy, with several terminals to keep lines short. Good quality screens and sound. I didnt give it five stars because the room our movie was in smelled very musty and the air freshener they are attempting to cover it up with is not working.

Used to work here. Great people to be around, always upgrading and very clean. Still friends with people Ive made friends with there 3 years later. Would definitely go back if Im ever in town.

Love this theater, super clean, friendly employees as well as outstanding customer service. Love the reclining seats, you can purchase food and alcohol as well.

Best theater! We drive an hour away to see movies here. Cleanliness, friendly staff and overall great atmosphere.

Wonderful service and loved the reclining leather seats. The little pillows was a nice touch too. Super nice!!

It had great food. The seats are very comfortable. I just saw Frozen 2 it was awesome .

Comfortable seats. Very clean. Best prices. Everyone prompt and courteous. This was our first time but will now be our theater of choice.

Fantastic seats! Best ever. I love the recliners. Ill go again for sure.

Went to see Sonic. Awesome service. Great food. Wonderful reclining seats.

The place is beautiful inside and out even the bathroom. The theater area where I watched the movie was comfortable and amazing.

First time going and all great things! Comfortable chairs and good food. Nice and helpful staff as well. Will definitely be coming back!

Got good seats employees were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back. Recliners were very comfortable, just like being home!!

Always enjoy this theater. Clean bathrooms, lobby and movie area. Offers alcohol for those thst drink. Cannot take alcohol into viewing area. Reasonably priced. Great place.

Very clean. Front desk staff is younger and you can tell some of them would rather be anywhere else; not rude just disinterested. Theaters are always clean and The recliners are comfortable

Clean facilities and nice staff

So far this is the best theater Ive been to. They are very well kept, and the floors are NOT sticky. One of the cleanest theaters ever. They have plenty of people at the counters to sell you your tickets so it doesnt take too long to get through. The only problem I have is the price of the food and drink, but then again when is theater food cheap. I live in Savannah, and when my friends and I want to see a movie we go here.

I fell fast asleep in the recliner. I will go there for now on. Its amazing

I want to send a shout out to my favorite movie theater. I went to watch the Rambo movie and Sly did not let his fans down. It was moving and tearful and filled with action and lots of his traps he makes and uses to kill ya!! I especially want to thank the staff who is so helpful and polite and if you dont know where your reclining seat is will show you!! The White Claw drinks and peanut butter cheese cake sends your mouth a dancing!! So if wanting to be waited on ladies by two sweet handsome men then come and meet Bobby and Hunter and see for yourself.....

Place is huge so it doesnt feel overcrowded. Reclined chairs and personal table top for drinks and food. If your forced to go watch a boring movie you just dont really care about, youll sleep great here. Very comfortable.

Prices were reasonable, staff was friendly. I loved the self serve drink station where you could add in different flavors to your soda. The reclining seats were AMAZING! One of the best theaters Ive been to.

Went to a movie tonight, some young men kept taking flash pictures and staying on their phones. My asked them to stay off their phones and when they didn’t said he was complaining to the management, at which time one of them stated that he works there. If that is the way they handle that type of situation I’ll never go back.

A great place to watch the new movies as they come out. Most of the theaters have some or all recliner seats giving you more room and comfort for your watching pleasure. The food is varied and tasteful. Highly recommend.

The IMAX theater is the best! So far weve been every weekend since coming to pooler.

I was on the first row and even though it was a huge screen and we were so close, the seats reclined and that really helped. I also liked that there was a tray for the food on the side that you could pull over in front of you and enjoy watching the movie without having to turn your head away from the screen. Great sound also and a most enjoyable experience!!

Its was great. We reserve our seats. When got there our adult girls had wine at the bar. Our seats were the recycling ones that would lay out like a bed with a throw pillow. The movie was fantastic. The building was very nice and clean. The staff was excellent, very helpful and they seen to enjoy their jobs they were all smiling. The pop corn smell and taste wonderful. Overall I had a great date night with my girls. I would go again and I would rate this place a five star.

The staff was phenomenal. I took my son to see Toy Story 4 and we dropped our nachos just as it was about to start and they had it cleaned up before I returned with a replacement. Excellent service!

My favorite place to go to movies! Recliners, clean, bar and restaurant is alright food expensive but good. Need a bigger menu lol but I overall absolutely love this theator

I love love love the recliner seats!! It makes the whole movie watching experience a lot better! The screen was really wide and the sounds are amazing! They have arcades and a nice concession area too! Will definitely be back again! Oh the male rest room has cool Marvel and DC comics posters!

Very clean and nice. I LOVE the leather reclining seats and pillows. I also like the $5 Tuesday admission.

Love the reclining seats. The family and I go often. Recommend ordering tickets online to get the best seats.

The theater itself is great (especially the IMAX). However, as my two coworkers stated, we tried to watch a movie tonight and a bunch of high school brats kept taking pictures / flashing their phone lights. When we told them to knock it off, one of them said we couldn’t do anything SINCE HE WORKED HERE.Needless to say, we won’t be coming back anytime soon ️(On a positive note, the manager did provide one of my coworkers with a refund which is solid. Just a shame this brat employee will cost them 3 regular customers).

Customer service was lacking but they were younger kids so I cant complain much. Clean theater, comfortable seats. Great sound systems. Wish there was a photo booth here!

Well it smelled like disenfectant covered vomit. The movie started and the house lights were still up. My husband had to go ask someone to turn them off. It was freezing cold not from ac but, lack of heat. We were the only people in theater 9 and apparently the entire cinema. The janitor came in at least three times during the movie, I guess to make sure we hadnt left so they could lock up. If you dont want people there late dont have 945 start times on movies.

I love 5.00 dollars during the day!It is such a pleasant experience! You can see any movie ! Purchase a few snacks and escape from your reality for a short time.

Comfortable reclining seats with pillows for your back and tables for your food. Clean and comfortable.

It was a fine experience. There are 3 main ways that one can enjoy a film. Theres regular, Dinner Theater and IMAX! I went to the dinner theater (DT) which means you get a recliner and a built-in tray for food. The screen was smaller than Id like, but the overall visit was positive.

Great movie theater. The grill and restaurant is pretty decent as well.

Very nice movie experience. We really like the recliner seats and the ability to add our own bbn butter and salt to our popcorn. The prices were a bit steep, about $50 for a family of 3 for tickets, drinks, andpopcorn, but that is about average now. The theater smelled a bit musty, but my wife didnt complain so it must not have been too bad. I was a bit warm and my wife was a bit cold so you can take that for what its worth. Overall we really enjoyed it and look forward to going back.

Great IMAX experience not too many people and comfortable seating Birds of prey was a good movie

They have reclining chairs and a cute tray to put your drink, popcorn and candy. Very clean and such an awesome experience.

Nice theater, expect to pay a lot.... 2 adults & 2 kids, popcorn, drinks & snacks at the matinee showing was $90..... and to top it off, they were out of reclining seats.

I always enjoy coming to this theater the seats are so comfortable it definitely deserves a five star rating

Cool lil theater. The Imax screen is dang impresive and the biggest fake-Imax screen Id ever seen. The theater looks like a throwbaxk from the 80s and is always packed. With reserved seating, reclining chairs and food/drink brought to you during the movie being such a common thing I have to rate it 3 stars as this theater has none of that (they have 1 screen that has those options..but 1 screen??? Huh?)

I really do enjoy this theater, but the lack of ushers in the theaters nowadays is upsetting. I cant even enjoy going to the movies anymore because people are so incredibly rude and constantly taking their phones out and lighting up the theater. Why is there no one to enforce the no cell phone policy? Why even have the policy if youre not going to enforce it? I wont be going back to this theater thanks to the rude people in this area and lack of staff.

Quite possibly the best movie-going experience Ive ever had.Self-help kiosks, online seat reservations, reclining seats, good food, a bar/restaurant onsite, clean restrooms.Seriously, good job to whoever put work into making this place what it is. I was staying in Savannah for a week and wanted to catch a movie. All the theaters in Savannah had reviews that had a resounding eh but this place is being sung praises all over the place. And I now see why.

We visited Savannah on a mini getaway trip and decided to go see IT: Chapter 2. This theater has reclining seats! & I mean RECLINE! With a mini pillow! Super comfortable seats!! Even up close to the screen it didnt hurt our necks! Will definitely come back whenever we visit savannah again!

Love coming to this theater because of the assign setting. The only probably I had it was a boy helping me with my order for snacks. He seems like he didnt want to be there or help me. But I didnt pay him any mind. Also the theaters is always clean

Very impressed w this theater. Excellent service and the quality of the movie and sound. The snack bar had a very wide assortment of things to choose from and had a drink machine w any combination of soda you wanted. The popcorn had seasoning of every type and to top it all off the seats reclined all the way with footrests and pillows. They dont have theaters like this where I live. I am hoping they will soon

Lovely cinema newly renovated, good food and alcoholic beverages available.

This is my son and I normal spot....recliners great spot everything..Last night tho Toy Story 4 standard@ 550. That theater was warm and the warmer it got the more it begin to smell like piss. That was just ridiculous. Gotta do better on that. Other than that. It was aight. We will try again.

The best and only theater I go to. Comfy, nice people and awesome snacks. Dont waste your time anywhere else.

Been going here for years. I cant recall any technical issues with the movies, and the matinee prices are hard to beat. Of course its a movie theater, so snack prices are ridiculously expensive. The place is also fairly clean. They also offer 5 dollar matinees on Tuesday.

This is the best movie theater I have ever been to. Highly recommend!

Great sound... good seating..and the popcorn is always good there too.

Best movie theater ever

The movie Midway was Great. The theater is very comfortable and is a great place to watch a movie

Another Great Experience!! Never fails, always love coming here w/ my fiancee to either catch the latest & greatest in new movies, or to see one weve already experienced or to watch it again!! Environment is always fresh, nice, phenomenal southern hospitality!! The customers, eehhh not so much, but what goes it matter, they come & go, well never see em again, all that matters is weve enjoyed ourselves @ our regular go to movie theater!!! Keep up the great work Royal Cinemas Team

The Movie was excellent badboys for life the theater was very clean and the food was good

Theater has nice amenities, was reasonably clean. The staffs attitudes need a big adjustment. My husband and I were carded for a movie when a passel of children were allowed through into the same theater uninhibited. The individual checking tickets copped an attitude when I asked why obvious adults were being carded vs. kids.

Big screen is wonderful. I just wish the seating to change to the recliners. I have been spoiled by this feature and now small seating spaces, no recliners no heated seats are a turn OFF.

I love the theatre and the fact that you can sit down and have a beer before hand. Theres too many kids that get kicked out of the bowling alley down the road and come here though. Always a police officer there though.

This is my go-to theater! Love the recliner seats, the entrance and line area is always really clean, and the employees are pretty nice while actually appearing to enjoy their job. Never had a bad experience here since they opened and I like how you can reserve seats in advance. The IMAX theater is awesome, saw Endgame and Godzilla in there and it really made two great movies even better

Clean theater. Overhead air conditioning unit was rattling throughout a quiet movie. Otherwise a fine establishment.

Great place to see a movie but bring u4 wallet

Very nice theater. I like how small and intamant the theaters are. The seats were very comfortable and spaced apart. I also like picking my own seat before I buy my ticket. Very friendly staff. The popcorn was not great and there are no discount on matene.

Clean. Great seats. And five dollars Tuesdays are hard to beat!

Not crazy for it... the seats are cheap and uncomfortable, food is pricy, and just not very impressive. GTX or AMC are better options in the area.

We loved it there and We will keep on. Going back on Tuesday thank you for a fun family time I felt safe it was the first time for my grandkids to go to the movies since all the shootings

IMAX is amazing! The invisible Man was good movie

Awesome movie theater. Those reclining seats was the bomb. Movie was good also. Cant wait to go for another movie and popcorn.

I really like this theater. It’s clean, spacious, and never really any long lines. Compared to the other theater in Pooler, they offer a variety of popcorn flavorings which is a treat. I love the white cheddar seasoning. The food pricing is good and they serve alcohol! Reclining seats are amazing - the most recline I’ve experienced in a theater.

Went with my niece to watch toy story 4 and she loved it. Great movie theater, with great movie choices.

The popcorn was warm and the toppings were delicious. I also enjoyed the brownie. The only downside is the cost of the concession food. The seats were comfortable but the theater was cold. They have handicap seating and some recliner seating. Enjoyable movie with our grandson.
