This museum makes me want to be a hot rod fanatic! I want to go back again soon to see the new displays the staff were telling us about. I was really impressed with the quality of this place; it reminds me of a super clean mechanics garage where you *could* eat off the floor, if you wanted to. Five stars all the way!

Took my kids that have a love for hot rods and all things that go. We loved it! Plus theres a car that you can just into and its hands on which is a plus for the kids.

Finally after years of promising myself to go to the NHRA (Wally Parks) museum. I made it and it did not disappoint.Theres such rich history there, from John Forces 200th win Wally, fantastic old photos of the glory days of drag racing, speed record cars, original helmets and jackets to drag bikes and memorabilia.Because I had other commitments I rushed through the museum in about 2.5 hours. Give yourself about 3.5 hours to take your time.

This place is full of horsepower and history... The people who built and drove these cars had nerves of steel! Stop by and enjoy the crazy that drag car racing has to offer. Great people here that will share the history with you if you have the time and are so inclined! A fabulous experience for this car guy!

If you are an NHRA fan at all, definitely take the tour of this facility. Lots of rich history and vehicles that have broken speed record after record. Wrap it into a trip to the LA Fair next year and check out some of the great dining establishments that are close by.

I really would have liked to have had more time to read more on the cars and really take time to take it all in, unfortunately with two kids that was harder. I would have really liked if there was someone available to give more information is certain areas. If you like Hot Rods this is a great place to visit.

Managed to sneak out early from my own presentation in Anaheim and take a side trip to the museum. Such a great presentation of the larger history of drag racing and SoCal car culture; far more than just the sanitized version of drag racing on television. Gift shop was limited and overpriced. And someone called security when I took one of the museum displays into the parking lot to practice burnouts..... otherwise a great stop!

Not a huge place but packed full of race cars. We came on Fathers day and there was a special entrance pricing! Located in the Pomona Fairplex parking area so parking was easy and free. You are not allowed to touch any of the vehicles except for one which you can sit in.

Ok place. It has some cool cars and cool old cars. We ( my wife and I ) were disappointed that that was all there was to a national museum for a major racing series. It just doesnt have that much. ( Have been to Daytons museum at the track and Nascar museum which are far more interactive and have much more to offer)

If I carry on too much, you have to know I have been coming to the races at Pomona since 1967 so many of the cars in the Museum I have seen on the drag strip when they were in their prime and at the top of their game. What memories. The displays are fabulous. To have all these machines preserved and in such wonderful shape is a feast for the imagination and the eye. I would be a docent if I lived near by, really. Be aware of some special setups that they have at the museum, special cars that travel around the country to various Museums and car shows. I had the opportunity to take a friend who loved batman so much she had a logo tattoo installed. When the docents at the museum saw it she was allowed to get in the bat-mobile for a photo shoot. How nice. It is a must see for drag racing fans and a good show for everybody else!

The place is awesome but the personnel there are some of the rudest people I have ever met. The guard on the north side of the child development center frowned constantly at us and acted like he hated to be there much less help out some out of towners with there questions. When I complained to the lady inside she could have cared less about the incident so we left. Like I said, awesome place but very rude people.
