Its pretty cool but closed and so is spadra cemetery not sure exactly why

Cool to look at I guessEDIT: After reading up on the history of Spadra and this building in particular, I have to change my review. Dumb dumb dumb. This is the last vestige of when this area was a bustling part of the wild west, and the fact that it is still standing is remarkable. Re-visiting the mansion after educating myself proper was time well spent.

Historic site in Pomona. Docent was very well versed on the life of the Phillips family. Its unfortunate that the house is in need of a new roof and there are no funds available at this time. Also, the tours are only available about 4 times a year. Beautiful home of the late 1800.

I grew up looking across a field from my backyard at Phillips mansion.And in the summer the historical society would have a open house . I remember the stage coach rides there were always fun. I cant see it from my backyard anymore because of all the industrial buildings. Ramona boulevard used to be nothing but citrus groves and wheatfields. Everything has changed so much . But looking over at Phillips mansionWas a great childhood memory.

This place is beautiful. It holds a lot of rich and interesting history. Its an inexpensive tour, family friendly, knowledgeable staff, and wonderful way to give back to preserving more history in Pomona.

It wasnt open when I got there. there wasnt any information about tours so we just left. kind of a bummer, but whatever. its a pretty nice looking house from outside the fence, though!

Such an amazing place, I just hope one day they can open the house to the public!!!
