Thanks for the great tour, Mike! SO much history!
Very interesting historical site. The new caretaker has already improved the site tremendously and can tell he cares for its preservation. The artifacts onsite are amazing.. would consider a wedding or private party in their pinic area. If in town on a Sunday be sure to visit.
Completed about 1854 and restored in 1939, this was the family home of Don Ygnacio Palomares.
Love learning history very informative
Had a great time with my dads retired friends .... it was a bbq and the atmosphere was pleasant
I havent been here for 12 years and i cant wait to go back! I love learning about my family history! #Alvardo #White
My 4 the grade class went to Palomares for a feild trip. It had so much faces and historical artifacts.
Could not find their hours on their website and they looked open so we pulled in to check it out. While pulling in we saw a sing that said they were closed so we went to make a u turn and was accosted by a crazed violent old man who kept screaming at us to leave and making threatening and obscene gestures. Did not feal safe and would not come again. Its a shame history should be made available to everyone.
Great place learn and explore
