We dont live near this Michaels however we drove out to the store because they had something our local store did not have in stock. The clerk on the phone went out of her way to help us and held the item for us. She was awesome.. I love Michaels but especially the Pleasant Hil store now that I know they have great customer service!

The staff is always friendly and willing to help me find what Im looking for. Michaels also have good pricing on most items. They have great sales.

Our go-to store for projects, school supplies and art supplies. One in a while there are some great deals on frames. The seasonal section also has great deals when theyre doing inventory clearing. If youre like us with kids getting annoyed being home all the time, this is a great spot to get some crafting projects and get those kids busy. Your mental health will thank you for it.

Perfect experience! First time going to this Michaels. I loved the large variety, all the workers were friendly, even when I had already exited the store, a worker told me to have a great evening while outside. Parking is available, great Sunday hours.

The employees have always been very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable about the various crafts that interest us.The store itself is large and always well stocked.This is our go-to location and since the pandemic, we have downloaded their app and utilized their curbside pickup; which went seamlessly.

Something about the layout feels particularly cramped. Half the staff is super friendly but others are borderline rude.

The store is clean! The staff was knowledgeable about where things were when I asked for help. Some staff saw me trying to carry a bunch while pushing a stroller and offered to help! They even helped carry it out of the store for me!Minus the older grumpy lady at the picture counter in the back. Maybe she’s not having a good day. Maybe she hates her job. Idk. She never smiled an either ignored me when I asked questions or gave me the impression she was to busy to help. Not 100% sure so I can’t judge. But I won’t let one ehhhh employee determine the whole stores staff an vibes.Excited to keep coming back here for all my crafty needs!

I went to Michaels to see what holiday items they had left from Black Friday. This is a wonderful fun filled store. They have everything art-like you can imagine and more. Their pricing is unmatched on many regular and sale items. Items that are normally considered costly like large picture frames are much more economical at this store. To top it off, their customer service is top notch and everyone is always cheerful and willing to help you. Great store. Highly recommend.

They have everything needed for any crafts. Whats better then glitter? More glitter of course according to my daughter. Its fun walking around and seeing all the different things they have. Toys, frames, fake plants, home decor items, candy, models, paint, yarn and allot more. Watch the prices as some items are a bit high priced. Check the website to find a coupon to use at check out!

Michaels has many items for those interested in doing crafts. Unfortunately they are extremely limited in true art supplies, such as oil or acrylic paints, brushes, canvases etc. It is a shame that instead they have an over flowing amount of aisles for fake flowers and many other such items. Also, it is extremely difficult to get anyone to help you as they seems to only have 2 people in the whole store sometimes. Today, the line was extremely long with only one cashier because (we were told), everyone was out to lunch.

Tiny store with a lot of inventory. They have a great selection of craft supplies and frames. Their floral, seasonal, and candle departments are sufficient but Hobby Lobby has a much better selection. Their registers move slow during busy days despite using scanners to ring up items. Hobby Lobby always gets a bad rap for being slow (everything there is rung up manually) but I dont really see the advantage of scanners here.

Nic nacs. Had what we needed for a project on our back patio.

I wanted to buy a fairy garden as a birthday present (those plastic sets that come with a fairy, a house, seeds, soil, and some other accessories to decorate the house). I asked for help 2 times since I couldn’t find these gardens. None of the staff members took me to the aisle, but told me to go by myself, and they both sent me to wrong aisles. Looks like they didn’t know the product I was looking for and decided not to engage with my me. After searching through the whole store, I found only one garden among very unlike products, and I ended buying another thing because the box was damaged.

Michaels is conveniently located and provides a variety of options for all your arts and craft needs. Some of their products are a bit expensive but for the quality, location, and service, its definitely worth it! :)

I placed an online order for pickup, i received 2 of the 9 items and wS told they knew nothing about the rest of the order. On my email it has not been updated, i would like a refund.

Isles are way to narrow

Great selection if items, but not enough staff. Long chechbout lines, limited staff available to help you find items, and the store has an overall slightly messy feel (which I am guessing is due to so many customers and not enough staff). All that said, the selection is great and the prices are reasonable, so Ill still return.

They have just about anything you need

Smooth checkout experience even when the line seems long due to all the attendants working the registers. Great for creative types who want to make their own jewelry or print their own t-shirts. They need to have a separate area for online pick ups. The whole point of having them get it ready is that I wanna go in pick it up and go. It was already paid for. I dont wanna wait in a long line with peeps that havent paid yet

Much of the store was on sale or clearance. Felt a bit like a liquidation or preparation to close the store. (just my opinion, nothing concrete to go on)It’s odd that online orders have to be picked up in the farthest rear corner of the store in the framing department. Also, only one person was working in that area and there were a few of us in line. The ease of a typical online order/pick up wasn’t quite so easy here.As I worked my way back through the store, it felt scattered and disorganized. The random merchandise selections on display didn’t feel well thought out. They seem to have lost their way with a hodgepodge of cheaply produced items.And as usual, the checkout process at this particular Michaels is painfully slow and irritating. Regretted grabbing a sketchbook, A couple of art supplies, and a bottle of water because the time it takes to checkout just isn’t worth it.

Fantastic Michaels location. Clean and organized, with a very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Great bargains in the clearance aisle. Some fab home decor items. Inspiration everywhere you look. Plenty of parking. Lots of choices within walking distance for a bite to eat. Highly recommend this nifty craft store for anyone and everyone. Clean restrooms and handicapped parking available.

They were having a sale on yarn! Still pricy but with coupon it was decent. Lovely service.

I love shopping at this Michaels for many reasons, but one of the main reasons is the phenomenal staff! Not only are they incredibly helpful & polite, but every employee that Ive ever asked for help or interacted with, has been very knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond to answer my questions or help me out!! They also carry everything you could possibly need for crafting, sewing, art, school projects, Etc... You name it, theyve got it!! And if for some reason they dont have what you need, then theyll gladly point you in the right direction where to find it! And the coupons/discounts are also great & theyre constantly putting out new ones with great offers!!

The store clerks are always kind and are willing to help you find what it is you really need for whatever project you may be working on.

Always enjoy visiting Micheals. The PH location is easy to get to, shares plenty of parking with other stores nearby, was not very crowded at noonish on a Tuesday. I went to pickup an online order, one other customer in front of me. Counter person helping that customer asked how they could help, told him there to pick up online order. He called Clark up from the back who promptly greeted me and asked what he could do for me. He went back and retrieved part of my order, and then went back to retrieve the remainder (12 BIG skeins of yarn). Very quick & polite. Great customer service on the phone too - verifying my order and pulling items from other stores to fulfill my order, calling to let me know order was ready in addition to email. Great, quick and easy visit today.

Terrible customer service experience. Called for a pickup order, was the only customer waiting but they then helped two people ahead of me including another pickup order.

Nice selection of acrilic and oil paint. Canvas, but costum fraiming Id expensive. I had 70% coupons for Michaels and Joannes fabric and frame with coupon for the same picture in Michaels was 61 dollars and in Joannes 46 dollars. Framing was really close by quality.

Shelves in the area I was looking were about 1/3 empty. (Baking aisle) . I was looking for 5 square baking pan and settled for 6 as they did not have the 5. The sales associate was helpful and cheerful. They had moved the baking section since I had been there last. The prices were reasonable. Since I was in a hurry I did not go in any other section of the store. However, based on my previous experience with the store I would recommend it.

Abbey was so friendly and helpful! I was trying to buy many different jars of glitter and just need one more that was out on the shelf, she went above and beyond to check the inventory they had at the store. I really appreciated her assistance! This is why I love shopping in stores instead of online! Thanks again Abbey!

Always the best place for any holiday

Love Michaels. So much arts and craft accessories and so much more. Need definitely a couple hours to go through the entire store.

Purchased a lot of things. The girl at the register was trying to hurry me up and before I could get my wallet out, I had exact change but she put a different amount. Poor girl didnt know math and was having a difficult time with balancing her till. I unfortunately had no confidence in my purchase, so I sat in my car and made sure she got everything. Yeah... She charged me twice on an item. Ok thats fine, I go in and was ready to pull my items out for her to recount again but she was already to give me my refund. I take back my item to put in my bag, and she said.. no I have to take that. I said.. you charged me twice on one item. I let it sink in and she finally got it. It was busy and Christmas season. Perhaps have more experienced people at the register.

So much stuff. If looking for crafts, art supplies, decorations or just off the wall items it worth a look. Staff has always been very helpful.

A lot of some items. Sparse pickings on others. Nothing for airbrushing. Out of stock on any kind of graphite paper. And none on reorder for some reason. Always interesting things at reasonable prices if youre just looking for a product or something new to try.

I went in here because I didnt have a pen at the post office so I used one of The gel pens off the sample display of pens and then put it back didnt buy nothing and then I left

Huge, great selection of everything crafty.

This is the place I go to for all my crafting needs. They always have good option for seasonal flowers for bouquets. Plus, they always have sales and a 40-50% coupon for any regularly priced items online.

A bit disappointed, its October and they have no orange, brown or yellow tissue paper for Thanksgiving gifts, I asked a clerk if they had any and he said, its Halloween its all gone. Poor planning for the upcoming season.

They have some upscale marker pads(Bee paper), Tombow markers, Swarovski crystal products, DMC etoile thread, etc. Worth the drive but parking is terrible.

As far as Michaels go, this one is rather small. Service is great, but the store constantly seems to be devoid of product. Perhaps I end up coming in on days before restock happens?

The cashier patiently answered all my questions and gave me her undivided attention even though the store was going to close, as if I mattered more.
