Its a great discount theater. Nothing high tech or special. Its movies without all the insane pricing on tickets or concessions. They are awesome for budget movie nights or date nights that dont break the bank. And the drive in theater setup they have added since covid closed so much down is a wonderful addition and quite a fun throwback. Worth the experience. They may not have all the upgrades, but they are great in the world of discount theaters.
I live the water gardens! I’m hey have affordable concessions, and a very family centered focus. They have come a long ways from the sticky shoe theater that I remember as a child. Sometimes they hold events in their parking lot; like a recent car show they had for the screening of the movie Ford vs. Ferrari. I really enjoyed it, and the whole family had fun. It’s an affordable theater for families that does not have any R-rated movie showings, and I like that.
For a cheap theater, you cant ask for a better experience. It was clean, they were friendly, and the tickets were literally half the price as the other two major theaters nearby for the same movie. We didnt get any concessions, but the snacks are much cheaper than your typical theater as well. Id definitely recommend coming here for a good movie viewing experience
Important to note that there is no mask enforcement at all. I would guess that maybe 10% of people had masks.
Nice theater with good screens and sound. Theater was a little out of the way and hard to get to from the main road but it had good screens and sound with comfy seating. Very importantly, the concession were very well priced! I never love paying the price for movie theater concessions but I was happily surprised by the price of everything.
We love movies and we absolutely LOVE this theater! They are not open on Sundays, they dont show any rated R movies and their concessions seem super cheap. We literally drive across the valley to go there and support these guys and Im sure we always will. Definitely highest recommendations from me.
The BEST theaters in Utah, hands down! Opened their parking lot to a Drive-In during the shutdown. Super cheap concessions and tickets. Clean facility and friendly service every time.
This is the type of business the community can get behind. Theyve worked hardto create an experience that is affordable, accommodating, and more. I couldnt be more impressed with the ownership and the people that there.Thank you for being a people-focused business.
I love this theater! They have super good prices and the theaters are always clean!
I love this theater. Reminds me of when I was a kid. Friendly, helpful staff, great facility and prices a family can afford. Brilliant owner, doing the drive in.
Im glad theyve figured out a way to stay in business during covid. I like the drive in idea... Hope they can figure out something when it gets cold.I liked their solution to concessions, having them out to pick up and buy. Seemed like they had a good selection.I have 2 complaints...Looked like the movie on lot 4(?) The one on the side of the building... The movie kept glitching and skipping... Really annoying. Also, I got an order of Nachos... Worst ever.Stale chips, cold cheese sauce that barely covered the top layer.I was there for an event on 9/12, so maybe it was a off day.
Water Gardens-Pleasant Grove is my favorite theater over all because of the prices. On Tuesday you can go for five dollars including a small drink and popcorn. Other days it’s only $6.50 but if you buy the Boy Scout discount cards you can get buy one get one free and they offer ordering your seats online. The concessions are awesome because the prices are a dollar for small, two dollars for medium and three dollars for large doesn’t matter if it’s popcorn or a drink. Super affordable and the only place where we purchase concessions. They also have a great rewards program!
Very friendly staff. Great prices. Went to see a movie with some friends Friday night. Accidentally left my wallet there at the theater. The staff was more then willing to help me get it back after asking me a few questions to verify it was mine. Very courteous and polite about it also. After searching everywhere I knew it could be, they made it an enjoyable experience. I will continue to go here because of a job well done. Thank you.
Did the drive in theater and its so funnn 10/10 recommend
Always came here with my little siblings, movie tickets are insanely good price and food and snacks are at a good low price! My siblings and i love coming here! Seating and screens are good as well! Cant wait till they re open after the COVID-19!!!
Right now this theater is showing drive-in movies for only $15 per car. You can also buy concessions here. We had a lot of fun last night watching The Karate Kid.
Ive been coming to this theater since I was very small, but you wouldnt think its old by looking. Its always very clean, the staff is well-prepared for crowds, and everyone is so friendly. The prices are fair here, so I can feel secure about buying popcorn and a bag of candy. I also really enjoy the quiz questions they play on the screen before a showing: some of them have audio cues, so its a little more engaging then some theaters.Yeah, I love it here.
So glad theyre offering showings again! Super clean and comfortable. Sound and video were perfect. Plenty of concession options and delicious popcorn! Thank you!
Go for the drive in! We went at 5:15 pm, only 4 other cars there so its easy to social distance. Good price on popcorn, candy, and drinks. Only $10 for the whole car to get in!
Great drive in while COVID is going on. I think they should keep this going even after COVID has stopped. Its really enjoyable in the summer nights and its a unique way of watching a movie that you dont see very often anymore.
I love Water Gardens! It has a great family-friendly atmosphere and unbeatable prices. I highly recommend this theater.
The rare theater that doesnt price gouge you for snacks, never shows R- rated movies, and still shows the greats in a nice, clean theater. Top shelf.
This place is very nice and you cant be their Tuesday deal. Not only do you get your movie for 5 bucks but that includes a small popcorn and drink. To get the same thing at a big theatre like megaplex youre looking at over 10 bucks. They place is very clean and homely. I will definitely be returning. Their candy is also reasonable priced unlike the bigger chain theatres.
Great Theater. Always have enjoyed coming here with family and friends. Friendly, helpful and considerate staff. I would come here anytime.
I always love this movie theatre! They have cheap tickets, but the best part is they have GREAT deals on their popcorn and candy! Candy is only one or two dollars and a big thing of popcorn is only four bucks! I am always happy to go here over most other theaters!
Thank you for providing a great family night activity with your drive in movies. This has been one of our families favorite things through this covid 19. Keep up the great work and excellent service!
Went to the drive in portion of the theater and had a great time. Not a huge screen but big enough everybody could see. Definitely will go to this theater more often
They are open. They get my business. Picking good movies also.
Came for the covid drive in to see empire strikes back. Had a good time for a reasonable price. Will come again if they do ghostbusters or princess bride or tron or innerspace.
Our family loves going here for movies. VERY reasonable pricing on all their snacks and food as compared to other venues. We like their kids snack pack: popcorn, small drink, and a Airhead as the treat. And dont forget to get more butter before you go in! They have a dispensing machine right after concessions.
LOVE that you did a drive in movie the other night!! Way to think outside the box and try to bring a sense of normal back into the community while keeping everyone safe. Would love to see this turn into a tradition.
I drive out of my way to go here. I really appreciate that they do not show or preview r-rated movies here. They also have very affordable treats. And their tickets are half the price of other places! Great for families or dates!
Very family friendly staff. You can grab your candies on the way to the counter. You can also pour as much butter as you want.Seats are a little old fashion, so they dont recline or move at all. Bathrooms are very clean.Enough parking space.
Went to a drive in showing of the movie Austenland, it was great until they turned on the subtitles. They took up most of the screen. Still had a great time!
Wonderful lower cost alternative to see even the new releases. Snacks are actually a normal price! Brilliant! Projectors and sound full quality. Feels older, no full recliners like Cinemark, but you wont care when you realize youre paying a realistic price for everything, and dont feel broke when you leave! Recommended!
Love water gardens its the best theater ever
Not gonna lie I go here for the soul purpose of using the claw machine. The movies are alright, but the claw machine is just so addicting. After hours and hours of using the claw machine I tend to get hungry, so its great that they have all beef hot dogs. Very tasty and warm whenever I get them. I also tend to get water cups to fill with butter just to drink because its so good. Overall Im there about 20 hours a week, definitely would recommend.
This is a great theater. We love the drive in movie set up they have right now during COVID-19.
What a great idea to have a drive in movie! I hope that they keep it up!
Awesome movie theater. Weve come here multiple times for various shows that weve enjoyed. Highly recommend this movie theater. It is well taken care of and in a decent location. You kind of have to go around the railroad tracks to get there if you are coming from the West or South. The show times are usually what work best for us as well.
It was a little bit difficult to get into the parking lot, but once theyre there was sufficient parking. The entrance seemed a little old, but still quite appropriate. I love that the snacks are very inexpensive there... But I was a little bit disappointed that there are no refills. The theater some cells are small as you would expect but sufficient. For the price I was actually quite pleased.
Amazing company! They have that very family-owned friendly feel. They treat the customers right, have great prices, and they actually work on making the theater better over time. It keeps getting better and better! Highly recommend for the price and for the quality of service.
Good theater. Used to be an ideal spot for teens when the prices were lower. Concessions are alright. This is a second choice theater when the bigger ones nearby are sold out or have inconvenient times. Water Gardens should consider going back to being the middle man between the dollar theaters and the big guys.
Pretty good. Only complaint would be I sent my boy out to refill a bucket of popcorn and I just assumed it would be discounted for free. (Nearly all theaters are) when he came back he said that there wasnt a discount on a second bucket but you could buy their $20 bucket that you can get a discount on for the rest of the year.
Your hometown movie theater. People online complaining about 30 minutes (!) worth of trailers and commercials before getting to see what they paid for? Not here. Has a very small-town feel with cozy theaters and, unlike the big theater chains, the popcorn and drinks arent going to bust the budget either. Highly recommended.
I feel this a great theater for families especially, as its not too pricey, though it is a little lower quality. Weve only come to matinees, which costs $4.50 for adults, and $4.50 is the normal price no matter the hours for children 3-12 years old. They typically have the newest movies at the same time as the regular theaters, so no real compromise there, and a large bucket of popcorn is $4. We will continue to enjoy this theater for years to come, I can only imagine.
This place was amazing and I love the staff here because they are always smiling. The snacks are very cheap and also the price to watch movies is amazing! Its definitely not a luxurious movie theater, but for the price I would rather go here than any other movie theater in town! I highly recommend the Water Gardens Cinema 6 and you should definitely pick it over any other theater. I am definitely coming back!
Not the cleanest or nicest theater around. Wanted to get popcorn and a drink but the line was super long for the few registers that they had. Go early to get snacks. Saw Frozen 2 and it only cost $4.50 per person so the price was good since I took a family of 8 and they have a kid tray for an ok price. Not bad for a snowy afternoon escape.
It is a wonderful alternative to the regularly priced movie theaters. The seats were and interior have been completely redone since the last time I went, which admittedly was like 3 years ago. Even the concessions are more reasonably priced!
We went to a drive in movie event put on by the Fields Team and it was really a lot of fun!
Great prices, not crowded at all!
The best part of this theater is the cheaper concessions compared to other theaters. Its old the chairs arent really comfortable. Id expect way cheaper prices than $5.
Theres a reason its usually crowded. Best price in Utah valley. Its nice to be able to take kids to an affordable movie. You cant complain at these prices. Too me its just as good as any where else. Just harder to get tickets
Water Gardens was a discount theater showing second-run movies, but recently switched to first-run. The ticket prices are still comparatively cheap, though, and the theater has a friendly, relaxed, family-run and family-friendly (no R-rated shows) feel to it. Concessions are cheap, the theaters are pretty nice (wide, comfortable chairs, but not recliners; sloped floor, but not terraced seating) and clean, sound is good. I find it more fun than the slick, expensive, professional Cinemarks and such. Give it a try!
The Water Gardens is a VERY comfortable & clean theater! But the biggest bonus & surprise is the concessions are so reasonable and CHEAP as far as movie theaters go! A bottle of water was $1!!! Love this place!!!! And best popcorn ever!!!
A good experience. I had gone to a drive - in movie during COVID - 19 but I could not open our trunk! I had to get into our trunk and do a lot of other restrictions and I did not have a great experience. I had gone for my birthday and it was not the most happy experience.
Such an amazing movie theater, its very clean and updated, and for 6.50 per ticket you cant beat that. Not even amc is that cheap. Not to mention they arent skimping on quality. The chairs are very comfortable and the the theater itself is great. So now you can save money on tickets to spend more on popcorn and snacks! Definitely recommend this theater to everyone!
Close to me. Cheap and yummy concessions. New movies. Great price. I hope they never leave!
This place is awesome! I’m from out of town and the first time I came, I was looking for just the convenience of the movie time. What surprised me was how cheap the movie tickets were! Then, it was $6.50 I believe for the opening day showing of Avengers End Game. Today it was $4.50 for the matinee ofToy Story 4. My large water bottle was $2. And medium popcorn was $2. Insanely inexpensive with reserved seating. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Typical movie seating but plenty of space... you don’t feel smashed in there like sardines. A great experience that we will enjoy each time we are in town looking to watch a movie!!
A Hidden Gem! This place feels like a Mayberry movie theater. Wholesome, welcoming, and frugal. They select movies that are appropriate for most all ages (No Rs). Their snacks are low priced. The movie tickets are low priced. This is my preferred movie theater (although Cinemarks reclining chairs are hard to beat).
Very glad they were open. They had a makeshift outdoor drive in. Not the greatest quality, but it was a great outlet from the pandemic.
The prices cant be beat. It has a real old school feel to it thats hard to find nowadays. My experiences with the staff have always been positive.
We went to the drive-in. It was super lame. We had to tune our radio to get the audio from the movie and the signal was so poor we couldnt hear any of the dialogue. We where forced to park 4 rows back from a very small screen. We could barely see the show. The perfect storm. No point really.
This is a great discount (but still first-run) theater. Concessions are a good price too. Youll save a lot of money over time coming here instead of a Cinemark or Megaplex! Tickets are generally $7 and theres no silly convenience fee for buying online.
For a budget movie theater, its great. Good facilities, cheap concessions, and good service. Definitely a good alternative to some bigger theaters.
So fun to go to a drive in to see Goonies! Loved it
4 stars because of the price. As dirty as this place is and as small as the screens are, along with low quality, you cant beat the price! Especially if you have 5 kids. This place makes it affordable for families to go to the movies. If we go to the big chain theaters, were always sneaking in snacks and drinks because theyre OUTRAGEOUSLY priced. Snacks at Water Gardens are cheaper than the dollar store!
Always fast and easy to order tickets and food. Decently clean for a movie theater. Great selection and very low prices!
This is a high quality theater at a family-affordable price. Just exactly what the valley needs. Go on Tuesday night for an extra bonus!
Pretty nice place in a pretty nice town.
One of few discount theatres left. Great for families and seats are fairly comfortable. Also the screen size is great for the size of the room.
I really hope this place survives another decade. You cant beat dollar style theaters and affordable concessions. All candy is about a dollar so we always let everyone choose their favorite. Popcorn and drinks are a steal too! Its nothing fancy but you can still catch a recent film and enjoy some quality time with family or take it solo and buy allllll the candy for yourself!
This is is best theatre to take family. Treats and popcorn are affordable. Tickets are really reasonable and staff are friendly.
This a fantastic location! Takes you back to the 90’s. Affordable and enjoyable. The staff is friendly and the theater is back to the basics. Totally worth the price.
If you dont mind waiting for a movie to arrive at this theater, then you will still have a great experience with 1/2 price on tickets and concessions!
Great theater! Love that it’s a little lower priced for taking the family to a movie. Their concessions are priced really well.
Not a better theater, ANYWHERE!Id come religiously, but I live too far from PG. Please, make another in Lehi, Saratoga Springs, or even Eagle Mountain (still a 20-30 minute drive).Cheap ticket prices, and incredible candy selection with prices that reflect a dollar store rather than a movie theater. All this ans one would expect a dirty theater and hardly-noticeable costumer service... not the case at all. Seriously, a great experience!
Pricing is the name of the game here, and they have some pretty good pricing. I also really like the classic style of getting snacks and tickets inside the building, and that they hire a variety of different people. The guy who showed us to our theater though was not very nice however, and it was very apparent that he did not want to be there or help anyone. But other than that everything was great and very clean!
This place is a hidden treasure. Theyre reasonably priced and offer deals. And their kettle corn is really really good. :) Sometimes a little dirty but its worth the price you pay.
Cheap, amazing, and great staff! Plus they believe in the 2nd Amendment ;)
Great prices for tickets and concessions. Kind staff. Clean facilities. Some of the theatres are pretty small. In those rooms, most seats are on the ground level instead of at a major incline like you expect to see at most movie theatres. If you dont like looking up at the screen you can reserve a seat in the back ahead of time.
It was the perfect place to go on New Years day. The manager is incredible. The price of concessions and tickets cant be beat!
Movie had to be stopped 2x and then they changed the frequency but yelled it out once so if you were in your car with the windows up you didnt hear.
It was clean, but felt a little run down. The staff that I interacted with seemed very unconcerned with anything, but werent rude.
One of the only affordable ways to take a family to the movies. The facility is clean and in good repair. Its not fancy reclining seats, but still comfortable and spacious. Only complaint is they only have Pepsi products!
This place never disappoints on value. $5 movies on Tuesdays get you popcorn and a drink as well. I will always go here before any other theater.
I am super impressed with their customer service! Even when there was a technical issue with the projector and our move was canceled, they offered refunds and and appropriate compensation with a smile.WE WILL BE BACK!!!
Great place for a date or family night, Ive only witnessed one technical issue since they opened years ago and it was promptly addressed. They hire upstanding young people, it was one of the most envied jobs when I was in high school. Its also SUPER affordable without being trashy. You can get popcorn and a ticket for 5 bucks on tuesday, killer deal.Love me some watergardens!
A fun place to be with family and friends for great family movies. Not to mention the fantastic combo deals for all the snackage youll ever need. Fantastic place!!!
I love going to this movie theater. They do a really good job of keeping the place clean, and the staff have always been very friendly and helpful. The best thing about this theater is the price. Tickets prices, popcorn, drinks, and candy are cheaper than other theaters. They also have a special deal on Tuesdays that gets you a ticket, small drink and small popcorn for $5. This is a great place to see a movie especially if you have a big family and want to have a low cost trip to the movies.
The seating and theater werent the best, but the snacks, popcorn and drinks are actually affordable! ! And the people working there were very polite and pleasant!! Its kept very clean & Lower prices at the movies is so rare! Ill be coming again!
First-run movie theater, but tickets are super cheap all the time. No R-rated films. On Tuesdays they have a deal where you get a ticket, and a small popcorn and drink for $5. Assigned seating. Older theater, so seats arent state-of-the-art, but theyre comfy.
This is the theater i go to the most. Very inexpensive tickets and snacks, relatively. The theaters are clean, and good quality.
Love to go here. Reminds me of when movie theaters were a fun activity instead of an expensive one. The concessions are much cheaper than other theatres and the movies are just as good. Plus they have 5 dollar tuesday that comes with a small drink and popcorn. Best value for your money when it come to going to the movies.
We like this theater. The floor is sometimes sticky but we dont mind for a better priced movie ticket. They are doing their best and hire local kids. They get all the new releases without the higher price tag. They have a good selection of treats/ goodies for a good price. My kids especially love getting their popcorn refilled. Its a small town theater close to home. The exterior stucco was recently painted and it looks fantastic.
When my family goes to see movies, we make our schedule fit THIS theater. The prices are amazing and the staff is always delightful. Other theaters have a lot to learn about what the public really wants from a movie experience!
