The Y has been a source of friendship, education, recreation, fitness and community since we moved to plainview in 1987. Our children grew up there and loved it. My husband and I sold our Plainview home 2 years ago and still maintain our membership. If you are in the area, Mid Island Y is the place to be.

It is a nice place people there are nice a pleasure to work in. The kids are so cute!!!

The pool at Mid-Island Y JCC is big and has lots of equipment to help people that are learning to swim. The camp is big,great and has lots of activities:):).

Their gym has barely any equipment and the equipment is dirty and smells of sweat. The snack bar charges insane prices and they dont allow snacks or drinks from outside. MEMBERSHIP PRICES ARE INSANE, STAFF IS RUDE

This place is absolutely atrocious... the receptionists are very rude and the director is snotty and obnoxious. The place is filthy as well. Do yourself a favor and stick with a regular community center, not these jewish ones, they cost half as much anyway. The only positive thing about this place is the security guards are really nice.

Monthly payment is so good. I used lifetime, but to me, this place is better. Good parking space, not many Uneducated people. Facility is not better than lifetime. But I like this place better.

Great facility. Awesome camp for the kids. Nice gym. Need more Pilates classes but the instructor is fantastic!

Although I am not a member anymore, my son does attend a special needs program here. The employees here are like family members. They are professionals who care about the members. The facilities are spotless and well maintained. I highly recommend the JCC Plainview for whatever your needs may be.
